Testing the Twizy Acceleration with Powerbox.

Today I decided to give my Twizy 80 a good wash and cleanup and try to get rid of the dust. I gave the Twizy a run out to Eynsford in Kent. A good 20 Mile round trip but easy on the battery in the summer.
It was an enjoyable run but a bird did a big poop onto my windscreen only 30 minutes after washing the car. Thanks !
I recorded the journey with 2 Gopro Session 5, and the very last shot was using an Insta360 One X
I recently upgraded the Twizy with a Powerbox V2 and will go into more details in my next Twizy Vlog.
I also have made a mains voltage reduction box to allow the Twizy to be charged when the mains is at its peak voltage, and over the 220 vac maxiumum. More details in the next vlog.

I'd say reliably 15 to 20 in winter, 35 in summer. But enough for small journeys to the shops and back. I use my other car for longer journeys.

@@itsAndyFordham No problem! Really want a Twizy, but NONE of the Renault dealers near me have one to test drive or even looks at! Which is pretty poor 🙁

John Miller I think they have stopped selling as new in the U.K., I think auto trader may be a good start, that's where I picked up this one. They do pop up every now and then.

Hi Andy, According to the dealers I spoke too, you can still order a new one! And they still have them on the Renault UK web site, I go on occasionally and spec one up haha. I have a full size TARDIS/Police Box prop on ebay worth around £4-5K, so once that sells I can look properly (unless I can find someone that wants to do a straight swap). Gumtree have a few Twizy's!
