Clara loved Christmas. It was a time for her to bake cookies, visit old friends and be with the whole family. One Christmas we brought her to visit us in New York City. She had always hoped to see the "Big Tree" at Rockefeller center. As you can see, the joy on her face transported her back into being a kid during the holidays. Seeing her glee was one of the greatest presents I could have ever received. We miss her, but as she said, memories are the greatest gift. Hope you and yours are having a great holiday.

I started watching Clare's videos when she first posted them. I always loved them and her. She was an amazing awesome lady. I truly miss her. I know she is in heaven. RIP Clara.

People who lived through the depression always seemed to take life as it comes and enjoy what they had, not worry about what they didnt have. Clara reminds me of my own Gram who I lost in 84 at the age of 94. She taught me more than anyone else. Merry Christmas dear Clara and the family that still has all the wonderful memories.

I found this wonderful and beautiful Lady’s RUclips CHANNEL ABOUT 10 years ago and many years later I still enjoy rewatching her videos and reading here cooking book! It and her DVD and her book are still available at Walmart and Amazon today! Clara reminds me and many others of our Grandmothers and our MOMS! That a joy to watch her videos and read her cooking book!

My 83 yo aunt and I discovered Clara during the pandemic. We lived on opposite sides of town and didn't get to see each other often, but we loved watching Clara and commenting on her recipes and witticisms. I lost my aunt this past summer and so when Clara popped up on my RUclips feed I was sad and happy at the same time. I am going to take this as a gift from my Aunt Rose. I miss you Aunt Rose.

I am watching this at 2:44 AM. So very happy to see Clara! The carolers were wonderful. I was thinking of my mother and father who were born in 1921 who are not here now. They too lived through the depression and this makes me think of the good times back then, even though times were uncertain and things were sparse, they made their own fun. Thank you for sharing Clara with us. You have made my early morning very happy.

I used to watch this as a teen to calm down at night to sleep, now I’m 30 and show my wife the great Clara! Can’t wait to show my son!

I was blessed to have someone like Clara in my life as well. Your dear Clara reminds me of my grandmother so very much. My grandma was born in 1919 and was Italian also. Her door was always open and her house always smelled amazing as she was always cooking something delicious. Her house was immaculate. I’m her grandson, born in 1972. I spent the majority of my childhood in her house, summers at her house, every holiday, every weekend. Then, when my mother died when I was 21, my grandma was the central figure in my life. I moved in with her when I was 27 and got to spend the last 5 years of my life with her. I now own her house and the videos of Clara really, REALLY remind me of my grandma. Thank you for making them!

I lost my grandmother 12/28/2020 and this made me cry. She reminds me of my grandma so much. And I miss her more than anything in the world. Christmas was her favorite season. And now Christmas breaks my heart bc we lost her three days after.

Oh how I wish we had more of her videos. I just found them and we need them these days. I also feel the same as some others of commented. I miss someone I did not even know personally. I know it’s a giant loss for the family even though it’s been nine years.
