I've fabricated a lot of two stroke pipes too ranging from 30cc to 500cc engines. This video is enjoyable and so familiar. You really know what you are doing, especially in the end when you mentioned MOTA and that this pipe is just to give guidance on where to go next. That is 100% correct. You need to make many pipes to a specific application, usually 3 is enough. Thank you very much.

@@Vastapaine muuten mitä suosittelisit että tekisin ku vähä polttelis että vois yrittää tuommosen putken tehdä koulun teknisen tunneilla ku siellä välineet löytyy mutta onko järkeä ku kone on vakio am6 ja haluaisin ehkä enempi vääntävän ku piikikkään putken ku ei oo rahaa maksia sakkoja.
Oisko järkeä kasailla tuon tyylistä putkea vai vaan vakio putkesta kuristukset pois?

Great video, I wish more people who don't want to spend the money for a quality pipe would watch this to realize the amount of work involved. I was surprised to see that you TIg welded the pipe, I do also, and that you were using filler rod instead of just fusing the sections together. Thanks!
Thanks for the subtitles but even without them I would enjoy, nice work thanks. I have a set of chambers on my 76RD400 made by I believe Motto Carrara , they are hydroformed and now just getting the bike finished up, the look of hand craftsmanship is nice on yours .

@@Vastapaine Olen itse putkimies ja voin suositella Erdi-saksia (vasen / oikea / läpivienti) vivulla. tarkat, puhtaat leikkaukset ja käännöksen ansiosta myös paksumman materiaalin kanssa :-)
Bessey on kyllä laatumerkki, mutta hintaa setillä sen verran että kun nämä protomallit ovat melko harvassa, taidan pärjätä nykyisillä.

Are you AU or NZ ? . Not when you do 2 or more it becomes easier especially if you build a mock-up in card first ,with the transition cone, the broader the power and pipes can become a real science....I have factory issue specs for the little Bridgestone bikes the yanks used to race on the Aircraft Carriers, the rotary valve ones that Tas Tanaka Taka fitted OEM & I have one 100cc 2,000 original miles fitted OEM with a knobbly on the rear for a Trail/Farm bike & a copy of those. Spanish C forks. Scale those specs up or down in % of that pipes cones depending on CC or C.I...want a copy ? If I can find them ?. Trev NZ

And fusion welded it at together with a gas torch ...no affordable fancy mig/Tig welders in the mid 1970's...but good effort for those who don't know but those Jigs could cost the Ave guy a small fortune at at general Engineers, you could make the bucks/jigs out of turned hardwood, much cheaper for the Ave guy doing a couple.Thanks T

On se hieno homma että osaat putkia näin hyvin valmistaa. Mielenkiintoista katseltavaa. Yksi asia on ainakin satavarma... koskaan en ala itse putkia tekemään. Siitä nyt ei tulisi lasta eikä paskaa 😉. Maksan mieluummin että osaava tekijä (esim. sinä) teet mittatilauksena putken niin tulee laadukas putki.

Kyllä, näyttäisi. Mutta kun ei itselle ole sillä ulkonäöllä niin merkitystä niin on jäänyt tekemättä. Tosin ehkä yksi näyttelymopo olisi hyvä olla tallissa🤔

Voi tehdä pullistamalla, ongelmaksi vain muodostuu putken venyminen pullistaessa. 150bar oli alkukäyrälle painetta.
Helpottaisiko jos paineistettuna lämmittäisi pillillä kohtia johon tarvitsisi lisää pyöreyttä?

Great video. I've only hydro formed a header once and it was with a plumbers pump. After seeing this I'm keen to have another go with a pressure washer as yours looked to form a bit easier. What was the max pressure? I couldn't quite see.

Hi how thick this metal plate?
Why not spring mounted flange? Stacked together and then springs hooked in that holds it in place?
With that I'd need extra bracket to hold pipe in position and PV50 frame does not have place for it.
