@@charlesdailnielson You're version of this and Atlas Rise reminds me of fellow RUclipsr Metallica S and SM who pairs the orchestra with the original studio versions of songs.
Been an old metallica fun. I liked theold stuff better. Even so there some really good new songs on from st. Anger and on. This song is one of my favourites on hardwired. How is this not fucking heard by millions!!!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! That was brilliant! Abso-fucking-lutely awesome! Ha ha! This has been one of my favorite tracks from HWTSD since it came out. Would’ve loved it if Metallica had really done this song with the symphony instead of Confusion. Which granted, sounds good with them. This would’ve been a much better fit though. Thanks for an awesome taste of what could’ve been👍👍😎😎😎😎. The title of this song I’ve also really liked. So badass!
I knew they could've picked better songs for S&M ². They got fucking lazy and chose generic "follow the riff" orchestrations for the new songs... besides AWMH. Would've loved to hear shot like this, All Nightmare Long, Am I Savage, End of the Line, Suicide and Redemption... there are so many they could've chosen. I was at the second night of S&M². I loved and hated it. There was so many good things and bad things they did
This is interesting. The S&M versions should be on like this. NOT A CRAPPY LIVE RECORDING. Just go to the Studio, Remake the classics again, and then add the Orchestra ambiance. No more mayhem from the public and mistakes from the Live performances. The original S&M 1 should be perfect on that way. Not another crappy Metallica Live Recording.
@@redacted7104 Metallica Live always suck. The only good Metallica at live were at their old golden days. Today, are just like an a audition cancer. Untalented people. They doesn't know how to play at their instruments anymore. Even a Kid can play better than these old "musician rock band". ..... A joking pathetic parody.
About a minute in and the orchestra writing and arranging is already too good for S&M 2. You're not following the guitar parts constantly and basically treating the orchestra as a glorified pad.
Omg this is awesome. I haven't listened to this song in quite a few years. Would love to hear the Orchestra with a love version of this
Omgggggggg no way , awesome perfect sync 😎 S&M 3 album is nearly completed, Fixxxxer and Unnamed Feeling too please
Damn didnt know this song could get any better this is awesome!!!!! Wish I had it on cd for the car Hell yeah!!!
You could definitely convert the audio to a blank cd I’ve done it with a ton of live Metallica shows from RUclips!
Just make sure it’s formatted so it’ll run in your car
Plot twist : this and spit out the bone and other not on S&M2 was really played in the 3rd day of Chase Center opening for secret fans 😎😎😎🤣
Yeah, we heard you the first time.
You need to use live performances so that it sounds like an authentic S&M2.
My goal isn't, necessarily, to make it sound 100% authentic. I can respect that idea, but it wasn't my preference in this case.

Downtuning it and adding some reverb to some vocals in the quieter parts would be the most similar, in my opinion.

The funny part is that the reverb on James' vocals sounds like they're in the theatre.
You should’ve put it into Eb tuning in order to sound more like the actual S&M.
Thank you for this, man 🙏😍
Its perfect, amazing work
cant stop listening
Thank you!

Can you do Spit out the Bone?
I loved it.
Really well done!
This is what this song needs. It makes alot of sense with all the atmospheric backing tune.
It drowns Lars' drums at least.
Can literally anyone in this world to make FIXXXXER symphony?
With the studio version of the song, sure...but no live performances exist, right?
@@charlesdailnielson yes with studio version hopefully but only one time Alcoholica played Fixxxxer live
@@asgardman3404 What?!? I wanna see!
@@maxzubic check Alcoholica Fixxxxer

The crowd noise in S&M1 is unbearable at times, however it's almost unnoticeable in S&M2.
