If you want to watch another Tony Scott film then you can't beat "True Romance". Written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Scott, with Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer. It's a perfect film.
18:02 - The Stallone poster of the movie, Cobra (1986), was an indirect gag. Stallone was originally cast to play Foley in the first BHC but left after he attempted to make extensive plot changes. The tall blonde girl was his then-wife, Brigitte Nielsen who plays one of the villains in this movie. However, Stallone's vision of BHC would become the movie, Cobra (1986). Since you're in the 1980's action genre, definitely check out Cobra (1986) and Tango & Cash (1989).
@@SimoExMachina2 Ohh I don't know about that, but it wouldn't surprise me as later he was also top dog on the notoriously crooked Detroit city council.
Tony Scott directed True Romance. It was written by Tarantino and is a 90s crime romance film featuring Christian Slater, Gary Oldman, Dennis Hopper and quite a few other Hollywood greats. I'd definitely recommend watching it at some point. It's a massively underrated film.
1:56... Paul Reiser! I was a BIG fan of "Mad About You" in the '90s. Never missed an episode. I even took to wearing vests a lot because he wore them on the show. Yeah... I may be the only guy who ever got his fashion sense from Paul Reiser.
Jen! The funny "foreign" guy from the first movie is in the third movie. His name is Bronson Pinchot, and he's known for making up these fake accents. And he IS hilarious. You can bet a lot of his interaction with Eddie Murphy at the gallery was ad-libbed.
Charles Cain is played by Dean Stockwell, may he RIP, he is most famous for playing Al Calavici in the TV Show the original Quantum Leap. And RIP to Gilbert Gotfried the voice of Iago from Aladdin, he plays Sydney Bernstein.
We would love to see you in some wigs Jen! Stallone poster was from the movie Cobra. Eddie was nominated for an Oscar and won a Golden Globe for his role in Dream Girls. Also, a recent comedy that is a return to form, away from his kiddie movies is the biopic Dolemite. Please keep working through his classics, such as the 48hrs series, Coming to America, the Golden Child, and Nutty Professor series. You always have great picks Jen. Love your channel.
Beverly Hills Cop 3 is a good watch and yeah he's still active. In fact he is reprising his role for the 4th Beverly Hills Cop film coming soon to Netflix. -Sage
you'd be surprised how often accusing a bad guy of being either a COP or INFORMANT in front of his friends actually works to cause dissention among them funniest example ROBOCOP the series 1994 episode MIDNIGHT MINUS 1 ROBOCOP accuses a mob guy of being a cop
A lot of this was really accurate. You do make 44. Automag casings from .308 rifle casings. The superglue thing does work, but takes more like 24 hours to reveal the prints, and they come out more white. The poster of Stallone wasn't' from Rambo. It was from Cobra. Stallone was the original choice for Beverly Hills Cop, but he wanted to make it more of a pure action, vigilante cop movie. He pulled out of the project and turned his ideas into Cobra. The Poster was a nice easter egg for that. There is a third one, but it's not as good as the others. It also looks like they are working on a fourth one currently.
yes, there is a 3, it's not really good from what I remember, but it's been a while. i did see they're doing a part 4 this year. '48 Hours' would be another great dramedy,
I liked this one better. Tagart had the BEST line in the entire movie after shooting the blonde - "WOMEN!" And you wear the wigs, outfits and ANYTHING else you want to do. The more fun you have, the more fun it is to watch. So go for it.

From Wikipedia...
That other Stallone poster in Billy's room was actually from "Cobra" (1986) starring Sylvester Stallone as a maverick cop and Brigitte Niesen as a murder witness whom he has to protect from a cult of serial killers. Not as awesome as it sounds, but a reasonable popcorn movie that has enough devotees to be worth a reaction video.
Pretty sure Stallone was also supposed to be cast as Axle in the first Beverly Hills Cop. He wanted to make too many changes though, so they went with Eddie. Sly ended up making the version he wanted... Cobra 😉
Jen! Did you catch the 'we went fishing' picture with Axel and the Beverly Hills crew at 1:33? They all become buds after the first movie before this story took place.
