Ingredients in grams: ~ 130g all purpose/plain flour ~ 35g cocoa powder ~ 1/4 tsp salt ~ 1tsp baking powder ~ 75g butter, melted ~ 100g granulated sugar ~ 100g golden brown sugar ~ 1 large egg + 1 large egg yolk ~ 1 tsp vanilla ~ 150g chocolate chips (reserve about 35g for topping the cookies later) Bake at 175°C (or gas mark 4) for 9 minutes :) Edit: i tried the recipe and it turned out great, here are some adjustments i made for anyone who wants to try it 💕 - i didnt have brown sugar, so instead i used about 160g of granulated sugar (because 200g is personally too much for me haha) and browned my butter (heating it in a pan until it turned brown and was deliciously aromatic) to try and make up for it and give a nutty flavour (highly recommend) - i used two small eggs as i didnt have any large ones, but it made the batter a bit too runny, so i ended up adding a few more tablespoons of flour and cocoa powder to get the consistency right again. - i also didnt have enough chocolate chips and used about 80g, but it was still enough for my taste :P -i baked them for about five minutes longer but that will probably vary with your oven so make sure you check yours after the 9 minutes! Overall though the recipe was amazing and the cookies turned out really fudgy and delicious :)
Thank you! I added 100g sugar + 60g dark honey to replace brown sugar and browned my butter as well. I also used white chocolate. Guys don't do that, it really needs dark bitter chocolate to balance the sweetness. Also, I didn't get cracks so thinking about raising the temperature to 190-200C the next time.
Kate thats great to hear! i didnt think of using honey. I used two trays and found that the one i put on the top rack in the oven had cracks while the middle rack didnt, so maybe that could be a factor? Not sure tho hahha.
If u r unsure if u want to make these cookies, don’t hesitate and make them because they are the best things i have EVER tasted! 💕. I rate them a 9.5 put of 10. I recommend adding around 160ish grams of sugar instead of 200 grams. Thanks Dina for the recipe!

Normally I bake cookies and a couple hours later it's like they hard as a brick. But these were soft even the next day😭❤️. Some adaptations I made:. • I only had brown sugar at home, so I just put a 1/2 a cup of sugar, cause 1 cup sugar was just too sweet (Will probably even out less sugar next time I bake) • I don't have Dutch cocoa had normal cocoa, so I that's what I used and then I added a table spoon of coffee to my cocoa measurement, cause I heard somewhere that using coffee can enhance the cocoa taste • I chilled my dough for about 1hr 30mins • Baked em for about 9 - 12 mins, after the 9mim mark I checked them, and I felt like they needed a few more minutes • Choc chops aren't easily accessible at the local grocery market where I stay, so I just cut up some chocolate slabs (the top deck and milk chocolate with nuts)

I made these cookies today and they were PERFECT. I only had normal cocoa and so I used that with soda instead of powder (half of the amount too). Not only were they super soft and delicious, but they were beautiful too, a great size and a nice crinkled look with chocolate chips peeking through. Amazing recipe!

Do you mean the dough was too sticky? This dough has a slight tackiness to it but it should still be easy to work with. If it is to sticky you can add a tablespoon at a time and see how it feels. Hope that helps :)

I made these a couple days ago, they were so freaking good!! They're not overly sweet, which means that I can eat loads of them without feeling sick, lol! I ended up having to bake them in the oven for a bit longer though, as they came out a tiny bit undercooked. I will definitely make these again!!

I followed the same recipe by adding 1/4th teaspoon baking soda as well and 1 teaspoon of instant coffee powder. Baked it for 12 mins for a slightly more crunchy edge and it was absolutely perfect! The middle was still super fluffy and gooey!

Yes you can, just excange the amount of cocoa with flour. So instead of 1cup flour and 1/3 cup cocoa, you can make 1 1/3 cup flour and cancel out the cocoa. Hope this helps! :)

These were delicious for sure! I did end up baking mine for 11 minutes and they are still soft and chewy on the inside! I wasn’t sure how many cookies these would make. This video shows one tray of cookies but I ended up with two trays and a total of 19 cookies approximately 2 1/2 inches diameter.

You can use anything else of choice for example nuts, white chocolate or you can even leave the chocolate out cause it's gonna still be mouthwatering and delicious😁

I made a more budget version with store brand natural cocoa and margarine and they still were amazing, big shout out to my boyfriend for whipping the sugar mixture so well.
My dough is a bit runny, i couldn’t form balls so I just scoped them. I followed the recipe exactly, there is something wrong but I dont know what it is. ( edit ) , they turned out greaaaaaaat I love them and I feel they are like brownies more but its super delicious, highly highly recommended. (Edit ) I did them again but this time I only used brown sugar because i noticed when I use white sugar it doesn’t dissolve I can feel that there is something crunchy

I made it and the butter got sticky that it was soo difficult to put it on the tray..so please tell me how to not make it sticky ..

I followed the same recipe by adding 1/4th teaspoon baking soda as well and 1 teaspoon of instant coffee powder. Baked it for 12 mins for a slightly more crunchy edge and it was absolutely perfect! The middle was still super fluffy and gooey!

I was super good at baking as a teen and now that I live at home again with an actual oven (unlike my ridiculous college dorm) I tried to get back into baking and i'm not sure if I lost my touch but literally every cookie recipe I tried came out wrong! I was about to call it quits until i found your recipe and oh my god, they came out amazing!! They don't look as good as your cookies (and also because i used the Splenda Brown sugar mix instead of real sugar) but they have an amazing texture and great flavor!!! I feel more confident now and also decided to keep this recipe as my go-to cookie recipe 💚 THANK YOU!!!

Yes you can, just excange the amount of cocoa with flour.
So instead of 1cup flour and 1/3 cup cocoa, you can make 1 1/3 cup flour and cancel out the cocoa.

These were delicious for sure! I did end up baking mine for 11 minutes and they are still soft and chewy on the inside! I wasn’t sure how many cookies these would make. This video shows one tray of cookies but I ended up with two trays and a total of 19 cookies approximately 2 1/2 inches diameter.

I made a more budget version with store brand natural cocoa and margarine and they still were amazing, big shout out to my boyfriend for whipping the sugar mixture so well.
My dough is a bit runny, i couldn’t form balls so I just scoped them. I followed the recipe exactly, there is something wrong but I dont know what it is. ( edit ) , they turned out greaaaaaaat I love them and I feel they are like brownies more but its super delicious, highly highly recommended. (Edit ) I did them again but this time I only used brown sugar because i noticed when I use white sugar it doesn’t dissolve I can feel that there is something crunchy
The chocolate cookie dough does seem a bit more runny than most cookies but they bake up to a gooey delicious texture! :)
