Got one 3 days ago. What worked for us: Get a young budgie. Sit by the cage. Place hand inside but stay still, start making small finger movements - dont move towards thr budgie. Do that throughout the day. Play "happy budgie music" Our budgie was eating out of our hands within 24 hours. She was out the cage by end of day 2 and let us put her back in the cage, give belly rubs etc. We still do the hand thing throughout the day, I still give her breakfast by hand. I spent a LOT of time with my hand in an awkward position that first day, but it was worth it!

Of course, I cannot hold my budgies like in this video. Right now, they're OK with hopping on my finger/hand and they also follow the target stick around. Hey just one quick question: what do you do when you get two birds at a time? Because if you can only tame one at once what would you do with the other in that time?
I have 4 budgie 2 budgie is so smart 2 budgie is coward because I see this video thanks for information bro you doing so hardworking for your 63 K family subscriber ❤️👍 Thanks for 3 warning also see you soon in next video keep it up 👍
Some of our budgies are semi trained because I was training them together, but it's true that it's very hard to train them when they're together. It takes months and I've only been able to gain some trust. They usually end up pushing each other away or they just talk to each other and ignore me 😂 Two of them do hop on my finger/hand when I extend it to them 😍 One of the females will come straight away when she sees a millet spray. The other female always keeps a safe distance 😋 Although she did hop on my husband's finger once when she couldn't find the cage and she accepted our help 😍 I think it's possible to train them when they are together, but of course you cannot expect the same results as in this video. It takes all the time and patience and perseverance you can find ⌚💪😋
Yes it is possible..but it takes a bit longer.. I also a many birds in one cage.. one of them is tame..he likes to hop on to our hands and play.. another one is semi trained..but others are a bit afraid.but they will sometimes eat from our hand.
Hi, I have an adult budgie from 2 months I try to tame him and he even steps up on my hand but then goes away within a second...I try to get close to him and again he runs away I am trying my best what should I do please suggest something😥🥺
My budgie is the most stubborn budgie i have ever seen. I had it for 1-2 years now and they still arent tamed. He does not eat veggies or fruits and is still kinda scared of me. I am really sad about its situation.
Oh.. Just keep offering veggies every day and ones they're not afraid of it.. He'll try it. And sometimes taming does take a long time.. I have had my budgie for 3 months now.. He still isn't fully tamed
Heyyyyy this worked I am not lying so what I do is in the morning when I change there food I take there food out and at that moment they are kind of hungry so I take some food on my finger and just keep it still and eventually they started eat from my finger , it’s been a month since I have been feeding them with my hand and now they are used to my presence around them 🥹❤️❤️❤️
Hey! So I have a problem...I have had my budgies for a while and they were clipped. They seemed to have a very good bond with me until about a month ago. They can now fly again. They just randomly switched. Out of nowhere you won’t let me hold them or get near them. Any idea why or what I could do?
This is exactly what happened to me with Billie, so I put extra effort in taming her inside the cage. It's not easy, and you will be frustrated, but don't give up and it will certainly be possible to fix.
@@Bird-Nuggets Thank you. I did a make a little progress yesterday by getting them to step up again and I even got one to sit on my should for a little bit. Hopefully the little budgies I know and love will come back soon. 🥺
So my budgie flys away when I put my finger in the cage but when I close his cage he chirps and bites the cage and he is seven is that to late to tame also he won’t take any food or millet
It was really great, it helped me a lot. Honestly, my Dutch bride did not get very close to me, but I was very kind to her with the things you said. Thank you (:
The thing is my house has alot of open doorways and many many places to escape out of the house and I don't know how to let them out while also keeping them from not going outside. The rooms have door gaps do it's not the best place either what should I do
Taming more than 1 bird in a cage is possible but it takes a bit longer.. Just focus on the one who is less afraid of you.. The other one you can tame after you have tamed the previous one..
Mine is paried up budgie and it kept egs non of them are hatched and after few months the male one flew away outside it don't want to go but the cage is covered with net from out side of the grill and it is just playing it want to come inside but it is scared by us and it flew away so if we get another budgie will it bread and lay egs
have i messed up for good if we let both our boy and girl out of the cage before they stepped up? they're only 2 months old but seem to be somewhat ok with me getting close, they also live in the same cage and sometimes sleep in the lounge room instead of the cage when the don't want to go in
This was really useful! Thanks a lot i actually let my budgie out of its cage and he still does not come to my finger. so im not gonna let him get out of his cage for awhile. thanks for the info!
I recently took in a 3-year old budgie from a neglected home. He's a lovely little fella. Although he's not trusting enough to eat millet from my hand he's not comfortable with fingers in any way, shape or form. There's no way he'd step up or even let me touch his belly. Is there anything else I can do to help him understand that he's now in a good, loving home?
I don´t think so, I had a Green budgie which I DID tame in a day but that´s because the budgie was used to seeing people, but not to be touched. I spent hours with it and around 5:21 it was tame. In general you can´t really tame a budgie in a day, I think it really depends if it´s used to humans. I had another budgie which took me a month to tame because it was not as used to human contact. So yeah, I think it really depends on if it sees humans or if its just locked away.
Thanks for all the tips.. Your videos are amazing 👍🤩 Btw I have many birds in one big cage...one of them is very tame..I'm trying to tame the second one now..it's going pretty well.. But it does take longer to tame many in one cage🤪

