"you have freed me" gives the exact same tone as when the mind flayer said "you let us in, and you let us stay" - showing that it was vecna communicating all this time.
Or is it the other way around? The mind flayer is the hive mind after all

Or there partners. Or if you notice at the end you see black smoke in that glass cage I’m assuming that’s in Russia so what if the Russians captured the mind flayer and now that he’s out of the way that’s why vecna is free to do his own stuff
I do think Vecna is the one that has been in control all this time, if you think he can get into the minds of people, the mind flayer was doing that but I think he was doing Vecna's bidding all this time.

Steve and Nancy, everyone keeps shipping them, BUT..Steve never accepts the fact that Nancy and him belong together, maybe because he realizes that he was not a good boyfriend in season 1, personally though, I think Nancy and him belong together, but he may just not accept the fact, not wanting to hurt her again. (Just my opinion btw)

Robert Englund who played the original Freddy Kruger, playes Victor Kreel so that fits really well actually
Vecna is the Freddy Kreuger of Stranger Things, he killed all the number kids and then 11 halfway incinerated him and he ended up in the "upside down", scarred and deformed then coming back and killing people through hallucinations, in typical Kreuger fashion .

When Vecna claimed his first victim the manner in which Chrissy was killed immediately reminded me of Freddy Kruger and if you see Vecna he even looks the part. The fact that Robert Englund (plays Freddy Kruger)played the part of Victor Kreels father in ST only goes on to show that how much this season is influenced by the whole Nightmare on Elmstreet movie franchise. And now this song!
Dude Victor Creel is Vecna's father, I've seen many people getting confused about that😅. Vecna is Henry Creel.
There's so many Easter eggs about Freddy Kruger. Including the gloves.

Steve is the goat of babysitting and protector, he will be in the history books with that title. He cannot die, he literally kept Dustin under his wing since S2, and protected all the other kids also

I’m thinking Steve isn’t going to die this season, but he’ll end up being possessed/corrupted and be “evil” in season 5 (similar to Billy in season 3) and one of the dominant plot lines will be saving Steve. Seems like a good middle ground to me

Are we really supposed to believe that Vecna still has the 001 tattoo? Lol. It’s not any big deal, but I can’t tell if it was just a visual cue or if it’s actually there. The dude literally lost all of his skin, how would the tattoo stay. And of course, the 2 tattoos are way different sizes. Maybe the upside down has tattoo parlors?
Anyone notice robin and Steve dressed like the Frog brothers in Lost Boys and Nancy dressed like Kurt Russels MacReady in the Thing? God do I love this show! They need to change the rating on IMDb. It deserves a 9.9 rating instead of the 8.7. This is truly a masterpiece.

at 0:12 we see joyce crying and hugging hopper. at first you would just think oh yeah it’s cause they are so happy to see each other. well if you look at joyce’s face you can tell she isn’t happy. you can also tell hopper if upset like two seconds later. in that same frame where we see hopper looking sad and hugging joyce we can see enzo in the background. you can also tell they seem to be less afraid than they should be if there is still a demogorgan in the prison.
my theory: they defeated the demogorgan. don’t ask me how they just did. however, in defeating the demogorgan, someone dies. well who else was part of the russia crew who we don’t see during this little part. murray.
murray is going to die to save them from the demogorgan.
It will be Eddie, cause remember he said" he didn't see himself as a hero, but a coward". He also plays guitar and music. So he will use his music to sacrifice himself for the others, thus becoming the hero.
