@@LakeProTackle man your opinion matters because the sound it makes make the reel feel cheaper than it is! thought i had a defective reel and tried isolating the sound and realized it was the brakes. Thank you so much! I just received the reel.
@@LakeProTackle thats just crazy. Glad it isn’t an issue but it definitely is an annoyance. First time i had a reel sound like this lol my first Abu Garcia too! Love me some Daiwa but gotta try other brands too!
Abu garcia has had a standard across their reels of a 8mmx5mm shaft size and 95mm handle length this is a 100mm handle length as from what if gathered and is the same center hole shaft size.

Yes it is the braking system working inside the reel. It is something I have talked with Abu Garcia about already but who cares about my opinion🤷🏻♂

Does this model have a drag clicker??
It does not but the drag is pretty smooth

Pretty sure the spool is 200 size.
The Abu Garcia website says for mono/fluoro 160yd/10 130yd/12 90yd/17.
It's a 100 or 150 size not big enough for a 200 size.
Hopefully better side plate release button location. Annoying I always accidentally opened mine while fishing on my Gen4 STX reels..
They have moved the side plate release button to the front of the reel to minimize that!
I'll never go back to Abu Garcia after I lost three side plates that flew off in the lake. Shimono is a much better reel manufacturer.
