"Raw" would imply dough, usually, and I doubt she was eating buttery dough. Flour, also, has a TON of nutrients in it. As they are made with salt, flour, and water, they are also surprisingly nutritious. You get sodium, a good source of carbs, a decent source of protein, and low fats that are made up for with the butter. All in all, actually a decently round source of nutrition, all things considered. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's not actually that sparse. :D

But I have arthritis in my jaw and can't really eat stuff like salad (which i crave often) or anything you've got to bite into (i miss burritos!) Some days it's just hummus with a spoon. I just did imitation crab salad, w soft tofu instead of mayo. Bet w vegan scrambled eggs u could do egg salad as an option. Soft tofu w jam/ a softer fruit could be a version of yogurt w fruit. Devin Lytle has a video where she explores soft food for her mom. Don't think it's vegan, but might be a jumping off point for ideas
I got a really powerful stick blender to help with digestive issues (a little different, but somewhat similar problem of needing food to be broken down more). Using it for bean dips, thick and creamy pureed vegetable soups, applesauce etc. has been great.
Had this issue (due to a fight) vegan as well. Just have a little rest with your jaw, exclude all chemicals, get all the essential nutrients, especially sufficient vitamin D and have some good sleep solves it rapedly. Try it.

I went vegan a little while ago for health reason. It’s not nearly as hard as I heard it was nor is there any deprivation of nutrients. My doctor told me, and this is an exact quote, “I’m gonna save your life with two words. Go vegan.” It’s been 6 months and yes, I miss meat and dairy, but not as much as I don’t miss the 30 pounds I lost or the fact that I’m not sick every day or at all, really. Another weird side effect. My farts are way less stinky. So is my body odor. What the heck?! Meat does THAT?! I’ve always needed prescription strength deodorant. Now? Basic suave for me, please. So much less expensive. Vegan isn’t hard, there’s plenty of protein that isn’t meat, and as long as you pay attention to your body and eat enough then you’ll never be nutrient deprived. I will eat meat again. But I’m now vegan and will consider eating meat and dairy the way that I’m supposed to. With caution.
My favourite cereal is the chocolate peanut butter Leapin Leamurs cereal. It’s tasty and it’s usually in the health food section of my supermarket. Hack!
