To me, seltos is a feature rich 2018 Creta with a different front bumper and a kia logo on it....
+ I had a strong feel that after some days they will fade out 5 seater creta and bring 7seater creta and let kia dominate that market...

Seltos has a very young and energetic looks while Creta looks matured and sturdy
Seltos it is for me. Design of the creta is a deal breaker. Everything else in it is fine.
Hated it in the starting. But the design grows on you.
Design in videos looks bad of creta , but I saw in real world in showroom it looks much better and even heighty and larger than seltos in front of a naked eye , ps - just don’t see it in white new creta looks horrible in white , looks best in black and typhoon blue

I drove both... My impression is CRETA the best of both : Seltos is very good only for exterior looks but Key features & Drive quality credits goes by Creta with no doubts. Seltos has lot of body roll even on small bumps whereas Creta is smooth & gives rear passengers that edge of comfort with extra rear seat legroom & seating positions.
Today I saw creta 2020 on road & Ohh boy! None of their visuals are doing justice to its look. Its massive road presence, its look specially from back... Lot look like Rangrover, at first glance I thought someone modified creta but nops! its creta 2020 it is beautiful, refreshing and masculine. On tbe other hand, kia design is now very common.
Exactly the seltos has a very generic suv styling. And the rear is hideous :/ the over used chrome and the fake dual exhaust bits

When Creta was launched, I saw the design and wondered, "What's wrong with Hyundai? Why did they mess up Creta?".
And then I saw it in real. Its design grew on me. Now, Creta's design has my heart!

@@rajars5859 after driving seltos for long time. Suspension is pretty good. When you ride it for the first time, it feels little stiff on bumpy roads. Now I think it's perfectly damped, the car doesn't bounce up and down like most soft sprung cars do. The suspension takes most of the impact from the potholes and offers very little discomfort to the rider. The biggest plus point is the highway stability, sitting and driving in seltos on highway is amazing as the car is always planted and firm Thanks to the suspension setting.
Seltos is all show...the led fog lights are useless.. while creta gets yellow halogens which are actually useful. Also one touch cruise control and black headrest... Seems like a more thought out car for Indian roads... So its creta for me.
I see a lot of comments saying the Creta’s design is not good. I disagree. I think Creta is a much cleaner design inside and out. The only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is the alloy wheels, but otherwise, the Creta’s design is less busy, sleek, and futuristic. While the design of the Seltos is pretty on point, I thought the front and backs are a little too busy.

THIS was a video I was looking forward!!! But a bit disappointed as Kia removed the GTK trim from the seltos, was looking forward to buying it.
For me service and road side assistance is key and for that after Maruti-Suzuki, I can only trust Hyundai, so thumps up for creta

Creta's looks kind of grows on you. You just have to keep looking.
Creta looks good. Just that we are used to certain kind of design language, we cannot easily digest the new creta design.
This is because they have skipped certain steps and leaped ahead in terms of design.
The design will eventually grow on you and you will start liking it.

True. Once you get used to it, the seltos does look great initially, but the Creta just grows on you in the real life. Also the Seltos design starts to look overused and old by this time.
Since the place where I live has really bad roads, I'm planning on getting the Creta over the seltos.
Plus the all black Creta just looks so much more premium when compared to an all black Seltos. The Creta in all black reminds me of the London Black Cabs with a modern twist.
Like you said, it's futuristic. People haven't got used to it.
I think the only thing missing from the Seltos is the panoramic sunroof. The seats are comfortable enough and the paddle shifters only count for those who are buying the automatic transmission. Meanwhile the 360° camera is a massive winner imo and makes everything so much easier. I'm not even gonna talk about the appearance, its a no brainer there.
Seltos by a much wider margin for me.

Prudhvi Raj the more we get to see them on the road, better it will get. Also Seltos had a lot issues regarding after sales service across India. The DCT autobox had multiple failure reports as well. It will still take time for KIA Motors to iron out these loopholes.
10 years from now Creta will be the way head of design! I love it❤️💯👌

@@newzztube No complaints with the service. I had a issue with reverse owing sensor cable (rat bite). Went to the service centre and got it fixed in 30 minutes and they charged like 670. They also send a message where there's a link to track the ongoing process. Bengaluru. No issues, except that the suspension could have been better.

Creta is one car whose design I hated. But as I kept seeing more of it, it has grown on me completely. There's nothing like it in design which is distinctive.

Indranil Majumder sir mine seltos delivery takes 1month due to some color reason and variant if you take 2020 seltos you can easily get in 5 days maximum

@Sachin Rajput No bro, Service is perfectly fine. Parts are also easily available, they have very good Road side assistance as well. Its my personal experience from my GTX+ AT Diesel Seltos.

I feel the Seltos’s overall design, whether it be interior or exterior, are a notch above than that of Creta. Creta feels much more like a chinese product while Seltos a german.

Don't know why people are not liking creta's looks, it's just something out of ordinary. it's something fresh.it's a treat to the eyes.. don't know why people are obsessed with age-old traditional or classic designs..kudos to Hyundai for trying something new..for me creta is the best looker in suv segment .You won't like it at first sight but as days go by you will definitely like the design it will grow on you for sure. We should encourage manufacturers to go for such radical design theme or else we will get only cars with age old bland looks. creta all the way 😍😍😍.

Regarding Seltos Suspension, yes u do feel the bumps and hits on a bad section of road but u only feel it for the first time later the suspension kind of adjusts and tries to give a better ride on that section maybe not as good as the Creta but the Seltos does adjust. That's a good sign

Nobody would have bought creta if it was old exterior. People would have gone for Seltos. You can check the sales figures of creta in Q4 2019. People went for seltos instead of Creta. Creta had to come up with a futuristic design.
Even though people are supporting Seltos for its design, sales figure of May and Jun show something else.

To summarise the review , its a mixbag .seltos from front, creta from rear .materials used olmost same but dash design and cabin feel which we are familiar to definitely come out of creta

I'll go with creta... Seltos suspensions are so stiff n hard.. even small bumps are felt so much inside the cabin, and seat are not so comfortable.
On the other hand Creta seats are so comfortable and ride quality is awesome.( This is what a car needs)

We took the Seltos.. we found it to be a much better and sensible car with more useful features compared to Creta. (Which has a lot of show off features rather than useful features)
- 360 cam ( Creta doesn't even offer front parking sensors)
- Blind spot monitoring
- Rear seat middle headrest
- Telescopic Steering
- HUD (it is super convenient, trust me)
- Richer feel inside the cabin (you feel your money is worth the car)
- The hidden wireless charging area is practical since it provides additional space for other things to keep.
- Those looks.
- GDI in manual makes that engine super affordable (just above 16lks on road, compared to a huge 19.5lks for the Creta with the same engine).