What so proudly we hailed
By the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars
Through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched
Were so gallantly streaming
And the rocket's red glare
The bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there
O' say does that star-spangled
Banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free
And the home of the brave 🇺🇸

Wow just in minutes ❤
Hey just one quick question: what do you do when you get two birds at a time? Because if you can only tame one at once what would you do with the other in that time?
I guess you can equally schedule a time to spend time with each budgie. ❤️
@@gingerwaflle.8845 thanks, when I had mine it actually just worked out, I was stressing out too much😅
@@nameless_blob2055 you can do it with two budgies at a time I did it with 2 budgies and they are now used to me 💕
That budgie is so cute
Omg they are adorable! nice video btw
Your budgie is soooo pretty!
Great videos! Thanks much Kermit, you were always my favorite of the muppets.
No millet no deal
Oooh 😯 savage Neo
I sadly haven’t been able to take my budgie and I can’t get millet do you have any substitute?
love your videos!
So cute budgies
I have 4 budgie 2 budgie is so smart 2 budgie is coward because I see this video thanks for information bro you doing so hardworking for your 63 K family subscriber ❤️👍
Thanks for 3 warning also see you soon in next video keep it up 👍
Some of our budgies are semi trained because I was training them together, but it's true that it's very hard to train them when they're together. It takes months and I've only been able to gain some trust. They usually end up pushing each other away or they just talk to each other and ignore me 😂
Two of them do hop on my finger/hand when I extend it to them 😍 One of the females will come straight away when she sees a millet spray. The other female always keeps a safe distance 😋 Although she did hop on my husband's finger once when she couldn't find the cage and she accepted our help 😍
I think it's possible to train them when they are together, but of course you cannot expect the same results as in this video.
I like your channel also subbed.
@@mousecursor0 thanks 😊 That's great to hear!

Wow I love the coloration of Yu our budgie!
Your pet bird is so sweet
My budgie is the most stubborn budgie i have ever seen. I had it for 1-2 years now and they still arent tamed. He does not eat veggies or fruits and is still kinda scared of me. I am really sad about its situation.
Oh.. Just keep offering veggies every day and ones they're not afraid of it.. He'll try it.
And sometimes taming does take a long time.. I have had my budgie for 3 months now.. He still isn't fully tamed
Budgies are adorable, I’ll give you that
It's been 3 months now. I have four of them. They eat, sleep and play within themselves. So when would they be ready.
The would have been ready 5 months back from you reading this reply. I suggest you start right away!
Heyyyyy this worked I am not lying so what I do is in the morning when I change there food I take there food out and at that moment they are kind of hungry so I take some food on my finger and just keep it still and eventually they started eat from my finger , it’s been a month since I have been feeding them with my hand and now they are used to my presence around them 🥹❤️❤️❤️
Your budgies are beautiful. Somehow I tamed my bunching in A-day before.
I just got a new budgie so that’s why I’m watching this

Apparently friends distracting each other in class is universal.
My green budgie is more scared my blue one is more comfortable with me
samee, my white one is more comfy but my blue one is scared :((
Same bro