Remember it has a sequel too. Another 48 Hrs. It has one of the best Bar Scenes, one of my All-Time Favorites. Its when Nick is getting his ass kicked and Eddie asked the Bartender if she has a gun, then he fires the gun off and rants about his Bad Day and suggests they back off. Big Guy says, "'cause you got a gun?" Eddie, "No, because I got a gun and I'll pop a cap in your ass." Big Guy, "I don't think you got the guts to use it." Eddie, making a face at the guy, shoots him in the leg. Big Guy lands on the ground screaming in pain. "ANYBODY ELSE WANT TO LIMP?"
My favorite of the trilogy! The late Tony Scott gives it a slick style that evokes the first while standing on its own. I love his use of color in his movies, and the shots of orange suns over the oilfields are very much in his 'warm period' (Top Gun - Days of Thunder), but he also uses black and white contrast in BHC2, particularly with Bridgette Nielson's hair and costumes (and also at the 🐰 party 😉). Throw in the cemented chemistry between our heroic quartet, Jurgen Prochnow as the villain, with bonus Gilbert Godfried (RIP), and I just love it.
I knew the min I saw you was doing this movie, that you would really love the music score on this! And YES, I did Indeed have a great Time watching this with you.
Count me in for wanting to see you in a wig, Jen! :) Incidentally, that Stallone movie poster on Rosewood's closet door was for COBRA, a movie Stallone did with Brigitte Nielsen.
The superglue fingerprint thing is partially true. Back then there was a similar technique usingba fog of a substance very similar to the main chemical in super glue. Fun fact: super glue was iriginally developed as a liquid suture for use on soldiers wounded in Vietnam.
I've never seen Jen giggle so much! This one was made for her because it has heists and a sexy villain who Jen can cosplay with her stacks and stacks of wigs. Jen Malicious will be BACK!!! Beverly Hills Cop 3 is a cash-in that happened later, so it's not on the same level, but I'm glad I saw it for myself. The first two are classics that will live forever. The low-key MVP of this movie was the SCORE!!!
Definitely check out part III. It isn't on the same level as the first two, but it's still fun. Because it came out in the 90s, they changed up the music and got rid of the 80s synth sound, which, in my opinion, doesn't help the experience. Eddie is still the reason to watch, though. The foreign guy from part I, Serge, comes back. I hope you give it a watch. It definitely has its moments.
Keep the awesome reactions coming Jen. There are a couple of Eddie Murphy movies worth watching. Bowfinger with Steve Martin is one of my favourites along with the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy and another one that is reasonably ok is I-Spy with Owen Wilson.
Ok, well, you've got to finish it up with part 3. You should also check out 48 Hours, and The Golden Child. Anyway, loved the review, love you, take care and stay safe ❤️
We'll be seeing "the villain in me wants to pull a jewel heist" replayed on all the news channels in five years time when the FBI's most wanted Jen The Jewel is finally brought to justice.
Hi Jen ,, The Late Tony Scott (Brother of Ridley) Directed 31 films, music videos & shorts between 1969 & 2010 , I would guess the most famous is 1986`s "Top Gun" but others include 1990`s "Revenge" Kevin Costner , "Days of Thunder" Tom Cruise , 1991`s "The Last Boy Scout" Bruce Willis (A film if you havent already watched , I Highly Recomend) 1995`s "Crimson Tide" Hackman/Washington ,1998`s "Enemy of the State" Will Smith & many More Others .. PS 😃I Believe there is to l Be a New Beverly Hills Cop Movie this Year which will be on Netflix i cant wait to see murphy, Reinhold , Ashton , Reisner & Pinchot Back together again , along for the ride this time Kevin Bacon & Joseph Gorden-Levitt ...😀
Great Movie with a great 80's soundtrack! I know you enjoy this catch the heisters movie! This was a improvement over BHC I which was good! Have fun and Thanks!
14:08 "That's a _very_ cool theme." I was pretty small when I first heard it on the radio but I loved it _that_ moment. I had _no_ idea where it was from.
