I've been told that by therapists and normies, whenever I've brought up my past of being bullied in school and in the workplace. That I might've done something to 'deserve' it. It's really sickening and messed up. How society thinks that the bullied deserve their bullying. People make me sick.
Unless you were bullying people yourself, none of the reasons Normies give for “deserving” mistreatment are ever valid. It’s nearly always a case of you just being different, being an outcast, or having a weird vibe, dressing weirdly, being ugly etc.
Ive been saying "you get what you're made for" since I went black pill at 23. Im 31 now and it has never been inaccurate. You must be built better to get better. Genetic Determinism 101
Even the winners of the genetic lottery get gradually eaten away by life. It’s arguable that there is no real ‘winning’ the game of being a human being. But there are ways of losing that are *far* worse than others. For many, it never even began.
To be fair those of us born with deficiencies that prevent us from reaching success can improve in other areas. Eg; I'm frail from birth, I get sick easily, I've been ravaged by a few flus and bad colds, pneumonia is common for me. But I've seen it in person, especially when someone on the high end of the 'looks' scale meets someone on the low end of the 'looks' scale, the way a human can regard another human as if it were lower than an animal to be eaten, instead you're to be reviled or pitied. We are in the "Pretty ones" phase of the mouse experiment lads, be strong, work on your core strength and stamina, learn good skills like how to tend food producing plants, how to hunt or clean kills, anything that somehow supports survival is worthy of learning no matter how minor it might seem, remember that when the lights go out, ANY creature comforts you can produce for others are a valuable asset to you and others.
You have to build yourself to be stronger and better though - that’s the key element That black pill is missing.. genetics are very important but everyone can improve quite a bit on what they have
@@brianmeen2158 genetics also determine success in improvement attempts... My genetics mean I hit a plateau at a much lower level than a point where normal people just keep improving. People claim a plateau is something you can rise above with persistence or some other strategy, but for me it's either so can barely maintain, or else I go out of practice and literally forget and lose whatever I learned
Just wait til the establishment goes full totalitarian.. and corporate governance becomes standard.. then the masses will understand what a serf is. It will be made abundantly clear to all that you have no say then.
Every movie, book, song, invention or work of art before it was actually created could at first simply been called an "illusion" in someone's mind. However, through one's own efforts upon the world, a so-called "illusion" can be made reality. This is the power of the human mind, and that's no illusion. If you work at it, you can gain some free will over yourself.
Free will question is functionally irrelevant. Provides no motivational significance: you will either act using free will or act the exact same way because you have no choice but to do so. Also not testable. Midwit says “you couldn’t have done something other than what you did” and declares science has disproved free will. But the past cannot be repeated under controlled conditions to prove this. Therefore, free will is a gay speculative argument for people with motivated reasoning (such as saying free will exists to prove Jebus real, or saying it doesn’t exist to prove sending upstanding basketball enthusiasts to prison is le bad).
"You get what you deserve" is sometimes just really one of those lines people use to be an a-hole basically to other unfortunate people they dont like.
Most people are just surviving at this dark society. I never ask to find out about the doomerlifestyle. I was just being alone really really hurts me all I wanted is some friends and a relationship.
Deserve is probably the wrong word, or at least the wrong connotation; What's happened, happening, and going to happen were always going to play out that way. Agency is narrative most people tell themselves selves to justify success and punishment. I think the stoics had it right, a radical acceptance of your life and situation is all we can do. Alea iacta est Ergo amor fati
I had this thought a couple months ago about someone at my school that everyone liked but i resented a bit. He was the popular kid who the world basically revolved around. He wasn't a bad person but there was just this aura of arrogance that this is how the world should work. Everything was about making his life better without him having to really go out of the way for anyone else. I used to think it was jealousy but there were other individuals who were popular in other groups and i felt happy for them. It's just that inability to recognise that you're being treated significantly better for absolutely zero input that put me on edge around him. But what i disliked the most was seeing the amount of decent people warp their personalities to become worse version of themselves while they were around him. It was like everyone adopted a 2nd personality while around him to just bless his presence. It's not his fault, but I think back and find myself feeling as disgusted by the situation as I do today.
