Got recommended this song by a subscriber and I fell in love with it.
I took more liberties than I usually do with Japanese songs - so forgiveness for any discrepancies that pop up. I tried to go more for capturing the spirit than the exact words.

no uta means song of. even songs like battotai are officially called "Battotai No Uta" which means the "song of the drawn sword corps".

I really like how you don't just merely translate the songs but also sort of localize them to an extent. Capturing the spirit and meaning of the songs while making it flow better and quite frankly sound better as well in the English language. Keep up the good work, sir!

Its often called the first war song of Japan created during the meiji restoration. I think its translation can be a bit tricky because just like in many songs in english they dont make sense, but it could work out!
