- Go get your sketchbook and paint along with me. This is my favorite way to relax and have a fun, stress free way to make art and learn new painting techniques. I am completing two full page spreads with acrylic paint. This is a great way to paint when you don't know what to paint or you just want to have fun with paint. I had a lot of fun with this and I hope you enjoy watching the full process.

I love your vibe! You seem like someone I would enjoy spending a day painting with! Cows 2, 3, and 8 are my favorite!! It was super satisfying how you just painted cow 8’s ears in a stroke lol the frog and flowers were so cute too!

I stumbled across your site and loved this video. Both paintings were so refreshing and fun - and great! It is so good to see an artist simply having fun and using your imagination. Fearless - what we need to see more of to help us overcome the fear of messing up. Thanks. (I liked cow 8, love the frog and flowers too).

Hi Heather! Loved your cows. I'm sorry if you've been asked, or even mentioned this before, but the pallette that you scraped off, what is that please? New sub here x Nell.
Thank you so much! The palette I use is a glass palette with a natural grey undertone. I have an amazon affiliate link in the description of the video. You can also use an old glass picture frame but you must be more careful when using it because the glass will not be as strong and could break more easily. I hope that helps. 😊👍

I haven’t tried acrylic gouache but I would think it would work the same way. Just be sure to spray it with water first to loosen up the acrylic and then it scrapes off pretty easily. I used an old picture frame for months before upgrading to this stronger tempered glass palette. You just have to be careful not to apply too much pressure. I do prefer the stronger tempered glass palette though.
