I just purchased one and am ready for my husband and I to start our “Carnivore” journey together on August 20, 2024. We’ve been preparing and educating ourselves on starting, what to expect, how to succeed for around a month now and have made this purchase because he is very picky and I want him to enjoy our meat to the best of my ability….with a little help from Drea ChefMaker, of course! Thanks for the videos! Keep them coming! 🥩🥓🍳🍗😋
We have 2 Dreo chefmakers and they are the best. We have owned multiple different brands in the past few years but nothing beats the Dreo. We get perfect ribeyes every time. My husband takes one on the road (Truck Driver) and he loves how easy he can clean it after he cooks his meat. 😊👍
I am still using my Dreo Chefmaker, but the probe stopped working after about the third use. ( I never submerged mine in water, but only wiped it off as you mention). I tried many times to use the probe but it just gives me a message that it is not attached. I just use the air-fryer option with the grill basket, for all my steaks that I mostly start from frozen. I mostly only cook steaks or chicken wings. Sometimes I pan-fry my steaks if they are not frozen, but I still like my Dreo even if I can't use the probe. It is pretty easy to clean and that means a lot as I use it two to three times every day.
I am sorry to hear that. Curiously, did you see the part about not submerging the probe in water? I am SURE that if you contact Dreo they will replace the probe either way. www.dreo.com/pages/contact-us
I have had issues with the probe in the chef mode, it works fine on probe mode. I have gone through the process of resetting it with the instructions on the app. I bought extra probes and that has not helped. I use it as an air fryer most of the time.
Hi, I had a bit of trouble with the probe on my new Dreo, this worked for me, give it a try... when the probe is all attached to the door, where is comes into contact with the main body of the Chefmaker there are 3 little springy contacts. I must have gotten just enough of something on them that apparently they were not making good contact when the drawer was closed for cooking. I simply took a paper towel and a little warm water and wiped the 3 little springy contacts, and their mates on the probe... problem solved! I give them a little wipe once and a while, no more problems, and I use it every day. (Thank You, Dante!!!) Good luck, I hope that helps you out a bit! Happy Dreo-ing!
@@jjf5885 Thank you for this advice, I can't believe I did not try that myself. I will see if it works for me as I do want to be able to use the probe.
I was thinking of buying an air fryer months ago, but when I saw the Dreo on your channel I'd instantly made up my mind that no other air fryer would do! However, living in the UK made it difficult to obtain until a few months ago, so as soon as it became available, I pulled the trigger. Best thing I've done for a long while - it has become an absolute game changer! It's only my wife and I, so cooking meat for two is easy, however, if you need to cook both meat and veg for a family then it may not suit your needs (unless you can afford to have two of course lol)
I bought mine on your recommendation, also bought one for my in-laws. I use mine almost every day, sometimes I use my cinder grill when I’m busy and can’t monitor it when it’s done cooking. The Dreo is great because it’s easy and fast, the cinder grill will hold the meat at the right temperature and not overcook. I can leave for an hour or more, then sear the meat so it’s hot when I eat it.
OMG!!!! thank you for recommending the Dreo chef maker to us I have had myne for about 7 months I kept watching your videos ever since you were on the lion diet and you have been such an inspiration!!! ❤ I have gotten the chef maker with your discount and also the real salt and real smoked salt with your codes. I noticed the salt is a little thicker so I’m going to go on the Amazon store and use your link to get the oxo mess free grinders as well.!!!! You have a lifer subscriber here ! 🎉
I have a Dreo Chefmaker and love it, with one exception. The temperature probe stops working. I've purchased two at this point and it stopped working as well.

@@FerrignoFreedom Thanks. I’ve never submerged my probe. I just wipe it down after each use. I ordered a replacement from Dreo and treated it properly as well but it also stopped working after only a few uses.
@@ClayAngelly you ordered a new one? If it was under warranty they would have sent you a new one. And if the new one didn’t work, the issue is clearly a deeper issue than the probe. I would reach out to them as I mentioned before, I’m sure they will make it right.
@@FerrignoFreedom I ordered a new probe. Yeah, I tried contacting them but it was soon after the initial Kickstarter so I never heard back and just decided to replace the probe myself...but got another bad probe. :/
Dante, do you remember mentioning about 1 study around synthetic citric acid being bad? So here is the interesting thing. First of all it takes multiple studies for verification, but I found 2 studies without even looking hard that shows that citric acid (as well as acetic and ascorbic), inhibit the action of amylase and maltase enzymes. What that means is that ultimately taken before a meal, they can reduce the amount of glucose being aborbed
Dante New sub here and Floridian neighbor in summerfield. Thanx for the Dreo discount. Just ordered one. Keep up the awesome inspiring videos. Just started carnivore a few months ago. But I’m looking to gain weight and stop the discomfort I get from foods other than meat and eggs. Any tips on how to pack on 25 pounds? Thanx Bob
I have never in my life had the problem of not being able to put on weight, but I do know that if you’re eating a lot of protein, you can easily convert that protein into muscle by lifting something heavy and repeating. I got the best results in my life, doing simple things like air, squats, push-ups, rucking, walking, and a little dumbbell work or pull ups if you have a bar that you have to reach up to. The point is you don’t have to spend a lot of money to do it, but you do have to get up and do it. I hope this helps, my friend. 😎👍🏽💪🏽🥩💧🧂
They do ship to the UK, but you may want to check into the 220/110 voltage issue. I think they’re all 110v so you may need a converter to use them there. I’m not an expert on that. I assume you’re not in the UK though. Sorry about that.
Hi Dante, I got my friend on the Carnivore diet for about 12 days now. He was doing well until today. He think he has gotten gout. He was strictly meat only. what should he do? What do you recommend? Thank you!

I love my Dreo Chiefmaker use it every days love the convenience of a perfectly cooked steak with the set and forget features of the Dreo.

@FerrignoFreedom, what brand salt shaker is that at the 3:12 mark in the video?

Thanks Dante! How often do you cook from frozen these days? You used to love that way of cooking.
Whenever I forget to defrost. I still like it that way but I would occasionally overcook them that way. The ChefMaker has spoiled me.
