- Landing Page for a company (working on one) - A Game (I have 5 of them) - A Database (my next project I guess) - A web3 project (no idea tbh but I'll figure it out) I'll get back here in a month or so and update y'all on what happened.
Just discovered your channel today and after watching 2 videos!! bro, this channel is great!! already Subscribed, i'll grab my popcorn and get more values from the rest of the videos you've uploaded.. thank you Peter, wishing you all the best!
Agree for the most part, but I think the best projects solve your own problem not just *a* problem. I personally would have no use for a help desk app :)
@@PeterElbaum I hear ya but most people who are relatively new to the field should be motivated by building just about anything with their new skills. It's better to build something that a company could see itself utilizing or has utilized.
I have a database project for local compony it includes all database designing and development process, it includes documentation and it was coursework for my database lecture i had.
Thanks for sharing this, I'm currently starting my github portfolio (long time coming lol) and had some ideas on where to start, but I wanted some insight on what others do cuz I wasn't sure if my projects would be enough to highlight my skills...Good to know I was on the right track! (ツ) I've got some basic web pages & a game I started; so hearing ur thoughts r great encouragement to keep going ❤

Great video Peter, 100% agree on building a Web 3 project as it's a huge signal that you're able to keep pace and build at the forefront of tech!
Thanks, Stephen! Time to double down on blockchain 😊

Good ideas but I think projects should be centered around solving problems. Like a help desk app.

@@PeterElbaum Many businesses do have a use for something of the like. And we get paid to solve our companies problems. Unless ya freelance
Sure, but it's a question of motivation. To me, it's more fun to work on something that's making my life better and also is a good portfolio project.
