One doubt I have the spaco site tells .75 is stock setting. The doubt is while loosing the mixing screw will cause to air leak through it? Also any changes in jetex si carb tuning?
Thank you for trying to show us how to set the carburator right. Some talking would be nice for noobs to give us the general idea of what you are trying to achieve. What happens if you keep turning the idle screw excessively counter clock wise?
Hello. Thank you for the video. It doesn't seem to make any differences wether I screw in or out. Strangely it does noticeably slow the engine down once I screw in completely, but 1 second later it gets back top normal as if nothing had happened. I find the engine revolution faster that I remembered. I looked at the mixture screw but it looks fine so I am not sure what could be the problem? Would you have any thoughts?
Spin on Carb Vespa Screwin is Leaner and Unscrew Richer? whether Vespa is different from Honda's carb or motorcycle in general with screwin / richer and unscrew / leaner turns
I’ve got a DR kit on my Vespa and I’ve bought a new piston and rigs for it, but the new piston (without the rings) doesn’t fit the cylinder, I managed to get the first ring into the cylinder. However it needed a good hit with a rubber hammer. So I stopped right away and removed it as it was really tight. I don’t know what to do, buy a new cylinder or kit???
mista FreakMoPed gone with a polini 177 kit now anyway, I was going to upgrade later on down the line. Because im removing autolube, should I replace my carb to a non autolube version?
not messing up, but of course different BUT on the safe side, twice richer kindof: without cover = you need to set the carb richer with cover = it enrichens the setting additionally
actualy 360°, but maybe 180° for this video..just share..standrt engine play between 1,5-2 twist (360°), and tuning engine between 2-3 twist (360°)..CMIIW Mr @fmp
no, you cant set any normal setting for tuned engines even without telling which idle jet is used (!) can be 2 can be 4 turns. it need to be set in detail. thats why there is this guide
My scooter is in really bad condition, the throttle is not responsive and the engine will die while idle, but if I close the fuel tap/valve it becomes responsive. I am new to scooter, so i don't know everything about the carburetor
Inspired by your videos I became so popular among my neigbors :) It takes some effort to tune up all my four vespas (and Im only half way thru)
Chchch nice one! Like :D
Very helpful video!. Thanks for sharing.
ur welcome!

it will fall out ;) and i guess the engine stops (with howling first?) , as it needs the idle to idle
@@FreakMoPed8 Thank you. Can you confirm how many turns are required, (from totally closed) to start the set up from with a PX 125? 1 or 2 turns?

clean all jets with a needle or reamer. also try different carb to make sure you current carb is ok
@@FreakMoPed8 Thank you for the advice. May be I will go simple and buy a new carb.

yes. in leaner, out richer.

Perhaps only the rings ate too tight? Does the piston fit?
mista FreakMoPed No the piston doesn’t fit without the rings.
then send it back, its the wrong piston

no, u only need 2 change 2 things. ruclips.net/video/9Si0EdXJ2Tk/видео.html
1) close bottom hole 2) replace slide hook
how if the Rev react when i turn the screw, but doesnt die when I close it?
still. Ok 👍
leaving the airbox uncovered isnt that going to mess the adjustment up when you do put the cover back.

1 turn of Mixture screw you mean is 360 degree? Or 180?

@@ringkaishinoda why you use 180° to setting carb for this video? I just wanna know the reason, Sorry if my English is not good

Hi my scooter won't tick over without the choke on it doesn't matter what i do it wont tick over what can i do cheers
Sounds like false air...
mista FreakMoPed how would you sort that cheers
Hi what jetting have you got in this scooter please
tell me ur setup
mista FreakMoPed standard lml 125 reed valve engine with a revolver tsr exhaust
The jets are 52-140 idle jet and 160 air correct be4 atomizer 104 main jet
My scooter is in really bad condition, the throttle is not responsive and the engine will die while idle, but if I close the fuel tap/valve it becomes responsive. I am new to scooter, so i don't know everything about the carburetor
Set too rich, closing tap = less fuell = leaner
@@FreakMoPed8 is it necessary to tighten the Throttle slide screw (the screw on the carb filter) before configuring the idle jet?
