I'm looking for updates. Is part two done, and how does the bike feel with short exhaust/ tune vs. stock? Also, have you ridden a multistrada with Ducati akrapovic full system plus EVO Ducati map. That's my current setup.

Very Curious to see how this works out. I know Daniel has a great rep. but I have heard the PPV4 is a pain in the ass to tune. Please be very transparent in your feedback, people now days seem to have issues being honest if something doesn't quite work out.

No issues so far, besides a dead battery a few weeks ago! Don’t worry when/if an issue happens I will post something about it!

Forgot to mention the absurd pricing that these portable tuning people charge.

The portable flashing units aren't exactly cheap, either. You're paying for some very specific tuning info that had a non-trivial amount of R&D invested in its development. So half is the hardwre, and half is for all the time and knowledge the tuner had to spend to provide that tune.
A possible analogy to this is to reference the story about the design of the new Citi Bank logo, explained in Ned Dwyer's story "The $1.5M napkin: Paula Sher's 5 Minute Logo". During a client meeting a designer sketched out the new logo on a napkin in a few minutes. It took the better part of a year to work on strategy and positioning behind the logo but it still was all pretty much designed in a few minutes' worth of converstatiion.
Now you could say, how could that be worth $1.5 million? Paula's answer was "It's seconds done in 34 years." Meaning how long she's been a designer, and the product being a culmination of her experience, knowledge, talent, and skill.
Yes, the tuner is just emailing you a file to download into the tuning unit to reflash your bike, why does that cost so much? How many weeks/months of dyno time and test rides got it to that point? How many years experience in tuning prior to that? How many years riding prior to that? It's a process, and you're paying for all of it.
Besides, some of these bikes are absurdly priced. In context, a $700 tune on a $32K bike is barely 2%, for a performance and quality of life update to the bike that is both significant and immediate. There are few things, performance wise, that are better bangs for your buck/Euro/whatever.

@@Pyrrho_ Then you go to the dealer and they wipe your tune out or my favorite they update the bike and you have to contact the tune guy again that can't seem to pick up the phone.