Seen many instances of that myself. And once you're an adult in the workplace, you see that happening all the time with bosses or superiors: all the employees suddenly take a different tone, like a 2nd personality as you describe. I suppose that popular kid in your tale might have had rich parents or perhaps incredibly good looks or at least was good friends with powerful people. In any case, it truly is disgusting, to renounce yourself to such degree just to climb a social ladder/run the rat race. The worst of it all? It works, if you can stomach the falsity of it all, that is.
I don’t think it’s genetics. I think it’s trauma that causes people not to be able to delay gratification. A brain with cortical malformation can be problematic. If you choose the wrong family to be born in , your brain will be fried. Way before you’re out of the womb. If mom has bpd or if she is being abused while pregnant your brain is in danger of developing ADHD. Or other brain problems that may cause you to be impulsive. And let’s not forget how trauma can be passed down through generation making it look like it’s genetics . The brain is not the only thing that could be damaged. Ultimately, I believe it’s all luck. I don’t think free will exist. It’s not like you can choose the right family or control the way your brain develops. It’s sort of makes me feel like successful people suffer from severe survivorship bias. And the unsuccessful are overly punished for things they’re not able to control.
Correct. A young child’s body stops producing and metabolizing “feel good” chemicals if they live in an unsafe environment. We shouldn’t act surprised when these people become addicts; we should see it coming and try to circumvent it in the first place.
Luck isn’t real. Chaotic happenstance is. You’re commonly stuck with what you’ve got. Could be good, could be be bad. There is fluctuation with both. Ultimately only one thing is a certainty in the universe: change.
We may be strangers on the internet, but I believe your content is thought provoking, has offered me a whole new perspective on life, and also brings some insight into the questions I'll ask myself day-to-day. So when it comes to your channel and community, you got what you deserved.
There is one addiction which no one talks about. Food addiction. The gene for addiction has always existed but was not often activated in respect of food until 40 or 50 years ago. Today 60% of people are overweight or obese where in the past this was far smaller. My school photos show maybe one fat kid in class in the 1960s (I'm a baby boomer) where today 1/2 of kids are overweight. The gene pool has not changed. Life style has. Genes may load the gun but life style pulls the trigger. So what was the trigger? The discovery of fructose found in fruit which is sweet. Food technologists discovered that fructose suppresses the release of leptin which tells us we are full. Since then it has been added to almost all foods and voila, we have an obesity epidemic and a T2 diabetes epidemic and liver disease and increasing cancer rates. In fact in some countries life expectancy is now declining, even before covid. The knowledge of the interaction between fructose and leptin could have been used by food technologists and the food processing companies they work for to improve public health. Instead it was weaponised to turn food into an addictive drug and for food companies to become drug pushers. Who deserved to get fat? The consumers kept in the dark and hooked on a drug? Are feed lot cattle to blame for becoming sick of the food they are fed? Or are consumers now being feed like lot animals, fatten up for corporate profit? Who has the agency and who doesn't?
@@chugjugs6081 From your logic one might conclude that the geese feed high carbs and developing non alcoholic disease which is called foie gras but actually identical to human non alcoholic disease that the geese can be blamed. I had a discussion similar to this with a couple of my engineering colleagues, who I believe are pretty intellectual. They expressed that pretty much anyone could become an engineer if they tried hard enough, and I pointed out that it seemed like they probably hadn't actually encountered many people with a low level of reasoning skills, low math abillity, low abillity to mentally picture 3D objects, etc. At first they thought my view was very harsh, but I explained how this is actually the most compassionate viewpoint, because then people couldn't necessarily praise or judge others for their lot in life becaise most of it is a roll of the dice. It didn't seem to sit well with them but they may change their minds with enough evidence.
TFM made that same observation. He was the smartest student in his class then moved to a better school district. Realized that he was just a big fish in a small pond. Became humbled when he has to relearn all of his school math reading level.
If someone is trying really hard (in their own perceived view) & not seeing any positive results at all in learning the said subject (in this case engineering) then they won't continue to try. Eventually they'll move on to something else they do see positive results in.
The people who fare best are those who can maintain composure when life throws them an unexpected gut punch. Believing that there is some sort of order to the universe does not aid this ability.
But here is the rub: the RNG of life favours assholes because they can go for opportunities without having to worry about whose toes they step on. It is a matter of traditional warfare vs guerrilla warfare.
I'm not sure about THIS one. Seems like good people get screwed out of what they deserve. Bad people get MORE than they deserve because they are the ones who screwed over the good folks.
