I own two spring Drives, and two quartz GS. Also a Seiko sla043. Great watches. I think GS appeals to people who want a quality watch with out the hype . Hand made watches, innovative movements, beauty. No wait list for an over priced status symbol.
What is the model number of the brown dail Grand Seiko the appears in the thumbnail? That is a beautiful watch and I don't understand why more manufacturers don't create more brown dail watches. Brown is a staple color in most men's wardrobes.

Hands are too fat, indicators are these lego blocks, so no precise time, so no thanks.. divers? i don't dive, have no use for these rings, don't even know how they work..
Sorry to sound like a watch snob, but any serious collector of watches knows that Seiko are just wannabes. No self-respecting watch owner would spend thousands on a Seiko rather than an omega, Rolex, AP or Patek. The construction and craftsmanship is not comparable. Now, if you are looking for an inexpensive watch that looks good, then, perhaps a Seiko is in your budget.
