I did the paint and bodywork on that 280Z. It's all fixable and will be back to racing next year. Im just glad the driver/owner is ok and the damage isn't worse than it is..
Bro, I drag race bikes and my car and I can never overstand why people stay on the gas when they loose traction or get out of the groove and wreck. Just let off the gas and save your ride.
Sometimes they do, but with not much result in slowing down.. at that level. Let me ask something: Your car got some 3000bhp and runs 2 geats only? Things could be VERY different due to speet reached after first 2-3 seconds.
Honestly, I think because they have so much time and money into the preparation that you don’t want to lift but a lot of the times it’s out of your control man you’re doing everything you usually do in the next thing you know you’re in the wall
I love some 2k and was there thursday-saturday but the drag racing classes for the most part had some of the worst reactions time humanly possible especially for cars on trans brake. TX is a show of money not racers .