You have to be ruthless to function in this world. That's why narcissists and psychopaths gets the leeway cause there is no moral obligation to follow, just a theater scene to make people feel good and reap the gold afterwards..
All you can really do in life is make the best of the hand of cards you've been dealt. Even if you've been unlucky, consider yourself fortunate-every single one of us in the Western world lives better than kings did 200 years ago. Make it your mission to end the misery with you. If you don't, your bad hand might be dealt to your children. Ending the cycle can give you purpose and pride. It certainly did for me.
Make the best of the hand you've been dealt, sure... _but,_ wherever possible, don't be afraid to cheat. Life isn't going to play fair, hence you have no obligation to do so... least, that's how I see it.
The "You get what you deserve" quote has been used as a negative for so long most people can't hear it in its basic form. I prefer to use "You get what you earn" or "You get what you pay for". Another quote comes to mind, think it was by Richard Feynman: "Knowledge is not free. You have to pay attention." Always loved that one.
The psychological delusion is so convincing and central to our experience that despite all the physical evidence, they just keep believing theres some anthropomorphic ghost behind everything
A reasonable person would acknowledge circumstances beyond someone's control where they don't necessarily "deserve" a randomly cruel or unjust outcome - but as you said - "Most of the time, people do get what they deserve." ... ie). Cause and effect.

I believe that you are incredible man! I don't know anything about you really, alas your words moved me as I imagine they have moved plenty. Despite all of this, we are in this world together. May pure bliss find you in your time of need. PEACE🎉🎉🎉
People who say "You get what you deserve" in the usual sense make two assumptions: firstly, that there is a moral framework by which you can determine whether a person deserves everything they got if you knew everything they did, and secondly, that reality just so happens to align with that moral framework perfectly. How convinient
I think they reep what they sow when alone with their thoughts, maybe for a second before Justifying their actions, over and over again. They are naturally filled with self hatred. I'd rather be the survivor and take the crap I dealt with than be them for a minute.
The opposite attitude is being a victim. At least admitting that you are responsible to some degree gives you the ability to self-reflect. You put yourself in these situations to some degree. You keep getting the same results because you keep repeating the same events. Our insanity is partly caused by our inability to change course.
Capitalism is judging fair everyone’s capacity to generate value and thus adequate pay check. Poverty is nothing but lack of motivation to get better and learn more complex skills
@@love__and__hope__ This is a very fallacious line of reasoning. Most people fall into the category of average. Low IQ individuals with cognitive deficiencies completely outside of their control cannot simply get better and learn more complex skills no matter what they do or how hard they try. Even if everyone did exactly what you describe until they were blue in the face, you would still have people living in poverty at the bottom; and I'd really prefer people stop pushing the status quo and just call a spade a spade. The "providence" of one's fate must be one of the first and most important rationalization of inequality, at least anthropologically. Everything, every social interaction or dynamic is just an effort to confirm each's position in a hierarchy.
thats smart. if u envison us as earlier primates before language, all we would do to communicate was with grunts and gestures. back then that is all it took to define roles. but as we evolved environmental pressures required advancement in communication. So like u said, in essence every single interaction is genetic filtering in that people get assigned their status/worth which affects the likelihood of reproducing. nowadays, we use words so its easy to get lost in the sauce of modern constructions and belief systems all based off finding the right words to articulate delusions, which is basically the whole society. and i agree that its nothing more than that because even if someone made the argument that we interact to have fun, banter, laugh, it still supports what your saying. wits and charisma are signs of genetic health because it means dominance over others. it means a bigger tribe due to ppl liking u, which means more ppl gaurding the territory from wild predators, and so on. its no different than deers competing in the rut. its the same exact premise, but it manifests in not only physical power like deer but in smarts and social ability and looks. we are just a hyperbolic example of animals. everything animal about us is exaggerated. hence why we have nukes lol.

I personally believe in karma. I get bad karma for all the crap I done, but, sometimes, I get good karma for the good I did and avoiding serious trouble. Some of the people in my life, however, get karma for their treatment towards me.
I don't buy karma. It is a cope, a self affirming belief, where when something bad happens to a bad person it's karma, but when nothing happens, then it's just supposedly going to happen later down the road. It's somewhat impressive to me how many people hold some sort of religious beliefs when i ask them about it. For me, it's impossible. I do not see any sort of religion or spirituality as possibly being real, and never will.
