Very well put loved the review !! Frankly Hector was priced well at launch however was surprised the way they have increased the ex showroom price recently. Hector Sharp diesel is now 19,95,800 Ex Showroom Bangalore whish is more the the on road price of Creta SXO CRDI in Bangalore. I guess its too much to ask for a Chinese SAIC car with no crash test ratings even after 2 years. Seltos & Creta make more Sense. If one can stretch the budget then nothing can beat Tata Harrier / Jeep Compass. Both are just amazing cars in their respective territory. Their platform, the safety (crash test ratings), Built Quality etc is just top notch. The quality of fit and finish in Harrier is slight let down though as Harrier is built on Land Rover Discovery / Evoque platform. Nevertheless Compass & Harrier are just amazing cars.

Sunroof and electronic parking brake aside, they’re practically the same cars with Creta having the benefit of the Hyundai brand. Also, I think Kia did a not so good job at distribution of the features and just wants you to buy the GT line which makes HT line look like mid versions, which is not the case with Creta. Maybe they know the market too well in these 20 years! Spending 9.99 or 17.3 lacs ex showroom and you can buy any of them but you do have to think and compare with other versions.
OVERDRIVE yes overdrive and that’s a shame for Kia because hyundai MD mentioned cretas 55% sales are in diesel and seltos 50-51% sales are in diesel too

GADDE CHARAN TEJA creta designed cant be ruined on purpose as the design is taken from the new Santa Fe and palisade which were launched a couple of years before new creta , just the creta has a boxy appearance due to its dimensions and size
Most important features like esp, transaction Control, panaromic sanroof we can get in SX model of creta which we will not get in lower models of seltos.
Exterior - seltos Interior - creta Rear seat- Creta Riding quality- ( seltos for sporty punch Creta for comfort) Built quality - guess same for both. As per Ads - Creta Luxury feel- depends .. for me Creta( panoromic sunroof and jet like gear knob) Specs - depends on preferences

Depends. If you drive with alot of people in the car buy Creta as the panoramic sunroof will make everyone feel special. Also as Hyundai have more outlets and older brand if you travel alot outside a metro city Creta might be better. If it's you that drive alone mostly Buy seltos as there's 360° camera which will help in parking. There's blind spot monitoring in seltos which shows you a view of jonsa bhi side u give indicator.

Nissan kicks is more safer and well built than both of them. Creta might have some feel good features like panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake, paddle shifts. But it lacks safety features like a 360 degree camera, front parking sensors, highline TPMS (Creta has only in its top most variant, while seltos has it in most variants). Creta feels cheap with its sub par dashboard and the ugly air condition system. Creta also misses out on telescopic steering which is needed for a more comfortable driving position.

Also that hyundai badging is a big factor too. Plus no one will notice the 0.5 second difference in real usage

Have you checked the plastic quality of new T-Roc. It's laughable at almost 24lkhs, they are giving hard plastics in that car. Bdw, Vw/Skoda will give a 1L engine in upcoming SUVs which obviously makes them sub par to 1.4L turbos in these 2. While the Creta is all hard plastic, Seltos has many soft touch points in dashboard and specially in door sides. Mg is also loaded but has unrefined features. I am sure , if you spend some time in Seltos GT line, you will appreciate its sense of quality and looking at Vw/Skoda SUVs abroad, the germans won't be able to cut it with that puny engine !

Ninja obviously hyundai has a bigger brand reputation but Kia also sells on hyundai goodwill and service centres also hyundai has much more , well on features front both have cruise control
So the points are not particularly for the diesel variants, but in the entire model line. The Seltos offers a bit more in the safety department than the Creta - like the 360° cam, lane watch cam, HUD and front parking sensors. And yet we have given it one point lesser than the Creta on safety, because the six airbags can only be had with the GT top spec variants.

Creta has one touch cruise control. Whereas Seltos has normal one. One touch is a more practical option which will help us to use it more frequently..

The Seltos offers a bit more in the safety department than the Creta - like the 360° cam, lane watch cam, HUD and front parking sensors. And yet we have given it one point lesser than the Creta on safety, because the six airbags can only be had with the GT top spec variants.
@@krishchaudhry2222 my point was that kia would take time to establish what Hyundai has done in India. Currently service centres and showrooms are placed 100s of kms away..
Creta has one touch cruise control. Whereas Seltos has normal one. One touch is a more practical option which will help us to use it more frequently..
rashrp check out any sales chart or Kia representative interview , gt line sales are only 12-14% of all seltos sold and creta also has 10% sales in turbo petrol , so all those other 86% seltos owners don’t deserve any safety?
