Does Rusty still have plans to do skids for the 2dr JK? Also still waiting on the rocker armor with kicker tube for my JK. I thought he was going to make those so I've been holding off. Heck, If he gets both of those done I'll get those ordered and the armorlite.
With them being so far behind in production I doubt it's a priority at the moment. Email them and let them know your interested so they are aware of your desires.
Na, you can spin it slow to make sure it starts correctly. If it doesn't, then back it out and hit it with a tap. Luckily these bolts start really easy
Cool, no clue who you spoke with but I just talked to rusty himself. They for the short term will be offering them raw until the coaters can catch up. If you want coated and are will to wait, that's available as well. Thanks
I just ordered the Rusty's skid plate. This video shows and your year old "Rusty's Skid plate review vs metal cloak" talks about e-coating. But Rusty's web page states "ships as raw metal" Which is it?
It is currently shipped raw due to production lead times being so high and e coating taking forever. If you are not in a rush and want it to come e coated they can and will still do that but you will want to call your order in or order it through a dealer like us.
@@AllProAutoOffroad Talked to Rusty. takes an extra 4 weeks. He was going to see if he has the engine and transfer case cover in his warehouse and ship those. I told Rusty that would be awesome and I can wait for the other pieces.
My 392 skids get delivered this Saturday. Going to install them then leave for EJS 2023 👍🏻.
Awesome amount of skid plates, thanks for sharing.

OMG; starting a bolt with an air Impact wrench. You are the guy I follow behind, swearing and cursing, trying to put a cross threaded bolt back in.

I really want to get this skid system because everything else on my JL is from Rusty’s. My only problem is that he doesn’t ecoat it anymore
Your information is incorrect. I just called Rusty's cell number to verify that his skids are in fact e coated.
I spoke with them on Friday and was told they don’t do that anymore. Thank you

It's nice when people can be reasonable and work together! I know you will be happy!
