This brings back fond memories of living in London 2004-2007 (American student studying at King's College London). I rode the Piccadilly line most often. Russell Square was my local tube station. On many a Saturday I would take the Piccadilly line out to Hatton Cross, get off there, and go plane spotting at Heathrow (a favourite spot for that was Myrtle Avenue). On weekdays I would take Piccadilly to King's Cross-St. Pancras and change to Northern to go to London Bridge for my classes at the Guy's Hospital campus of KCL.

a couple of fond memories in here. we lived in arnos grove in the early 1960's. just as you were coming into the arnos grove station, i could pick out the tennis courts of arnos grove park where my parents used to play tennis. there was even a public toilet under the viaduct for the park. it was literally a "spend a penny" back in those days! we lived just a few houses away from the park with the viaduct visible from our back garden

At 1:05:31 if you look closely there are some platforms. That used to be a tube station but I think shutted in the 1930s or 50s. It was called Osterley & Spring Grove i think.

My great grandfather who was a Jew from Poland moved here in 1898 and used York Road it was his local station from 1920 till its closure in 1932. I have a picture of the platforms he took on its final day open he was sad the family moved to the east end soon after. You can see the sign on wall clearly saying this station to close permanently from Monday.

I recalled when I rode the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow back in the early 1980s, the Heathrow Terminals 1, 2 and 3 station used to be called Heathrow Central when it was the only station serving the airport. Terminals 4 and 5 were nonexistent back then. While this message may be a few years late and if you haven't started driving and purchased a car already, that decision is entirely up to you. If you have that desire to drive, then please do so.

Very nice to travel on the underground and hear the recorder voice of the woman. But very sad that Britain will leave EU as they didnt say the truth to peaple and now they dissapear those who want to leave. And if you watch the news ,the deference in parliament are only 34 votes those who want to leave. I like UK since i was a child. Grandpas/mas uncles ,nephiews ,nieces ,friends live there. God Save us all.
