Refreshing to see honest opinions. I have Rubber B on my Tudor BB41 and Zelande on my SMP300. They have very different feels but both have stood up to almost constant wear. The Rubber B takes more of a beating but always seems to remain in perfect condition. The Zelande also remains in immaculate condition but has a slightly stickier feel and tends to gather more debris/dirt. I have equal faith in both still.
Hi Tony Greetings from Germany Thanx for your videos The quality of the straps is ok The price is too high!! Do you have any recommendations for good rubber straps for omega and Tudor watches, I would prefer ordering in Europe…. Thanx again Happy new year 🎆
So digging this channel and the straight-up, no BS. Your consistent approach, and the comments from subscribers, shows that authenticity still means something. 🤙
This is why we love you Tony! Saying it like it is! When I read the title I couldn't help but to chuckle lol 😂 . Love your honesty man, thanks for protecting us from the price gouging!
Thanks man! I agree! I should be able to do an unbiased review without any backlash from the company. But, they could possibly take into consideration some of the downfalls of their product. If it was $40 I would have given a stellar review on it.
Bro👍🏼 I’ve been following your channel for quite some time now. Awesome reviews. I loved it when you unhooked the blue strap then put the red one in. That was awesome. Where did you get that? It looks like a very well thought out product. Cheers and Happy Father’s Day to all you good looking fathers out there.
I have large wrists so I'm limited on what works for me. My favorite is the FKM from Long Island Watch. It fits my 8 1/2" wrist and looks good on my blue 300m. I don't care one way or the other about fitted ends so I have the universal fit strap w/flat ends. It looks like an Isofrane strap.
I think your channel is cool because you tell it like you feel not sugar coated or filled with BS and the people that follow your channel probably follow a bunch more watch channels. The smaller channels are all the best channels, inland watch reviews, not so obvious watches, etc. not many subs but the best real content you can get by no means underestimate how influential you are.IMHO cheers
Sometimes is not how hard is the rubber band, Richard Mille straps are over $3k and the rubbers is very soft, sometimes is more to be comfortable, my 2 Rolex Oysterflex are not confortables like the Zealands🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Zealande straps are comfortable. So is silicone. Comfort doesn’t equal quality. I also cannot speak regarding the Oysterflex since I don’t own one. I’m just saying that Zealande are not of the same quality as the OEM strap. I do appreciate your comment though. 🤙🤙
Wish all watches had a system similar to our Cartier Santos! That being said I just bought the same Seamaster 300M diver white dial on the bracelet and am debating on which rubber strap to get- $300 for the Omega or is there a really good alternative ?
I agree on the Santos system! I heard Rubber B is okay. I’ve not tried them. Honestly, I would spend the extra $ and go with Omega brand. It’s a great strap and you will get a nice Omega buckle. Congrats! I wear mine everyday! 🤙🤙
@@talkingtimepieceswithtony exactly there is no point in saving few dollars for these aftermarket straps unless they can sell you some special design and quality for a quarter of the OEM cost. They will never be nor feel like the Omega OEM strap and for the money they ask, it is a joke. BTW I bought 2 omega OEM rubber straps for my 2 300M divers at 270 usd each.
Wassup Tony I bought a rubber strap for my Rolex No Date from Everest and it was around $250.00. Currently it's on my Omega Bond Edition. I was able to fit it on the Omega using the OEM spring bars.
@@talkingtimepieceswithtony Quality is excellent bur I feel it's a bit pricey. I've also purchased straps from Burtons and they are good for a bargain for 💰
I bought some Zealande straps a few years ago for my Rolex watches. I paid around 100€ each for them (think a little under). Even at that price point I had doubts. Now looking for a strap to put on my Seamaster and todays price is totally ridiculous. I bought after market straps for Seikos below 50€ and they are better than the Zealande straps. It is exactly as you say. The Zealande straps are fine if it wasn’t for the price point.
Your absolutely correct. Overpriced almost same as the omega one so why would you buy it. Only reason is its white which omega dont do. I spent £500 on the omega rubber with deployant and its fantastic. I think people buy the non oem and then want to brainwash themselves into believing its equal or better.
You'd think that this company would appreciate an honest review so they can develop their products. After all this is what their customers think about their product. This is basically free market research.
Would’ve been better if you’d done a like for like demo. Of course it’s not completely on par with an Omega, no one expects it to be. Of course it’s overpriced but so are Omega’s. This makes no sense to me. Anyone who’s expecting the exact same quality is dreaming. If you’re that bothered go buy from Omega. They are a good quality option at a fraction of the price that give people a cheaper option of buying different colours for their watch. Just my opinion.
I agree with other people here in that we appreciate your honesty. In particular, you’re not being critical-you’re being honest. You’re also being constructive. My thoughts about the CEO texting you are critical however, so I’ll refrain from commenting on that!
Thank you. I agree that the CEO should have thought before he texted me at 4am. One reason I hate some of the review channels is because the watches/accessories are given to them specially for a review. $175 is a lot of money for a strap, especially an aftermarket strap. Price gouging and taking advantage of people because you have a Rolex/Omega etc. It’s kinda Shady.
And what should i buy for my omega seamaster 300m? I want a white strap and a miami blue strap. But i dont see another brand fits perfect except zelande.
Its expensive but WORTH every penny. I got mine 3 days ago, and fits excellent, also bezel works great. Very comfortable. Feels great. I it wouldn’t i would definitely send it back. Thought a lot because of these type of comments but it worths for every penny.
The price point is relative to the client net worth not at all related to the product delivered....they think ppl who buy it are rich ....not that they need to price it according to what you are receiving........I think 30$ max....and even that will allow significant margins.....these ppl are gouging for a Chinese mass produced piece of plastic
Equating pliability, the lack of it or the increased amount of it, with quality definitely shouldn’t be the determinant. I just bought a RubberB which is just as pliable as the strap you’re reviewing here and it costs $100+ more than the Zealande. I’d think if you bought that one you’d have the same sentiment, so is your review correct as it relates to quality, I’d have misgivings on that conclusion. This strap’s flexibility didn’t meet your requirements but from most other forum reviewers, not RUclipsrs, they’d say that Zealande holds its own at the price point they’re sold at.
Awesome! Did you have a dictionary in front of you when writing this? I base my opinion on durability, material and price point. I don’t follow the crowed on forums or other such outlets. I form my own opinion. And that is all it is. My opinion. We all have one. But thanks for your comment. 🤙🤙
