- A music video I made to the song "God" by Stryper. This instant classic is from their 2011 release "The Covering" and might be their best studio effort in the last 20 years. I think they should include it in their live set.

Rock N Roll baby! Coming out of the Mennonite church in 1985 ,I heard Stryper!! My parents forbid me to listen at first. After a year in Vegas with my parents in 1986, they eventually allowed me to listen to STRYPER!
Stryper is the best of all time in Music and Michael Sweet their is no voice like his. God has blessed them for over 30 years and is continuing to bless Michael and Robert and Oz and then adding Perry a couple of years ago band is strong and of course still ministring about Jesus Christ.
I love this song... I Love how hard the sound is.
The vocals, talent and musicianship of these guys is just excellent and raw compared to so many people then, and now. Awesome power/truth in the lyrics.

Yes. I'm not even religious, but I love the way Stryper weaves those epic narratives into their music. Good clean living has kept Sweet's voice angelic, too. It's somewhat rare to see a rock star who's not puking out his pancreas by age 50. I hope they'll continue to make music for us for a few more decades :)

I don't care what you believe in, but If you're going to call a song "God", it better be amazing. I think this song delivers. Epic in every way. Writing, Groove, Guitars, Killer Interlude, Vocal Harmonies...it's all there. Instantly one of my favorite rock tunes. \\m//

I've been a stryper fan since I was 14. I'm 44 now. Do the math. This is the most rocking band EVER!! Their message is positive. I think that's why they have had such longevity. Praise god. Stryper Roxx.

I Hated Stryper in the beginning. I let my hatred of Born Again Christians get in the way of my judgement. But after studying the Philosophy Of Jesus of Nazareth I have become more enlightened to what a real Christian is.Cheers to Stryper for enduring a world where Ridiculous Satanic Metal bands are praised and being evil is cool. All of the apostles of Christ except one suffered the most terrible of deaths for Christ, and the church was built upon their blood because now it bears a testiomony to the entire world. The Bible says that we will overcome the dragon by the blood of our testimony. If we are martyred and persecuted, we are winning anyway. We just have to be ready to die for Jesus if it comes down to it, because there is a real possibility that it will.

@duane rohan 7 years have passed. I wonder if the word "hatred" was what you meant? Hate is a very strong word. It is used way too much these days, in practice. Awesome, rocking song and homemade video. Two thumbs WAY UP!!! I've listened to this several times, and it doesn't get old,...because it's an instant classic. Hopefully, one day, the band will make a professional vid for this song (which is doubtful, especially in today's economy), but either way, it's all good. I saw them live in concert and met them backstage, got autographs, hung out with Robert (the visual timekeeper), and needless to say, these guys ARE the Real Deal, and #1 in my "book".

All Thumbs Up...Didn't realize that Stryper was still making albums. Need to find this one for my collection. I started listening to Stryper back from day one and have all of their "Records" including the Limited Edition "To Hell With The Devil".
Excellent work! This is one of my favorite Stryper songs, and it really gets me. Amazing lyrics, a stellar performance, and excellent vocals...I get chills when I think about this song as well as when I listen to it. The final chorus is perfect, and the ending is outstanding.

It is amazing at how God works. Even the haters of Christ, the Athiest, the Agnostic, and the satanist cannot stay away. Yes they like to post insults and negative things, but they are here. They are drawn to Christ and they do not even realize it. If they were true to their anti-christ convictions and beliefs, they would bot waste their time here trolling Christian based music. God wins! You are drawn to the Almighty Creator of the Universe. You cannot help yourselves, because no matter how much you think you hate Christ, you are here in this place hearing his Gospel being preached and like it or not, a seed has been planted in your hearts that Jesus is way to Salvation. Great job on making this video! I saw Stryper in 2003, its amazing how a band breaks up in 1992 and regroups about 10 years later and still makes an impact!

Awesome song and I saw them twice last year. I met them twice too at Meet and greet and they were so nice. They perform live very well and didn't hear any mistakes.

In my opinion this is probably Stryper's masterpiece. Great musicianship skills and the tempo change at the end was brilliant. Nothing to envy to bands like Metallica....at all.

Great job making that music video the whole traffic sequence reminds me that the world's flying by everybody doing their own thing, when it can change in a heartbeat. When everything can come crashing down as it did for me after I got bad accident. I blame God I asked him "why would you let this happen to me "I had the whole world ahead of me. Now I'm broken.
