Please accept my apology. I just didn't have the plug in correctly. I had it in enough to get the radio, but not correctly enough to activate the mic, I guess. Got it now and they are super. Sorry, but thanks again. Have to be smarter than the plug in!
Ryan, not sure if the bugs you are talking about (14:36) are what the Boom Owner's Manual briefly describes on page 79 - bluetooth devices: no shuffle, browse, find, track list, or preset capability. Great videos BTW. This channel is usually my first source for info.

Piece of advice: replace that foam mic cover with a Dead Cat if you don't have a full face helmet. you can get them cheap off amazon, and will be glad you did every time you ride!

The CB trick is an OK workaround for VOX, but it's not really necessary. If you set the VOX setting to the absolute lowest (all the way to the left), it turns off VOX and makes it so you have to use PTT. It mentions this in the Boom Box instruction book (page 123), but it's not really intuitive onscreen. It would be better if the lowest setting said "PTT" That said, in 2017 the only Ultras coming with CBs are the CVOs. So on 2017 non-CVOs there is no rider PTT button on the right-side controls. There is still a PTT for the passenger. I ride in In Yukon and BC, Canada and a fair number of riders still want the CB, so I just did the install after I got my 2017 Ultra Limited. Not cheap, but it was an easy upgrade. You will need the CB module, right side controls with PTT/squelch, CB antenna stud and the CB antenna. Fortunately the coax for the CB is already run at the factory.
We have everything turned on, we can hear the music and like when I talk I can't hear the passenger but I can hear myself. Is there something wrong with the headset?
I bought this kit for my 15 ultra. It has noise ( static/ popping) in the drivers set and none in the rear. We swapped sets and its same. Theres no noise with either set when plugged into passenger plug. Has anyone else had this issue?

Has anyone found it difficult to wear sunglasses with the half helmet version? It would seem with the bar that loops around the back of the head curving over the top of the ears it would impede the wearing of sunglasses. Thanks
Just received two different types of your IMC headsets, and am loving them. I have a Harley 3/4 helmet that was particularly hard to work with. I installed the speakers in the ear flaps and the boom mic on the exterior. It works so far and doesn't look as bad it my description makes it sound. Next plan is a windshield upgrade. Any suggestions for improving on the stock windshield for my 17 Roadglide?

Having a problem with communicating with the boombox with the IMC headsets. I use exact prompt i.e. tune to 98.5. . . she says "pardon" then after giving me a prompt lesson, she cancels. I used my original Harley headset and the exact same prompt is successful. I have the mic right up to my lips with the white button facing me. Any ideas?

No CB on my 2017 TriGlide so no right toggle with PTT. VOX the only option then I'm assuming? Thanks

I have a 16 ultra limited how do I shut off all my tracking if I want to be anonymous and not have my wife follow me how would I shut it off?

Sounds like a Boom Box internal problem. I'd contact your dealership and possibly replace your unit under warranty David.
I just got a new ultra classic limited. Is there any problems with the boom box at this time?

Just an FYI, if you have a removable tourpak OFF no comms will work NO SOUND WILL COME THOUGH THE SPEAKERS FOR DRIVER. Weird
