Yes he is! I met Michael on Stryper's 25th Anniversary Tour and I was able to meet him as well as the other band members Oz, Robert and Tim. They are all wonderful and amazing gentlemen and Michael was amazing when he said a prayer for me because I was just diagnosed with uterine cancer, it was truly a very special moment for me and my husband. I will always be a fan of Michael and Stryper!

As a mom of a developmentally disabled child who was bullied leading to harm,the message needs be out there more . Thank you so much for standing up and using your voice.
I know this is like 3 years later. My wife and I work with kids over weekends. I always tell parents to NEVER accept anything less than the Minimum result on a bully complaint. The minimum result is; 1. The bully gets expelled with immediate effect. (after everything has been taken into consideration like eyewitnesses and other complaints and previous complaints) 2. In order for the bullying kid to be let back into school, he has to be evaluated by a professional person. More often than not, bullies were/are victims themselves and someone with backbone needs to step in. Both steps are crucial because step one moves the bully out of the equation and step two deals with the root cause.

This hits home. My son, now 14, faced bullying. Combined with being High Functioning Autistic, his whole self worth plummeted, along with his football dreams. No matter what a parent says, these kiddos cannot shake off the cold remarks from peers. As a freshman in high school, he finally has a great support staff, and with God's help, we will pull him through. I have played this often for him, and I see him taking ng the lyrics in. I post it on my FB wall, do he can see and be reminded.... Thank you

I remember being bullied in school because I just didn't think on the same wavelength as the people in my classes. I am 51 years old now. I got saved at about 16 years old. If I hadn't, I would have at least attempted suicide. The thing to remember, is that you don't seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem. High school stinks, but you can survive it. Faith in God gives you something else to focus on. It also helps when you have good music which gives you a new song to sing,which can reinforce the things you are learning by faith. In time, things like this get you past the difficulties you are suffering now to get you to the future,and the Lord promised you a future and a destiny.
He is for sure a solid drummer. Just look at his career. He just doesn't do anything for me. Same with Chad Smith. Nothing exciting about either one IMO.
I showed this video to my cousin after her best friend committed suicide and it helped her heal that pain and i got the chance on June 8th to meet STRYPER AND IT WAS AMAZING!! I loved how polite and friendly they are and they all complemented me on something and at the end they called me a friend
Oh my goodness. Wow... Michael and Stryper are real genuine who love and care to do Jesus work. I resignate with this song. My son attempted suicide this past January and God saved his life, even tho he doesn't believe again. He's bipolar and autistic, suffers ptsd. I was the thoughts last year and got help, but still struggle. Im ptsd and bipolar, we are both survivors of abuse, I'm a survivor of rape. I thank Jesus for giving me strength to keep going. We need more Stryper in this world to speak up for those who are too afraid. God bless and one day heaven will be on earth.
As a First Responder, we see the downside to suicide a lot more than anyone should. If you are considering Suicide, please speak up and get help! You are NOT WEAK for needing help! I support Michael 100% in taking up this cause and I wish more people would use their position to support this issue!

Amazing video and very true. I grew up in a household that had abuse in it and it was not ever spoken about. To this day no one ever talks about anything that ever really happened in the past or anything else and we are all going on with our lives without ever acknowledging much of anything that happened before in the past. I did think about suicide a lot, but I did get help after I spent my entire time in school getting picked on and singled out as the new kid. I had managed to move around quite a few times and it just happened right in the middle of the school year each time that I had to get put into another school. I managed to have a total of six different schools and three different high schools. I can say that if people ever tell anyone that they are not good enough for anything then they have no clue who God is. He is truly amazing because I am still here and managed to make a pretty big impact on most of the people around me and that is because I have let God do what He has ordained for my life. I’m truly grateful for the opportunities that have come after the lower points in my life.

First listen. Big Stryper fan for a reason - the music and the message. With this, the music isn't Stryper, but the message completely is. Honestly, it is better than I thought it would be. I think I like it.
I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence, but near where I live the most severe bullying seems to occur where a teacher/ adult is usually not present, like in the locker rooms or on the walk home from school. There was an incident where a boy was attacked by a bully while walking home from school with a friend. When his friend attempted to protect him, he was beaten so badly that they had to run a cat scan on him in order to determine whether he had suffered brain damage as a result of what is referred to in the medical profession as blunt force trauma or being struck repeatedly. Also there were incidents of popular kids bullying unpopular ones in the locker room to the point where one student was actually contemplating suicide. So sometimes these incidents are not addressed the way they should because the students know that an adult isn't likely to overhear the conversation or witness the abuse due to the location.