Can u please tell me what they will say to millet spray in India
I am searching a lot
Plz help me
tysm! I love your videos
So my budgie flys away when I put my finger in the cage but when I close his cage he chirps and bites the cage and he is seven is that to late to tame also he won’t take any food or millet
So, if you have two budgies in a cage, is it impossible to tame them? Because i do, and idk what to do.
Any help with this will be rlly appreciated!
It’s not impossible but it makes it much harder
Hey im taming 1 budgie but in the cage there another budgie and I don't have another cage what do I do????😢
It was really great, it helped me a lot. Honestly, my Dutch bride did not get very close to me, but I was very kind to her with the things you said. Thank you (:
I wish you are so good I like your videos you make us learn 👐🏻😎
The thing is my house has alot of open doorways and many many places to escape out of the house and I don't know how to let them out while also keeping them from not going outside. The rooms have door gaps do it's not the best place either what should I do
What am i going to do if i have 2 budgies but just one cage??
Taming more than 1 bird in a cage is possible but it takes a bit longer.. Just focus on the one who is less afraid of you.. The other one you can tame after you have tamed the previous one..
Ok thanks
I have two budgies in the same cage , shoul i sperate them so i can tame only one?or i can just let them in the same cage while taming?
pretty cool bird
But I have two budgies in one cage. Can I only tame one? Or do you mean that I shouldn’t tame them at the same time?
Dont tame them at the same time.
@@ParakeetWorld ok thank you!
@Elliot Zackariasson happy to help :)
Focus on taming the one who is less afraid..the other one you can tame after the first one it fully tamed..
@@asiyadraws oki :)
Mine is paried up budgie and it kept egs non of them are hatched and after few months the male one flew away outside it don't want to go but the cage is covered with net from out side of the grill and it is just playing it want to come inside but it is scared by us and it flew away so if we get another budgie will it bread and lay egs
have i messed up for good if we let both our boy and girl out of the cage before they stepped up? they're only 2 months old but seem to be somewhat ok with me getting close, they also live in the same cage and sometimes sleep in the lounge room instead of the cage when the don't want to go in
He is so cute😭😭 I'm adopting one and I started u helped me a lot
How do I do the step up thing if my bird bites? Should I wear gloves?
when will be the right time to take the budgie out of the cage?its my first one and I dont know what to do if it goes flying everywhere
But how am I supposed to time one budgie at a time when I only have one cage?
thank you so much
This was really useful! Thanks a lot i actually let my budgie out of its cage and he still does not come to my finger. so im not gonna let him get out of his cage for awhile. thanks for the info!
Yeah, it's best to tame them inside the cage
What is that on ur budgies leg like a band??
Keep the good work!
Well my budgie can step on my finger but should I bring him out?
Is there anyway to tame it without mullet spray?? Because where I am millet spray isn’t accessible
I have two budgies Bluey and Rio this will definitely help me tysm!
I am also saving to improve their life
Um it's just Rio now bluey flew away🙃
Omg🤣, I'm sorry to hear that
I recently took in a 3-year old budgie from a neglected home. He's a lovely little fella. Although he's not trusting enough to eat millet from my hand he's not comfortable with fingers in any way, shape or form. There's no way he'd step up or even let me touch his belly. Is there anything else I can do to help him understand that he's now in a good, loving home?
I have 2 budgies but if i get a budgie into another cage to tame the other one he just bites me
I want to train my second birdbi have trained the first one with help of this video only thank u 😊
Finally
I've been waiting for this
I have a question is it possible to tame a budgie in one day?
Because there are lots of videos that click bait and stuff
No u can't tame budgies in one day that's BS
Nope, takes about a month usually
(I forgot to mention, it does actually depend the budgie, im just saying usually)
Nope
I don´t think so, I had a Green budgie which I DID tame in a day but that´s because the budgie was used to seeing people, but not to be touched. I spent hours with it and around 5:21 it was tame. In general you can´t really tame a budgie in a day, I think it really depends if it´s used to humans. I had another budgie which took me a month to tame because it was not as used to human contact. So yeah, I think it really depends on if it sees humans or if its just locked away.
Thanks for all the tips..
Your videos are amazing 👍🤩
Btw I have many birds in one big cage...one of them is very tame..I'm trying to tame the second one now..it's going pretty well..
But it does take longer to tame many in one cage🤪
Same I hav 6 budgies in one cage but is it possible to tame all of them??
