That's probably good that you did that and helped more water flow out of that other pond area. I think it would be a really good idea if you ran some kind of permanent water line flowing over to your Pig Pen where you kept your pigs so you'd never have to get them water and the water would always be flowing into a drinking tub that you could make and flowing out of it somewhere out of the way. It will help keep them cool too if you did it in a way that the Pigs could have their own showers. Like making a concrete floor area with concrete drinking water tub for them with the water line above flowing over that and they could stand under the water for showers whenever they wanted.

Duong, harvest (dredge) the pond next time you drain/lower the water. The silt(fishpoo) on the bottom of the pond will work great as fertilizer. Many minerals settle out of the water in your pond also. It is a valuable resource that you can capture and use if you want.

OMG!! I didn't know how much I missed you until this video!! First, your sense of wonderment and truly loving what you do shine so brightly it's contagious!! Then your care of your garden, pets, and property is remarkable!! ❤ Your attention to detail is a lesson most of us could aspire to. I was thrilled at how much food was actually in your pigs' food, and not just mostly water. Very nice!! I chuckled and laughed during your fishing expedition!!! Lol!!! First their jumping all around you, then you're getting hit in the face with a fish tail!! What was your reaction?? Sheer triumph and joy!!! You are one in a gazillion, my friend and I adore and respect you so much. Never, I say NEVER stop being who you are!! If ever I could have a day to spend with someone, it would be you and your family. KUDOS!!! ❤🥰🤗

I bet it also felt amazing to clean out your big pond , there must have been so much rotting leaves and plant material from the fish food making the water so green , I cannot wait to see the results of the new addition as the pond fills up 😊
Sending love to you and your family duong 😊

It might be a good idea to put some shallow water plants in the small pond so when the fish go to spawn, the small fish and eggs will have a place to hide, like when you made a spawn area for them the last time. 🐟 👍

If you want the water to stay more clear you could add a layer of gravel to the bottom of the pond. You would need to move A LOT of gravel though.
I’d suggest improving the path down to the river to make it easier to transport sand and gravel before.

I am pretty sure that dried leaves hold a ton of value for the carp and pigs.

It's interesting to see the mechanics of your pond again. The weir is an impressive piece of engineering.
Seeing how muddy the water is when it is so low, I'm curious if you have ever considered putting gravel or sand on the bottom of the pond. I am not an expert so I could be wrong but i would think sand or gravel would help keep the water clear like in the river.
It's just a thought. Your pond and what you have done with the fish is very impressive
