Although Covent Garden to Leicester Square is the shortest distance between 2 stations on the Underground, I am sure Charing Cross to Embankment easily takes 2nd place.

Bank/Monument, Cannon Street and Mansion House on the District and Circle lines are pretty short too. Probably South Ealing to Northfields as well.