I wouldn't really classify this as a Christian song, per day. Obviously touches on a Christian principle (love others as God loved you), but it's more a universal message in my opinion. Don't let bullying ruin or define your life. As someone who was bullied growing up, I would relate this whether I was a Christian or not.

I have never had a chance to meet them. Even though, I saw them in 1988 at DAR Constitution Hall in DC. Then again in 1990 the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax(Virginia). 'Honestly' still makes me fall apart every time I hear it. "I'm Not Your Suicide', is from Michael's solo project. So, It can't be labeled a STRYPER track. It does remind me of my tumultuous years in school. I was bullied relentlessly.
Your not weak if you need to get mental health help. I admited myself into a mental hospital when I needed help. It’s okey to get professional help when you need it. I go to counseling twice a week. Desperately encourage anyone who is considering this it’s all OK to get help it shoes strength not weekness

I had the opportunity to meet Michael Sweet & Stryper in Aug 2013 & he's the NICEST musician i've ever met. That aside...when i 1st heard this song & saw the video - I "loved" it. I love the song & the message to it. Great job, all of you! Lomenzo- I still listen to the old White Lion albums & still love them. Amazing video and very true. I grew up in a household that had abuse in it and it was not ever spoken about. To this day no one ever talks about anything that ever really happened in the past or anything else and we are all going on with our lives without ever acknowledging much of anything that happened before in the past. I did think about suicide a lot, but I did get help after I spent my entire time in school getting picked on and singled out as the new kid. I had managed to move around quite a few times and it just happened right in the middle of the school year each time that I had to get put into another school. I managed to have a total of six different schools and three different high schools. I can say that if people ever tell anyone that they are not good enough for anything then they have no clue who God is. He is truly amazing because I am still here and managed to make a pretty big impact on most of the people around me and that is because I have let God do what He has ordained for my life. I’m truly grateful for the opportunities that have come after the lower points in my life.

First listen. Big Stryper fan for a reason - the music and the message. With this, the music isn't Stryper, but the message completely is. Honestly, it is better than I thought it would be. I think I like it.

I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence, but near where I live the most severe bullying seems to occur where a teacher/ adult is usually not present, like in the locker rooms or on the walk home from school. There was an incident where a boy was attacked by a bully while walking home from school with a friend. When his friend attempted to protect him, he was beaten so badly that they had to run a cat scan on him in order to determine whether he had suffered brain damage as a result of what is referred to in the medical profession as blunt force trauma or being struck repeatedly. Also there were incidents of popular kids bullying unpopular ones in the locker room to the point where one student was actually contemplating suicide. So sometimes these incidents are not addressed the way they should because the students know that an adult isn't likely to overhear the conversation or witness the abuse due to the location.

I was bullied in school 20 years ago and it affected me huge.It was tourture and I thought about suicide alot but I also remember I prayed n I was introduced to stryper n the music is almost a safe haven for me still today.I just started listening again after being in treatment for alcohism that almost took my life.Your music is a spirtitual conection to god and i think your minestry is amazing...

Not usually a fan of Christian rock, but this song hits the right chord. Need more people to speak out against bullying of all stripes.
I wouldn't really classify this as a Christian song, per day. Obviously touches on a Christian principle (love others as God loved you), but it's more a universal message in my opinion. Don't let bullying ruin or define your life. As someone who was bullied growing up, I would relate this whether I was a Christian or not.

thank you so much for standing up to the unpopulair ones, i've won the battle against the bullies (at least i think) but wish i knew you back then during the battles, so i would have little back up when my self esteem was at it's lowest, anyway i know there are a lot of boys and girls who are still fighting harder battles than i ever had to fight for to prove they're worthy to live and to be alive

Absolutely strong and powerful message in this... I was bullied to the point of suicidal thoughts when I was about sixteen and the response I got from my so called friends was "Man up" There's a real lack of understanding about it and to get the message out is important.

You aren't kidding! Massive talent there...I've always loved Aronoff as one of the best rock drummers (live and studio) around, Hoekstra is awesome and LoMenzo is damn good. And Sweet's voice remains so incredible.

I have never had a chance to meet them. Even though, I saw them in 1988 at DAR Constitution Hall in DC. Then again in 1990 the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax(Virginia). 'Honestly' still makes me fall apart every time I hear it. "I'm Not Your Suicide', is from Michael's solo project. So, It can't be labeled a STRYPER track. It does remind me of my tumultuous years in school. I was bullied relentlessly.
