- Most people who FAIL PARKING must fix their reversing posture to pass a driving test. Do you sink in the seat when reversing? Does it seem that your car mirrors simply don't do the job? Do you feel you can't see much while reversing a car? If so, try these simple fixes and pass your driving test. Combine the view of all the mirrors, camera (if you have one) and all available windows in your car when you apply this adjustment to your posture. You will notice that your field of view is more adequate, allowing you to reverse park under any level of difficulty.

I also heard u don’t use your reverse camera until your better at driving and a nice tip
Thank you so much for always sharing your driving knowledge
Thanks for all your great videos, they are super helpful. During the driving test, if you are waiting at red traffic lights is it ok to take your hands off the steering wheel and put them on your lap (as a way of giving your arms a rest) until the lights turn green? Or would you get marked down for this?
You are most welcome. Unfortunately they fail for taking both hands off steering wheel at any point in the test. So, keep at least one hand on it even when standing at the lights. Some reasonable assessors will only take points or pretend they didn't see it while the majority will automatically fail. You can rest your arms while holding the steering wheel, just don't cramp up, don't hold it too tight.
What happens if you accidentally take both hands off the steering wheel for a second when reversing, is that automatic fail? Thanks
Yes. Unfortunately they fail for taking both hands off the steering wheel, even when you standing at the traffic lights
@@DrivingSchoolWA I thought u can take one hand off the wheel to just to reverse?
@@moopa4117 they're talking about taking both hands off the wheel either reversing and on a traffic stop being a automatic fail. Having one hand on the steering wheel for both scenarios should be fine
Today , I got failed due to one hand use while reversing.
Depend on instructors..
Hi good tip BUT you crossed your arms when turning the steering wheel please explain 🤣
If you cross it to this extent it's pefectly fine in the driving test
Hi Steve , i just want to know, when doing parking either way, reverse or forward, is it ok to at least be in the bay, does it really matter, if there's gap on one side , cause sometimes the bay is wide and the car is small, i do enter the bay properly, but endup of correcting specially when i'm with my instructor, and i'm doing pda in her car. Infact, when i use my partner's car, i dont have to correct cause it's a big car and that's the reason i get stess when im been ask to corect it. Do you think its fine as long as its in the bay. Help me please how they gonna judge that.
They look at few aspects of low speed manouevres. I could be more specific if you had a lesson with me. The best advice I can give you here is: do it good and observe well when reverse parking. You shouldn't leave it on an angle
Lol
