    Texas shouldn't be on this list. That's where all the people in the declining states are moving to because it's one of the most prosperous states.

      Technically a majority of the 50 states are collapsing if you look at Budget, Inflation, housing, and job reports., and the migrant crisis I know this because I've been lived all throughout Texas for the past 15 years.

      Businesses are moving to Texas as fast as Uhaul can get them there. Population is growing like crazy. I think his criteria was flawed.

      @@T.R.75 Every state is going downhill but Texas is doing very well compared to most others. There is a huge influx of businesses moving here due to our laws being business friendly. Our only problem is people from those states are moving here and voting for the same policies that ruined their states. I look forward to the country collapsing so Texas can go back to being an independent country and deport these californians. It's funny watching outsiders in denial.

    It is terrible to live in the city.

    Pretty sure Florida should be on this list. Housing is skyrocketing, property tax is through the roof, insurance is unaffordable if even available, and wages are no match for Florida's inflation rate that is among the highest in the nation..
    I still enjoy Florida, but it isn't what it used to be...

      @@TravelUtopia23 No, but I lived many years and went to school there. My daughter was born in Houston. Texas may be suffering growth issues, but I take exception to calling it collapsing. I'm from Illinois originally and can't take any exception to anything you said on that!

All property tax payers got a tax refund this year of $1000 (first time in at least 25 years) because of the state's budget surplus. Having said that keep Texas on the list. We need to keep lefties leaving failed blue states out of this state.

      Stop voting democrat. They ruin everything they run. Our dementia patient killed West Virginia by killing our energy production. Every other state here has been under Democrat rule for over half a century. They have become communists. Move from these states and remember what caused you to leave

      It's cause last month The Governor’s infrastructure efforts are helping the state take full advantage of an unprecedented $180 billion in state, local, and federal infrastructure funds over the next ten years. Things are slowly improving but things are still bad in terms of jobs, etc,

    Considering you had this data since you made this video, you bias is showing. California's population grew in 2023, halting 3 years of decline. Yes, it's expensive and I don't blame people for leaving, but many are actually moving back. Facts matter!