Immediately had to pause what I was watching and haul (virtual) ass over here. One of the few sequels that lives up to an amazing original. Too bad that they Never Made A Third One.🤨🤨😵💫 Jen and her Serious Girl Spectacles to The Rescue on a Wintry Monday Night. 👍☮❤
More Eddie Murphy? Well...he's currently working ... well he's working on 3 movies right now... but the one I should mention is called "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" and it seems to bring back most of our favorite characters...and also stars Kevin Bacon! According to IMDB it's due out some time this year and is currently in post-production, so could be a spring or summer release! And yes... there is a Beveryly Hills cop 3...there's also a new "Beverly Hills Cop", not a remake but I guess it's #4, but the story is that it's mainly about Aaron Foley, his son trying to get out from under his father's shadow, and it seems like although Eddie Murphy is in it, he's a side character. I have no clue if this one is any good or not, but I've never heard of it until I just checked his IMDB page. As for other movies of his? I don't recognize that much from what's listed on his IMDB, but there is Dr. Dolittle and also the Nutty Professor, neither have I seen (nor their sequels) but are comedys. There is also "Vampire in Brooklyn" and "Metro" and "Holy Man". I think I've seen all 3 but it would have been a LONG time ago and I don't recall. There's also "The Golden Child" which I don't recall too much about but I recall enjoying it! But I think another one of his movies you will enjoy is his very first movie, called "48 Hours" from 1982 and it's sequel "Another 48 Hours" from 1990. I do recall those 2 and I loved them.
Hi Jen ,, The Poster by Billys Guns was Cobra not Rambo + well spotted park that was a young Chris Rock.. Beverly Hills Cop 3 is good but nowear near as good as the First two , if you want a 1st class eddie movie you want to watch his first 1982`s " 48 Hrs " where he`s a Convict Teamed up with a vetran Cop Played By Nick Nolte , its a great action movie from start to finish ..😀
Great reaction Jen. I watched this in the theater back in the days. What a treat it was. BTW the Sly poster in the bedroom was not Rambo, but Cobra, Brigitte Nielsen was in that too. :)
Eddie Murphy has been in 48 Hours (first movie role), Another 48 Hours, Boomerang, Metro, The Distinguished Gentleman, Vampire in Brooklyn, Life, Norbit, Dr. Doolittle. Your reaction videos are awesome 🎉❤
Hi Jen. I don't know if you've already seen it but you might enjoy ' The Golden Child ', also staring Eddie Murphy. You mentioned whether Eddie Murphy would have been a good guy to know. I would suggest looking up his history for that answer. You also asked if there was a Beverly Hills Cop 3 movie and yes, there is. Directed by John Landis. I love the Beverly Hills Cop series, such fun movies. They definitely don't make them the same anymore. The humor in today's films, while some can still be funny, just don't have the same fun factor about them, it's a little difficult to explain. A great reaction video. Have a fantastic day, take care!
Love watching movies with you Jen ❤️. You have such infectious laugh. Super awesome. Yes this movie along with a lot of 80's flicks had tremendous soundtracks. Back in the day artist loved being a part of the movies. Such great music in the 80's. Another outstanding review/watch along. Still the best.
Beverly Hills Cop 4 just finished production, Jen. So yes, it's a third movie, but a fourth movie called Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley is on the way. I watched the first 3 movies years ago.
Damn good reaction. You made good predictions, appreciated the music, and didn't talk or skip over the adidas joke. I saw this in theaters at age 8. You Rock!👌
Hey jen great reaction.. always love your enthusiasm. Not to mention, great pick. Eddie hasn't retired. He had been on hiatus for a while up until a few years back. Recently came out with an xmas movie called Candy Cane Lane and is coming out with Beverly Hills Cop 4 this year
"Another daring jewel heist was carried out today by the mysterious pony-tailed Canadian known as "the Movie Watchalong Bandit"." 😂 You were so right about BHC II😮 being pinnacle '80s, Jen! The music, the gloss, the firepower, even the lenses used. It isn't as good as the original & has weirdness (Bogermil going fishing with Axel?!) but it's solidly entertaining amusing junk food. Murphy, Reinhold, and John Ashton have fun chemistry and Dean (Blue Velvet, Quantum Leap, Battlestar Galactica) Stockwell squints up a storm as doofus patsy Kane (as in Charles Foster Kane from Citizen Kane?). You always make it a joy to watch these movies again, Ms Murray. Kudos. 🙂
I have been binge watching a lot of your reactions. I like your style. You'll want to watch the movie "48 Hours". That was Eddie's first movie and it was a huge hit. It is an action comedy.
Yes, super glue fumes can attach to fingerprint acid: When vaporized, the glue reacts to traces of moisture and organic components of fingerprint residue.

The 3rd in an amusement park. Also she is stallone's ex wife. They are both in COBRA which is one of my favorite stallone movies.

I'm glad you covered the facts between Murphy & Stallone, you beat me to it
Tango & Cash is the perfect distillation of eighties action, love it.
