I had to say goodbye and bury my father yesterday......that Moment of Silence for Little Tony and his family was an amazing show of respect.

Man, that tribute to the family hit deep. I hope the family finds peace. It’s so cool that everyone came together for them. Feeling supported is about the only thing that can help fill small parts of a huge missing void. Even then it’s never enough to stop the heart ache.
My brother took his life in 2021. He was my best friend and roommate. He was the only family I had that loved cars and bikes as much as me.
We lived together and built our cars together. He was a welder and I did all the mechanical/electronic work. It sucks going on without him, especially when I’m stuck in the garage wishing I could ask him for help. I miss him everyday.

Gotta give a shout out to Fred's commentary. Its gotten much better as time's passed, and when he's unsure he doesn't sutter, but instead goes with it and keeps trucking. I also love his seemingly staple "on the property" line!

Worlds fastest gtr is jun2. It ran a 6.37 @224. And it’s still a streetcar… Full factory chassis, irs, radials, glass windows, full interior ect ect.

I swear we tell you this all the time but the gtr world record is held by jun II in Australia at 6.37 I believe to be the time. R35 record yes. Gtr record no. It's okay though we forgive you for blessing us with this coverage 😊

I think what got me the most with the memorial to Little Tony was seeing his, I'm assuming son, standing there at the line bawling. I was really sympathizing with him. That was an incredibly thoughtful gesture, and shows that the racing community can be so caring.
Rest in peace little tony 🙏 My prayers are with you all and little tony would be so proud of you all to keep racing 🏁 and pushing on!.

What a great memorial for Little Tony. Sad to see Baytown Raceway closing it's gates. My first ever pass down a racetrack was at that track when I was 16 or 17 with my late Uncle by my side giving me tips and guidance. Wasn't the fastest car on the property but those memories will stay with me for the rest of my life. Thank you 1320 for capturing this final TX2K23 at this iconic TX Dragstrip.

The roll racing is inconsistent especially with them having break out numbers set up for classes that ppl are joining to try n get an easy win since they know they are way too fast for said class
@@ovodrizzyszn7766 Its like the Low Talent version of drag racing. Cant cut a light, cant launch from a stop and no business in cars with that much power. Cars near and over 200mph without roll cages in most. I'm amazed nobody has been killed yet. This is the first time I've seen them wearing fire suits.
@@mytmousemalibu it's sad but true the money put into these builds can more than cover a roll cage at a fraction of the cost. There's a place for roll racing since not every car can be launched at a light with that kinda power. They just need to make it more interesting
