Samsung should bring back 'S Secure'. It does this app lock functionality. It was so good back then. It does not matter how many features samsung pushes via good lock modules if it does not provide some of the basic utility feature like this. Secure folder is for a different purpose altogether and it does not make sense to use it for app lock. Just bring back S Secure.

All these applications are a waste of time because once you tab on the recent app button, you will see a full snapshot of the "locked app" running in the background! Best option is to have a built-in AppLock and to do so, all Samsung fans should submit such a request and feedback to Samsung using the Samsung Members application otherwise, buy Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei, Vivo, OnePlus smartphones as they have the all-round security features that cover all needed aspects of privacy. Samsung smartphones lack two major features: 1. Ultimate security features like Multi user profile, Dual space, AppLock and Hiding applications with password! 2. Charging speed! It's very slow and backward technology to have 45 Watts in 2023!!
Agree.. However these app developers have put in efforts to make them.. and no wonder they all have above 4 plus rating on playstore and being used by millions of users. Let’s respect that.. you rightly pointed out about the features Samsung must add.
It's a shame that my Huawei p30 pro has its own application so when I put my phone down no one has access to certain accounts or apps it requires a fingerprint but with Samsung or any other device why couldn't they make their own

Actually, samsung does have this application build-in. If you use note8 and some backward, you'll see that feature.i did see that quite often in Note series. Not sure about these days. But still, samsung does need to bring back some of applications back.

Before I introduce a potentially damaging app like any of these into my full ecosystem I tried one of these (Boom applock) and it broke the app I tried it on. Fortunately I was able to recover the app's data after I reloaded it. Be very careful with any of these apps.

I would never buy Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei, Vivo, OnePlus for "Privacy". Samsung don't have app lock in them but that's ok.
