What is so impressive to me here is it pretty much sounds like Hetfield himself is playing. You know how anyone (with enough practice) can learn a song, but few people can actually sound like Adam Jones or Brent Hinds, etc? You nail it man. Not just the tone, the attack is spot on. Fantastic cover

fuck yeah Matt! i totally love this song ,so heavy and chuggy!!! especially after i heard from interview with James that it was written for their fan that was killed by a drunk driver , then her parrents - family got into Metallica , because their daughter was a huge fan of them and they connected with what she loved in a way , very sad... but else than that , you nailed it as usual!

Just after 30yo i got that killin beast riffs. Hope war in Ukraine will end soon and i’ll finally hear Metallica live. There’s left just a few legendary rock bands banging for 30+ years already, and Metallica is one of those i cant miss.

Awesome cover man. I havent commented in awhile but I still watch your videos all of the time. I have been learning guitar for almost a year now. My biggest problem I'm facing right now is I have a hard time with alternative picking getting it to sound right on certain songs. Like this song for example. The main riff it's easy to remember but I can't get the galloping chug to sound right when I play it.
Does anyone have any tips that could help me out?
I can play parts of Call of the Ktulu, The Day that never comes, fade to black, and justice for all, enter sandman, Nothing Else Matters, Through the Never, One, Leper Messiah, Welcome Home Sanitarium, Freyed Ends of Sanity (which I would love to see The Riff Master cover btw), Havestor of Sorrow, and then I can play parts of others songs like Paronoid Android from radiohead, Cemetary Gates from Pantera.
I know learning learning guitar is a long process and I practice everyday what I know, try to learn new things and new parts for songs I have already been working on.
Revenge is a dish best served RIFF! Matt the Riff Master specifically.

+Alex Bowling cheers! And I use the original track just to get those vocals in but as I layer my guitars and mix them it cancels out the guitars from the track so you hear my guitars clearly but also the drums and vocals from the track are heard

I think the only song you haven't covered off hardwired now is Murder One if I'm not mistaken I think you've done everything off the album now bar Murder!

Guitar and series one sound great! Where do you keep the isf knob at for metallica? Its wierd because i find the british side (left) to sound more mesa like than the right. When it should be opposite lol. Also do you know what speakers are in your cab? Thanks \m/
