Fruitful conversation, if things go as they think. Any country can become strong. The sad thing is, people in power will never agree with them or support them.

Whoever votes whether you are general public, Army will decide which party should form the government and who will be the prime minister.
    This is democracy.

I am an Indian. And I work with RSS on Agricultural Policy matters. My recent work was on producing a paper on Genetically Modified Crops/Seeds. Listening to the discussion led me into disbelief if this is what educated intellectuals engage in. So, these people are advocating creating of multiple "Idara" (or institutions) that deal "specifically" with implementation of policies enacted by parliament. And I can at the outset see few "conflicts" of interests in institutions proposed by this panel. It's a very long discussion and I really don't have time to re-watch and point out exactly what. Why is this panel "re-inventing" models out of thin air with an assumption that their models are better than those that exist? Did any one on this panel research if these "technocratic govt" existed elsewhere in the world ( I do remember few exceptions, may be in Italy)?
I can quickly say only one thing. The reason why Army's military govt failed is because they live in their barracks, far removed from the public and have outsourced the activity of policy decisions to a "technocratic team". Now you are saying that the cure for this is have parliament create a policy and let "technocratic team" deliver it. Can you tell me who will be the fall guy if a particular policy fails? Parliament or "technocratic team"? Are there any checks/balances on this "technocratic team"? If they are, then how is it different from the bureaucracy? It seems you've reinvented the wheel. There are too many flaws I can see. But good luck!

After every 2 1/2 years Pakistan shows up naked in front of I.M.F to preserve its dwindling dignity. It talks of its meager reserves in the state bank. The problem lies in the psychological state of mind of a military state. This flourishing state with its own various criminal enterprises enabled Pakistan to stay as a failed and bankrupt state. Discussion about a paltry economy is a waste of time. A failed and bankrupt state is under no obligation to lie.

Though it was a good discussion, the questions asked from the panelists were not answered rather other discussion was held. For example, when asked 'What is meant by reforms? Who formulates the policy documents? How does the policy document prepared?' No relevant information is provided.
I have watched other videos as well, and almost all of them were fruitful, this one is not that much helpful.

Your live chat is not working. My question is that with such a large shadow economy how can you incentivise them to document themselves and then how can you tax them in a reasonable manner.

The Question is answered at the end, govt has to reduce it's footprint & over-regulation, let the markets flourish & money to circulate, let people invest more.
Many thanks for your contribution. Keep watching

It is all bakwas. Did any country did this type of charter of economy. Plz ask for reforms required only in economic field. That's it. Did congress did it with bjp while made reforms 1991 for such funny charter. Did democrate did it with republican or republican did with democrates. Did Singapore Lee asked opposition for any charter. Yes we needed a charter of ethical and moral values. Nothing else. Our people are confused with what discussion some idiot opened for such a aimless charter.
