I love today's topic. I was in a marriage with a Narc for 8 years and they were years of sufferings but I thank God he gave me courage to leave with 3 children. I blame myself for the mysteries I underwent while in that marriage because before I got married, I prayed for a husband for some reason I met this man and thought it was an answered prayer.. unfortunately while dating there were several redflags which I never paid attention to..I asked God for a sign if he was the one, but I never got an answer but I went on to marry him anyway.. eventually, I regretted and asked God for forgiveness.
I remember the more I prayed while still in the union the worse my situation got.

My 1st marriage i got warning from God ,i entered another one before confirmation from him i have cried eversince i got him its now 9yrs with one son but am done with it
The red flags were answers from GOD. We have to ask HIM for the Spirit of discernment to understand what GOD is showing us. 🙏🏽
I have now learnt over the years that the Holy Spirit always show us the red flags but we are always "too in love' to pay attention and eventually be in a miserable life.

It was later GOD told me that I should have changed my prayer request to why am I not getting any answer
I had an ex boyfriend who was narcissist,he could be called by his lovers when am with him calling him "babe"if I dare ask I could be bitten mercilessly,he hits me on the wall,,verbal harsh words😭,am telling you when your in this ,the person makes you have low esteem of your self ,you even think if you leave him you will never get another man to love you,I could sleep crying like a baby,he could not talk to me,he could tell me to cry until I cry blood,he could turn and start chatting with women,I could peep and see it's women,I couldn't pray,I loved him until I had no time to love myself,until I wasn't attending classes in college,lemmie tell you guys one day I decided to give up and move on,I decided to do it in bits,I decided to assume I don't have a man with me,stop being hurted by his actions,never question anything from him and assume he is no longer my boyfriend,we were in the same house,I took a paper and wrote 4pages crying and removing all my pains in that paper,I went and hidden it somewhere,it took me two weeks and I was done with him from my heart,it was a lunch hour one day eating lunch I had prepared,I told him in a joking way that,I wanted Mee and him to part peacefully,he thought it was a joke,I took out the paper I had written I gave it to him and told him to take everything that belonged to him and go,and it raised another form of fight of which I wasn't ready for it,he realized I had already made up with my mind and I had realized who I am,he saw a lady he didn't know about and ahe took everything including his shirt I was wearing I was told to remove and the phone I was using he took it, everything and I was there to hand over everything unto him and he went ,I found peace being alone,I went back to my father God,he bandaged my wounds,healed me,I moved on and I found love again,the best love I can never imagine that it exists,a God fearing man,a man who can never raise his voice to me,we are now on our 4th year and we have achieved alot with him.

I just found out from my daughter-in-law that my son is a narcissist. They are in the middle of a divorce after being married 29 years. They are both 42 years old with 4 kids. She started telling me the things he has done to her and the kids. He confessed that he was a Christian years ago, he knows the Bible inside and out. Then I am reminded so does Satan. He told the pastor that the Lord told him to divorce his wife ( She’s the one who finally told him he has to go.) When they were dating I told her his behavior I would have never tolerated. He was always controlling. He was the only one working, thank God he has a good paying job. She said she loves him. They dated from junior high school and never dated anyone else. Of course he stepped out on her a few times and she continued to keep him in her life until last year. Of course he is giving her a hard time regarding the divorce, he acts like she cheated on him, but he is the one with the girlfriends. he has a girlfriend and they now live together regardless of the divorce not being finalized. Listen , this video is accurate to a T. Ladies and gents if you see the red flags run and don’t look back. if you don’t you will live a unhappy life. This is the fifth video that I watched on RUclips trying to understand this behavior. Gods wants you to be happy. Being with a person who hurts you to your core is not happiness, being by yourself in peace and with the Lord is happiness. Also, note doctors say it almost impossible for a narcissist to be healed. It would take a miracle. Being under the influence of demonic influence would mean this type of person needs deliverance! It breaks my heart to know that my son has this condition. My daughter in law gets professional help now, and she is blossoming into her own. She helps coach families with disability children , because one of her kids has a disability. She’s in school studying online and working during the day, also getting her licenses together to help others and hopefully in the future go into her own business. God has truly blessed her as she depends on Him . She is a new person, praise God. God bless Mumbi and her ministry. God bless all who tune in and listen.