Karma is not only a cope but simplified and misunderstood bs by religiously illiterate zoomers who can't grasp anything beyond "do good = good, do bad = bad".
I’ve told my self this many times and it is a cope but when I say it the “you”in the “you get what you deserve” statement is more a like a broader term. Like the “you” is not just me as an individual but me that is a product of all the things that led up to and including me. I think that this is a more correct way to view the statement. I am not responsible for the “sins of the past” as an individual but it is my turn to bear the weight of all the things that were required beforehand to produce “me” the individual. I’m interested to see if anyone else thinks this is at least reasonable.
I rejected love according to them as I hate money and those offering money to me. I snarl at such offers and shit on people who do this crap knowing it's about their egos needing to be fed and how evil they can get when you expose them as narcs and bigots as rich famous philanthropists.
People will fight tooth and nail for their belief in free will. The truth that we're all puppets imagining ourselves as puppeteers is overwhelming to the ego. For those who made it, this means that you don't deserve to have more than anyone else. For those who didn't make it, this means that there's no way out and this result was predetermined. You were born to suffer or inflict suffering and believe in your own awesomeness.
If only I won the lotto.. wouldn’t have to worry about a single thing nor would I make it known or obvious. Id live a basic life to the point where I’d appear as if I’m barely getting by. And just play my Nintendo switch all day, eat & go to the gym.

You deserve what you get, when what your getting is the consequences of your own actions. If you can't or are unwilling to say that a person deserves to feel the consequences of their own actions, then the word has no meaning. It begs the question though, just how much of our lives are determined by our own actions and perhaps inactions? Probably a lot more than most are comfortable admitting. I think we all know the real issue is responsibility. There are those who accept it, and those who reject it. Which one will you be?

You must be built better to get better. Genetic Determinism 101
Yup
You have to build yourself to be stronger and better though - that’s the key element
That black pill is missing.. genetics are very important but everyone can improve quite a bit on what they have
@@brianmeen2158 genetics also determine success in improvement attempts... My genetics mean I hit a plateau at a much lower level than a point where normal people just keep improving. People claim a plateau is something you can rise above with persistence or some other strategy, but for me it's either so can barely maintain, or else I go out of practice and literally forget and lose whatever I learned
Free will is an illusion
Just like the WEF - it’s magical and doesn’t exist. No agenda here. 🤡
Philosophy engineer covered this.
We have functioning definitions of free will.
“You’re stuck with what you have” neatly sums it up.

Alea iacta est
Ergo amor fati
This is what simping is and how cults are formed.

You are in a profound state of denial about the nature of existence. Look up "just world fallacy".
I tend to see Karma as a force of nature not a belief.
I’d simply wake up everyday with joy, brew my coffee & sip on it as I sit outside on the front porch relishing on the idea of not handing out my time to a company or report to someone. And just play my Nintendo switch all day, eat & go to the gym.
From a christian pov there is such a thing as 'predestination', this may relate in a sense, however for me, God and divine/providence still has the final say over a persons fate (if we do our part* - whether for this life or the next - justice or reward - vengeance if you want to call it that)
Life is not always easy even for those blessed by God Himself🙏 Video: A KNIGHT'S TALE - A man can change his stars*💙
It's Karma, baby!
Fantasy Equality....
When I hear about getting what they deserve, I just dream about being Joker and meeting Murray Franklin.
An atheist shouldn’t believe in luck.
I think most things in life is based on what you can attain and get away with.
Karma is more widely believed
Deserves got nothing to do with it.
Joker moment
How about another joke, Murray?
That was my favorite movie of all time. The last time I felt like I could sympathize so much, it was Fight Club.
I'm overdosing on black pills so far this year , and every year before that. Something is gotta give.
.001 percent of men can bench 315. .075% can bench 225. Go to the gym and be a top 1%er
@@chugjugs6081 For what reason? Strange gym cope
@@adamg6711 Just something to do that improves life while you wait to die. Why not try to reach one's own genetic potential?
@@chugjugs6081 Cool if you think it is fun more power to you. But telling random men on the internet this cope under b pill videos is weird.
I often joke about how many men just want to speedrun life.
i have worked for almost 45 years I own 3 homes , have metal stacked to the roof gold silver and around 250,000 dollars in the bank. Do I have college ? w years , how did I make my living ? by becoming a mast carpenter /wielder/ and plumber. I hate paperwork as I see work that makes more work which is why I have lawyers.