Most insane over the top violent 80s action film is Death Wish 3.
In addition, Brigitte Nielsen co-starred with Sylvester Stallone in Cobra.
I vote for Cobra!
'he got a charisma'

Ok, well, you've got to finish it up with part 3. You should also check out 48 Hours, and The Golden Child. Anyway, loved the review, love you, take care and stay safe ❤️
Don't forget the underrated 'Another 48hrs'... 😉
PS
😃I Believe there is to l Be a New Beverly Hills Cop Movie this Year which will be on Netflix i cant wait to see murphy, Reinhold , Ashton , Reisner & Pinchot Back together again , along for the ride this time Kevin Bacon & Joseph Gorden-Levitt ...😀
HEHH, HEHH, HEHH 😂 heist film and Eddie Murphy! Your in the zone Jen! 😊thanks again...ERIC!
Would that be the Danger Zone..? 😎👍(LOL)
@@tomhoffman4330 What I meant to convey was, she is in her element 😳 but what do I know ?
@@e.d.2096 Dude, I was kidding😉and it was a double-pun, because Tony Scott Directed this and Top Gun" back-to-back!!
Great Movie with a great 80's soundtrack! I know you enjoy this catch the heisters movie! This was a improvement over BHC I which was good! Have fun and Thanks!
Fun movie great soundtrack! Great reaction Jen!
Love Eddie’s Laugh!!
Beverly Hills Cop 4 out soon...we'll see if he's still got it I guess. Thanks for the great, fun upload as usual 😊
14:08 "That's a _very_ cool theme."
I was pretty small when I first heard it on the radio but I loved it _that_ moment. I had _no_ idea where it was from.
17:30 - STRESS-FREE ENVIRONMENT? Surely the opposite? Imagine the anxiety from having to keep ALL those plants from dying.
This was great! Thank you Jen!
Immediately had to pause what I was watching and haul (virtual) ass over here.
One of the few sequels that lives up to an amazing original. Too bad that they Never Made A Third One.🤨🤨😵💫
Jen and her Serious Girl Spectacles to The Rescue on a Wintry Monday Night. 👍☮❤
The song you said sounded like Paula Abdul was "Love/Hate" by Pebbles ("Girlfriend", "Mercedes Boy”, "Giving You the Benefit").)
I love this movie. looking forward to the 4th one coming out this year
More Eddie Murphy?
The sequel 'Another 48hrs' is also underrated in my opinion...
@@MLJ7956,,, I like the sequel , but like Beverly Hills cop 3 its just lacking that special something that the Original Had ...
3 is not good
Totally 80s ❤ Jen, please get Turner and Hooch!! 🎉
Oh she'd love that! A buddy cop movie where one of the buddies is a dog. 🐕
@@mr.a8315 and probably the funniest Tom Hanks movie 🍿
This is a great sequel, Eddie’s work in the 80s is so much fun to watch and I can’t wait for the new Beverly Hills cop movie to come out.
Still the best.
one of the few triologies where all 3 entries are amazing
Beverly Hills Cop 4 just finished production, Jen. So yes, it's a third movie, but a fourth movie called Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley is on the way. I watched the first 3 movies years ago.
Damn good reaction. You made good predictions, appreciated the music, and didn't talk or skip over the adidas joke. I saw this in theaters at age 8. You Rock!👌
Dirty Harry is a must see! 👍
Hey jen great reaction.. always love your enthusiasm. Not to mention, great pick. Eddie hasn't retired. He had been on hiatus for a while up until a few years back. Recently came out with an xmas movie called Candy Cane Lane and is coming out with Beverly Hills Cop 4 this year
"Another daring jewel heist was carried out today by the mysterious pony-tailed Canadian known as "the Movie Watchalong Bandit"." 😂
You were so right about BHC II😮 being pinnacle '80s, Jen! Kudos. 🙂
YES.. I went to detective school in 1987....Super glue and baking soda also solidifies greasy/oily prints.
Yep you need to watch Dirty Harry
I have been binge watching a lot of your reactions. I like your style. You'll want to watch the movie "48 Hours". That was Eddie's first movie and it was a huge hit. It is an action comedy.
Yes, super glue fumes can attach to fingerprint acid: When vaporized, the glue reacts to traces of moisture and organic components of fingerprint residue.
Eddie Murphy is also in 48 hours. It has someone from Star Trek Next Generation.