Not allowing your children to properly detach can cause narcissism and that can most likely be because you have a deep insecurity that your only job is to raise children and that's your only value so you carry out this task with hyper-vigilance
The relationship with the father of my children nearly drove me crazy. I nearly lost everything even my connection to God. It was mentioned that even praying becomes hard.. I can agree with this.."they" really have their ways to break your soul😢I thank God for helping me escape

I had no idea Love an Unconditional Love we are to represent as Children of God walking in Jesus character, I had no idea how horribly bad what I learned Live was go so rejected discarded dismissed and abused unwanted. My spirit truthfully was shattered. I started being angry at God. I fell into a very dark place slowly I’m getting out and running back to My God who would never ever forsake me or throw me away. There is no reasons to chase after a man who will never love me ever as the word of God states in the Bible. Acceptance is hard the result is truthfully freeing. Jesus keep showing me truths and guiding me.
And this young woman too. Jesus you YOU ARE THE ONLY ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF LOVE TO CHASE AFTER.
This is the message God put in my heart yesterday I was remembering how God saved me from a narcissistic boyfriend, when I met this person I thought to my self he was the one for me, little did I know that he was sent by the enemy, I was always doing things he wanted but he never did the same ,he lied that he was single when in fact he had a wife , God saved me from that relationship when I surrendered to God for him to choose the person he knew was the right person for me and am here testifying that God has given me more than I ever thought or ever imagined that I could meet the man God has given me now.

I just left a relationship of 23 years with my first and only and it took me four years of suspecting she was a narcissist for me to give up and I didn't shed one tear for her either because I realized I didn't even know who she was and now that I do I only have pity for her inability to love somebody like how I love everyone
I am so drained 😩. Worse part of it he is a serial cheater. Sad part of it someone stole my clothes so that I don't get employment. Just finished my 21 days fasting yesterday. Today I get a rejection from my interview last month. 2 interviews I missed because something went to my eye I went blind and I got admitted in hospital. No matter what He is still God 😭. 3 weeks back he took my son and introduced the side chick to him and told him she's her mom I am the aunt. It is well with my soul.

Thank you so much for talking about this. God was so good to expose the last one I got caught up with. He was a covert, the most dangerous kind in my opinion. Claimed to be a real Christian but showed zero fruit. He was deceitful, secretly jealous of me and appreciated nothing I did for our relationship. I’m a really happy person, in under a year he turned my smiles to tears. He would laugh at me as I cried. Once God started to expose him, I left. They are the hardest relationships to leave, bc you have to leave the lies you believed as well about living happily ever after. I’m getting older and I believe the devil sent me this person to attempt to delay and destroy my destiny. God saved me! To anyone dating one, get out now and stay out. They are spiritual robbers and destiny killers. Nothing to say or do will make these kinds change unless they want to and honestly they don’t. Give up now, pick someone else.

My husband is a church leader, and he is the textbook definition of a Narcissist. The Christian narc is proud, legalistic and egoistic.
They are often high achievers, and therefore knownhow to buy the praise and affection of people around them with money.
In the church, they are often the biggest givers, BUT it's all for show, and manipulation.
They are the modern day Pharisees.

I just ended a relationship with a narcissist it was emotionally draining. Enough with the manipulation, gaslighting and emotionally abuse. He would suddenly go silent on me just to punish me. I thank God for this. I would end up apologising everytime. He uses money as a tool of control.

