Hey, I have a Sony a 73 and I'm using this lens for Iris photos. I'm having trouble not being able to get more of the iris in the frame and was wondering if it's because I'm using a 24 megapixel camera. I can't seem to zoom in super close. What am I doing wrong?
You mean the FE 135mm F1.8 GM? I would hope for the extra thousand and the fact that it's a newer lens as well as a GM that it would be sharper. Than again what's the point of the sharpest portrait lens. When you are likely going to dial that sharpness down in post? No ones going to see that quality when you post it on social media. Due to the heavy compression. Hopefully they start focusing on the character the lenses can render.
