  • Nearly four years ago I uploaded my first ever guitar cover to RUclips. I covered Only Shallow by My Bloody Valentine, under which someone named Michael left some very kind words about him showing the video to his 9 year old son to get him into guitar. After some brief exchanges he recommended me several bands he figured I'd might be into, one of which being Dinosaur Jr.
After giving them a shot they quickly turned into one of my all-time favourite rock bands, greatly inspiring both my guitar playing and musical taste in general. In a couple of months I'll finally be seeing them live for the first time.
This video goes out to Michael!
