@mohamudjama8176 don't know if it's relevant but I thought I'd share what I do to the ones I believe are relevant to me: it's helped me alot. 1- Strictly no ibadah when ppl are around. Try ur best to do everything in secret. Don't share any achievements with anyone. Just thank Allah and let the creation see you as nothing special. 2- it's usually certain Muslim daees in this category for me😭. I stopped watching them completely and ( I will also make Dua for them just like ustadh Abdurrahman just mentioned in this vid) Making Dua for them is key. 3- There were 2 ppl I knew in my life that had things I really wanted. I started making Dua for them in my tahajjud, I send gifts to one of them and anytime they pop into my head I say a Dua quickly for them, so shaytaan can't whisper. 4- Alhamdililah I'm not stingy😅 5- I found myself thinking I'm superior to this one person in my life. Mind you, this person was always so kind to me. May Allah forgive me. I now make it a habit to tell them that I've seen them improve in this area and that area and that they're doing so well. I mention that I'm struggling in this area and ask them for advice to humble myself. 6- I noticed my love for dunya increases when I see things on social media- ppl going on holidays, eating good food, so I know what the answer to this one is, BUT it's by far the hardest bc social media surfing is something I've tried to stop many times and I keep going back😭. Back when I didn't have social media, I wasn't that distracted by the luxuries and temptations of the world. This is my biggest challenge on this whole list. 7- leadership - no thanks😅, I prefer to follow 8- I hate fame, put me at the back of any room 😂 I hope this has helped u, May Allah grant u ease. Ameen
SubhanAllah this was much needed - and it was the perfect time for me personally by Allah. Today in Universities we are taught all what is against this lesson or teachings... To work hard for Dunya (Wealth), Shurah (Fame) and Riyasa (Position) - all under the name of being Competitive. This mindset creates Hiqt (Hatred) & Hasad (Envy) for those who go ahead if us. And creates kibr (Arrogance) for those who are behind us... and makes as Shuh (Stingy) when giving away money and thinking that we are losing money instead of piling it up. Or to gather it all for ourselves and not to share its benefit with others... Not only that some may fall to shirk saying that these blessings are from my efforts and forgetting Allah who is Al-Wahhab. May Allah Protect us from the evil of Dunya and it's people... and keep us steadfast upon the Straight Path.
When īmaan enters your heart, Subhanallah, happiness and Joy that is something you cannot put into words. Something that the wealth of this world cannot pay. Those are the moments you find yourself in tears for no reasons. It is just that your heart is filled with Joy & Happiness (because of this īmaan) Allāhumma bārik lak