I have given everything I have nothing more to give. You have done it before, You can still do it again.
This is a topic that can never be discussed enough. This is an evil spirit that exists even in BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS. Let me tell you it is a NIGHTMARE they except no responsibility for what they do wrong! Everything is always your fault and just like Sister Agnes says all of the focus and attention has got to be on them ALL the time...OMG. You can be about to die and they won't feel any sympathy for you when something is wrong with you. If they do something that looks kind don't be fooled, they have a strategic reason for their purpose to have power over you. This is the a truth that every sister needs to hear . It is true that the relationship is so draining .It can result in Blood Pressure .Run with you life if you are not married. I am experiencing this and some days it even get hard to pray . Honestly it's been 11 years and if I did not have to think of the children I would flee too. May God give a spirit of discernment to all not married. To all those in marriage I pray God intervention because not only does it destroy you but it affects the children and even extended family relationship friendships. You are left alone but God is faithful he will advise deliver .
What you have taught is right, am married to such a person for 18yrs, but I love him so much, he treated me just the way you say, but he left to marry another woman, so should I still pray for him to change.

Thanks Agnes. I have been married to a narcissist man for the last 30 years and it has been nothing but pain. It is like I have been caged. I would come from work late and he would give me a thorough beating, if I happen to go see my mother upcountry he would not allow me to sleep there, if I did he would call my parents to confirm that am there insisting that I talk to him on their phone. If I buy a property he would say it's my boyfriends who bought for me. If I wake up to pray at night he would say there is nowhere in the Bible written that one prays at night. My friends and relatives are not supposed to visit me. He has torchered me physically and emotionally. I hate where he has placed me. I have decided that I want to quit. I could write a whole book of the persecution s I have endured. On part 2 of this topic dwell more on those in marriages for a long time with narcissists. He has made me hate marriage soooooo much.

I'm still with the narc. I'm leaving today. God has made a way for me to leave for good! Praise the Lord! It's made me physically sick! Hormone issues, chronic stress, depression/anxiety, gut issues. I saw the red flags 12 years ago and ignored them. He has tried turning our daughter against me! Please if anyone sees this message, you need to run and run fast before it becomes a crazy addiction! God has been trying to show me for so long but its been so hard for me to leave because I did love him. I've been praying for God to take my love for him away and he has now! Praise the Lord! Thank you for this topic. I also had a narcissist boyfriend and I really wouldn't see how toxic he was. I thought I would adapt to his behaviors, I thought it wasn't fair for me to leave him. The only time I was happy with him was the first month when we started dating and after that, it was only pain. We could break up and before I got over it, he came back to me whith a bunch of lies and I thought he loved me.
All along, I thought he was single yet he had someone and I found out that when I went to see him and it was just a day after he had done his traditional wedding and a church wedding coming next in two weeks time. I was broken 💔 but I thank God that that relationship actually didn't work out. God was there for me and I finally healed.
Later on God gave me a good man and I can't thank Him enough.
I can identify with every word coming out of your mouth Mumbi this exactly explains what happened to me. I left my narcissistic husband after 42 years with only my personal effects, my name blackened, my entire life shattered as I stood alone without support from my children. Wow, I was accused after I've found that my husband is lying to me. The whole family turned against me, was accused and the relationship nearly destroyed.

Such a profound and crucial topic... So spot on Mam Agnes. I don't even know where to start there's so much to be said about 'narcissists'. Most important is to be aware of how we feel when around certain people. Most times you would tell that something is off about that certain person, especially narcissists. The big favour you can do for yourself is to never ignore that feeling because you will then overlook every other red flag. The signs mentioned are spot on. At the very beginning, they appear so angelic you would be so sure you are soulmates. They bombard you with compliments, buy you a lot of gifts basically worship the ground you walk on, this is called "love bombing". They (appear to) understand you and your struggles, and they 'support you', in fact, they are going through the same challenges you are going through, and oh, even like the same music you do, "wow", soulmates right? No, they are "mirroring you" pretending to understand every bit about you, this is to just make you fall for them... and they make sure they move so fast that you don't have time to process anything, then you get caught like that. Then once they have you, the mask starts to fall off, and by that time you might be married, when you start to see the monster you've never seen before then all hell breaks loose. You'll end up not recognising yourself, not trusting your thoughts and things you actually can see with your eyes because you're being manipulated or "gaslighted"... I can go on all day. Really, the only way is to not be near these people, the same rule may not apply to everyone though. God will lead and guide you into what to do, specific to you.

