seems like stryper michael sweet is one of the few from the 80s metal scene that still has it, and consistently makes great music , voice is still strong, looks young still, and can flat out rock the hell out of you with great live performances, Looks like drugs sex and rock n roll just ages you bad seen it on other metal bands. but stryper formula, God, good clean living and rock n roll keeps you young ,strong ,energetic and relevant for years to come.
metal church, man. they just got mike howe back and put out an album last spring that is like a continuation of when he left 25yrs ago. best singer they had and they rock just as hard. on Rat Pak records too, i might add. \m/
You are so right. It seems as if something brought Michael back to life and there is no stopping him. Stryper is some difficult music to retain in the brain for all these years. Then you add on all his solo music. Then you add on the incredible work with George Lynch. Then you add on this new stuff and it is simply mind blowing. Is there no limit to what this guitarists can accomplish? It appears that answer is no! I just saw them 5-6 month's ago and they killed it. Simply amazing playing ability!

Sadly most people who commented only spoke greatly of the sound, but said nothing about the message. Agreed David. My friend and I just preached a revival together and this is spot on with what we ministered on. The church is so removed from the lost and dying when they should be going and making disciples. Our gifts are shriveling and dying from lack of use. We have truly forgotten who we are.

Wow! I’m just so amazed at Michael Sweets writing and his musicianship. I bought Strypers Yellow and Black album back in the 80s. I gave it a listen but didn’t really get into it. I turned to Ozzy, Slayer, Exodus etc. letting that music run me. I even carved a upside down cross on my foreman. I’ve been astray for 25+ yrs turning my life over and began going to church in 07. I’m delving into The Bible and Stryper. Micheal Sweets lyrics are contagiously captivating. Thank you Jesus for Michael Sweet!

I sold that Strat to Ethan, kept it in pristine condition. It never sounded that good when I had it but it is clearly in good hands.
I delivered it to him personally, he's a real nice guy. So glad those guys are keeping 80s metal alive.

Wow, I'm getting old but this brings back memories. Michael is aging nicely. He's been blessed to still have that powerful beautiful voice. Saw Stryper back in the 80's when I was in high school. They toured with other non-Christian bands. How they tolerated tours like that (drugs, booze & chicks), I can't imagine. I still have the little Bible they threw out to us in the audience. God bless you guys for ministering to us metal heads!

This is a first for me to see Michael behind a real axe since his Jackson days. Mike you look and sound fantastic behind the black Gibson copy. It's about time. Oz did it with Bloodgood and looked just as at home as you did. Gibson's are often overlooked but the Ultimate of Americana's greatest's legacies. Carry on as you sometimes sing!

Even better reason to scold you and band mates for never giving Orville his due! Nothing like a true USA Gibson upon the Earth in my opinion except maybe a USA Jackson! Michael Sweet and Stryper are putting out some really great albums and as long as they continue to do so I'll continue buying them. I saw Stryper live in Jacksonville a month ago and they completely rocked! Oz Fox made sure to throw one of his picks to me at the end of the show which I thought was very cool of him to do! When they come back to Florida I'll definitely catch their show again!

I am not a Stryper disciple but even I have to admit that Fallen, No more hell to pay, Sweet & Lynch and now this is the best hard rock music released in the past 10 years. I mean it's not even close. The full album isn't out yet but judging from "Bizarre" and snippets I've heard, it could very well top anything released this year.......again, like the previous 3 releases I've mentioned.
My second favorite song on the album! First is 'One Sided War!! Over all best Stryper/ Sweet Album!!!!
