I just bought a pair of these wired sets for me and the wife. Easy set-up and the quality, the sound, and the ease of use is fantastic. By the way, the price for two of these headsets from LAB was less than a single one from Harley Davidson. Thanks, Ryan, Rick, and crew!
I just bought one of these headsets to replace the factory headset that came with my 2015 FLHTKL. The original H-D helmet mounting clamp for the boom mic cracked and there was no way I was buying an original H-D headset since they're still the same, bulky design. Anyway, I'm kind of a perfectionist and didn't want to randomly install the IMC ear speakers w/o knowing which one was stereo left and stereo right. I found an MP3 test file that I copied to a flash drive and played on the bike with the IMC headset plugged in. Turns out the short speaker wire on the IMC harness is left, and the long speaker wire is right. So if you're into being audio-correct, you need to orient the two short harness wires on the left side of your helmet.

Hello Ryan. This been a 2017 review !! What you recommend for half helmets to day. I am overwhelmed with the so many products . I ride a 2013 Electra Glide Ultra limited
Been using the HD headset that came with my Ultra. The connector to the helmet clamp is poor. I have to often jiggle it to get it to work. The IMC connection looks much more positive and substantial.

I too used the HD comm system just a couple of times and like MuncieBill, the 7-pin cord would work itself from the boom mic clamp. Very disappointed with it. Thank goodness I didn't buy the darn thing since it came with my 2013 CVO Ultra. Anyway, I bought the IMC and installed it into my Bell Mag 9 Sena helmet within minutes and very pleased with it. I really like that the boom mic goes inside the helmet and not clamped to the outside. I did remove the speaker pads since my Bell 9 has really deep stereo pockets in the cheek pads. No need for the pads. The Sena comm system IS wireless, but I can't see spending the money for it. IMO it would really make my Ultra stereo, intercom and CB useless. Great video as always!!!
I'm trying to install these in a Shark Evoline modular and there is just too much pressure on my ears. I need some guidance on enlarging the speaker pockets on the helmet. Basically carving the styrofoam without tearing it up.
How do you feel about the headset now? Since it's been some time since video? If still satisfied, I will be ordering one for my full face modular when I hear back from you.
We are very happy with the IMC headset. If you have more questions, give Rick a shout. rick@lawabidingbiker.com Ride safe & Ride Often! I installed these in an LS2 helmet. They cause a lot of pressure on my ears as if I’m supposed to create a recess in the styrofoam somehow. Has anyone else experienced that on their install?
U installed my system last night. I just went out to test the headset with my modular helmet. I have some questions and concerns, how can I contact you?
I tested the same IMC headset that's on the store website and when I'm at speeds more than 60 miles per hour it's kind of hard to hear the volume when I have the volume turned up all the way is there something on my bike that I need to adjust?
Not sure of your bike and stereo model Etc. Depends on full or half helmet etc....can be dependant on fairings, the height of windshield, hearing abilities, crosswinds and on. We don't have any problems hearing them at freeway speeds on Streetglides etc.

Added this setup to my Shoei Neotec 2, since Sena’s Srl did not work with their freewire product. The imc speakers sound good, but mic sounds muffled.
A trick: you can watch movies on flixzone. Been using them for watching a lot of movies recently.