Thanks so much for sharing sis Agnes...i can testify what you are saying is absolutely 💯 true because i was a victim for 19yrs...but we separated last year with kind of a Narcissist man...am in a process of healing from toxins and abusive kind of marriage. Those guys have sold their soul to the devil

Thank you my sister in Christ. Ten months in and I walked away from a person I strongly believed to be a narcissist. He was egoistic and arrogant. So full of himself. I thought I found the one for me because he was a 'Christian' and very ambitious. Something I have always wanted. After 4 months things shifted. I was accused countless of times and he attempted to control and manipulate me. When we started dating I had a dream that I wanted to walk away and he wouldn't let me. I didn't see how that would be possible because what we had was so amazing (so I thought). He love-bombed me. Said all the nice things. Only to turn around and tried to emotionally abused me. Had I not know who I was he would have damaged my self-esteem. In the end walking away was so hard. He wouldn't let me go. He asked for all his money back that he spent on me. Absolutely ridiculous. It was my worst experience to date. I thank God for healing and deliverance.
This was so good! Thank you. In the process of divorcing my narcissistic husband of 15yrs. I know this is not what God wants for my life. They don’t change. Only God can change them. Until then, I need to work on me.
I knew I shouldn’t have married my husband… I ignored all the red flags … I asked for signs and He showed me every reason why not to Mary him …but ofcourse we always find someway in our hearts to stay…. Jesus even came to me in a dream and asked me why did I married him I’ll never forget😮💨😔

I ended a relationship with a narcissist and it was difficult to get away. I prayed for four months for God to help me end it and He made a way. After one month of being away from the narcissist, I have more peace, my happiness is returning and I’m starting to get my energy back. I was fooled, but God showed me this person just in time. You couldn't have told me God didn't send her when we 1st met. Overlooked so many red flags you'd thought i was Stevie wonder 😂 I thank God daily for getting me out of that relationship because i was too weak to leave. Last 4 of the 5 years i was confused, depressed and defeated felt like i didn't wanna be here anymore. In the end i learned i had some narcissistic ways also myself. Glory be to God for delivering me from that too 🙌🏾

Thank you for your encouragement! I am finding peace and healing in God's Word and the love of Jesus. I made an exit this past January, from a malignant narcissist, who threatened my life on Dec 8th. God made a way for me to find a new home and with help from wonderful friends, I left him without his knowledge of my move. He returned the next day to find an empty house. Praise be to God!!

Mine threatens me to leave everyday. Says we're just housemates. Forced me to sllep in the girls' bedroom. Poursvwater on me when am in bed and hurls abuses at me morning before he leaves and at night when he comes back. He's tried beating mevup severally and three days ago only succeeded in kicking my face because the wall of firevthat i commanded around me keeps him at bay. Am done. Second time happeningvis once too many. A man who abuses his own children wkth the very same abuses he uses on you.
Very helpful and insightful, thank you! I wish I had realized those truths earlier. I'm in divorce now with a psychopatic narcissist, was through physical abuse and emotional abuse. Those people try to destroy your identity, it's an attack against who you are. That's mean and evil. God calls us His children, those people put us down deep, destroying our will, confidence, causing confusion, exhaustion and hopelessness. Run for your life! Protect yourselves from having children with those people. All they do is to use them, to manipulate them, to destroy them. They have no mercy to their own children! In God I trust to save me and my daugther!
This is what he's done and stii doing to ours. They have rejected him because of this.
I'm very sorry I spent 20 years with a girl who didn't love me and didn't see it cuz I was taught that to be a guy it's just good enough if somebody doesn't reject you but enough about me uses his own learning experience to teach your children the only give value to people in their lives that truly love them back and have their best interest in mind and also to forgive those who can't love others because they are hurting inside as well I'm not religious but I am deeply empathic and love everyone through recognizing the faults in myself and being able to see them in other people even if they hide it

I am two months out of such a relationship. Classic narcissist. He drained me completely. No church, no prayer, no talking to friends, etc. I got distanced even from my children, sisters and relatives. He drained me out spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially. God helped me out. All you have said is true. Do not ignore those red flags.
