    For Doom, I'd make 8.75fps sprites, that framerate is the most natural one for Doom imo.

      8.75 is the one that's JUST ENOUGH to show fast motions that you can track mentally.

      Really depends on the art style and aesthetic. All of them are viable depending on the specific use case.

    It does make me wonder if ZScript would let you overcome the tick limit in Doom, you'd lose Zandronum compatibility, sure, but if you're not worried about multiplayer then it could be useful if you're going for a specific aesthetic.
