You and GS like talking about the high six position which is correct, but not necessarily intuitive. An easier way to think of fighting a pure two-circle is to follow his path through the sky at your best sustained speeds. If he breaks out of the flat right hand turn by banking up and left, you bank up and left. By following his path in the sky you prevent off-set circles and make it much harder to switch to one-circle fights. Which is just what you did, this is only a suggestion for a more intuitive way to explain it. Follow his path, only with better energy (for your jet) and more smoothly, and you'll dominate the two-circle. Just my two cents. Fun video to watch!
Yup, this little bird has all of the talent it's name exudes, Viper. Slippery, speed control and a coil-around death trap. That ending of round 2 is the Best photo capture I've ever seen. And so close. My new ScreenSaver ! Thanks, LongShot. The intro confused me, but it was telegraphing the wild guns-only, Viper dominating, fight to come ! Defeat the Cobra of the Flanker. Whooohoooo !
Great example of fighting your fight and not taking a fight your opponent wants. Always with the 2 circle and denying the 1 circle as much as possible.
Check out the time the military put thrust vectoring on the f16. It supposedly performed well, it would be interesting to a mod with that on the f16. Israel and other countries were interested the U.S. wasnt.
Too much weight on the rear. Thrust vectoring engines have extra weight, because of all the parts on them. It'd probably hinder the F-16's ability to build aspect and speed in a turn, because of that weight and it'll add drag.
It was done on the f16 as a testbed for the Raptor in development. The Navy didn't want this bird but the Air Force did. And still, it's used so well today. Weight? Like large, exterior fuel tanks weight ? They can offset fore and aft weight ballast in the interior. Yet, the touchy control system already established on the Viper was plenty good enough. This jet was produced for resale to other Countries and one doesn't give up technology and give away our advantage of superior airspace control. Like the f22, dominate but don't sell to others. Hence, the f35, no thrust vectoring. Just STOL.
I love the F16, but with today's missile technology, we'd be better off putting bigger, vectoring engines on the hornet and giving that to the Air Force

Particularly appreciated the offset 2 circle negation.
I really like the overlay map, it shows your tactics in a much clearer way. As always great stuff LS.
Thank you
I LOVE the Tac View alongside the action!
Great to know, thank you
@@LongShotChannel Agreed! I don't know how much time it takes you to add that but it's much appreciated, LS!
Yeah I noticed and was following with what long shot was describing.
Thank you long shot for the action videos.
Would also like to see the ctrl enter input on the bottom left
Again, your cinematics are awesome. And the use of the real time tac-view was genius.
That F-16 is like a rocket on a leash.
Kinda is

@@LongShotChannel Can you make a comparison of F-16A Block 15 vs F-16C Block 50?
Really loving seeing Tac-view alongside the “live” fight! Very cool. F-16C FTW
great angles and explanations along with the overlays. Thanks for the extra effort.
Thank you
Nice "its not the plane, its the pilot" moment
Another tutorial and amazing dogfight by LS! Thanks!
Thank you very much, hope it help's

The inlay is a wonderful addition. 😮
Why not keep it there !
A dogfight over Santa Rita, Guam ... how I would have enjoyed watching that, from my house on the Cross Island Road!
You would have been able to pick up some used Flanker parts cheap! 😄
Thanks LS! I absolutely love the look of the F-16. Everything seems...Just right. It appeals to the Asperger's part of me. (So my wife tells me)
These two fine machines are meant to fight each other.
I never see the gun rounds coming out of the jet. Does the F16 not use tracers? Great video BTW. Love this channel.
Thank you.
It can use tracers, I just didn't had them in this one.
tac-view while fighting was great idea!
Ok, thank you, I'll keep that in mind
Never been able to beat the flanker in an f16… I must study this😂
Great flying plus great angels.
Thank you
Longshot just made the SU look so immature. The F 16 can really whip around like a Cheetah.
The ole F-16 is tough as nails in a gun fight
Great stuff
The f16 is one of the best dog fighter that was ever built it’s very hard to beat it
Which map is this one?

just subbed your channel
Thank you
Hi, please make a video F16 XL vs F15 Stol 😉
Domination!
Straight 4 - 0 win for the viper
Chinese J-11 not Su-27.
Great video
Thank you
Play on other plane it will be easier to destroy your plane
2 beasts of the air, but don't mess with the viper !
Gunfighter!
YAY! I'M FIRST!!!
Right on
