I am 32 years old.
I live in a poor mountainous area of Vietnam.
From a young age, I had to work hard to help my parents.
Difficult life is always around, I work and learn everything from my grandparents and the old people in the village.
Gradually, I mastered the skills.
5 years ago, I decided to live the challenge.
Determined to learn about the primitive way of life, I chose to live in the wilderness, alone.
Where there's no technology and forcing yourself to pass, it feels great!

You have a perfectly good water supply at your water wheel right next to your house. You could have put the generator there and saved yourself hrs of work.

A fantastic job! If I may give you some advice, cover the power generator (for example with a small roof or shelter), to prevent rainwater from reaching the top and the wire contacts. In this way you prolong its life, avoid the formation of rust and prevent short circuits. =)

If that bamboo is tangled high up then it could be very dangerous to cut once you cut the bottom. If it suddenly comes loose it could fall on you. Take great care. Plus I can see why you needed another person there. Take care.

But I think it was the part, when I saw you using the screwdriver you made to hook the wire up to a new device that had never been on your farm, electricity . For a small generator like you have, you should put it closer to your house. I suggest near the water wheel, the video at 21:37 appears to show more than enough water flow there to run the generator. With the type of turbine that is on the generator, you do not need a lot of head height. You will get more benifit from having the turbine more submerged, so that air does not get sucked into it. The other benefit to having the generator nearby is you can get to it quickly if there's a problem, you will not have as much voltage drop from the distance, and will not have to walk as far to turn it on and off or clean the leaves out of it.
This is actually 100% good advice. Generator should be much closer, where you can control it. And you need some sort of power batery to store and level the power level.
@@relaxandplay You really don't even need a battery for what he's doing. It wouldn't work without a charger and inverter anyways, because everything in Vietnam is on 220v. Also, dude's selling chickens/veggies for cash to buy what he can and not supplementing it with his youtube funds. That would cost a lot more money. This channel has turned into more of a challenge/how to come up in the world when all you've got is a random plot of land and a creek/river nearby...

I think you will have to increase the water flow to the pond to maintain the volume of water needed to keep your generator

I think that he does this in order to use the pond as a reservoir. During the dry season when there isn't much rain and water flow is low, he can still release water during the night and slowly build it back up during the day.

Переделай весь этот Апарат , катушка пусть будет как она и есть но винт должен быть внизу трубы . А значит нужно удлинить винтовой вал . Давление воды в трубе будет давать больше оборотов а значит нужна ещё одна катушка и можно подключить ещё 5-7 лампочки. Но нужно опустить винт ниже по трубе увеличив при этом винтовой вал. Возьми в пример гидроэлектростанцый турбины там стоят ниже уровня воды .

Hello Duong! How exciting that you will be able to generate your own electricity. I am surprised that you went to the spillway of the lake with your generator.. Did you consider locating the generator next to your water wheel? You seem to have lots of water above the water wheel based on old videos. I'm concerned that running electrical wires the long distance from the spillway to your home will cause problems. First, depending on the electricity your are generating (AC or DC) you may have a significant voltage drop due to the long wire run from generator to light bulbs. And second, you run the risk of electrocution with the long unsupported span across the lake. THat is a long distance to rely only on the strength of the wire to be self supporting. You do not want your little girls (or anyone, for that matter) to be exposed to live wires. Locating your generator by the water wheel gives you a very short run from generator to house (very efficient) that you can easily string on poles or trees. Second, bringing additional water to the generator will increase the flow of water through your lake. making a healthier habitat for your fish. So that is my suggestion, pipe more water to your distribution box at the water wheel and locate your generator near the waterwheel so the water power can be piped directly from the distribution box to the turbine. 😊
