Sir, PPP matters for basic lifestyle like aata, chawal, maida but when you start being an upper middle class you lose big time in PPP as many of our expenses will be on mostly imported goods or premium items where India taxes like hell. You are taxed high for nothing no free healthcare or education. In that matter we are worse off in PPP compared to Nordic countries. Real estate cost in India is one of the highest in comparison to PPP.
