Jared Novak I know, but it's basically for theme and to hold max capacity for waiting so, if I were you, just take a walk through it and enjoy it all because there's that amazing ride right inside the batcave
It might not be very tall, or fast...but there aren't a whole lot of coasters engineered to subject riders to forces of gravity over 4G. Yet, this ride peaks at 4.5G on two of the double helix turns. My chest hurts every time, but it's so much fun!
Apart from Nemesis (now Nemesis Reborn) at Alton Towers, which is unique in its integration with the landscape, I think this is the only B&M invert that DOESN'T start with a diving left turn straight into a loop from the top of the lift hill. It does a diving RIGHT turn, straight into a loop (in fact, I think the whole layout is mirrored? I may be wrong). In every other way, it's practically identical to pretty much all of the other ones.
have u ever ridden this? this ride doesnt look like much in the videos, but when u get on this thing is super intense! its so intense that it is my number 1 roller coaster in the world. And this is commin from someone who will ride anything...
This was the first coaster I ever road. Now I’ve ridden Batman, American thunder, boss, pandemonium, twisted cyclone, Goliath, raven, Georgia scorcher, voyage, and I can’t remember the last one but it was at Holliday world.
I went to six flags a couple weeks ago but we were gonna go on the batman after the water park but by the time we got in line it was already 3 and the line was an hour long! And I love 3 hours away, and i was sad I didn't get to go on but I might go again to six flags this weekend or this summer.
Apparently the only car of Mega Zeph at the defunct SFNO is located/stored under the station here. Think that’s pretty neat if true, but I think the article on it was deleted.
This was my first coaster! Lol I remember I was praying when we were going up the hill on the ride! Haha, I screamed so loud! Lol it's funny because at first I was sooooo scared of roller coasters but now I have no limit at all! I'll ride anything!
i think they should have made the batman bigger. Batman (the actual superhero) is fucking badass and is all about using fear against others it should be big and scary
my first time to six flags i rode this ride as the first ride and this is accally my favorite ride there this ride is EPIC its way more then it looks on camera by alot!
@xopatrycjaxo ummm sorry to break it to you but there are rows of four and it is literally the same exact layout as the other batman rides except it is a "mirror" to the other ones. :)
Ok I rode this first time at age 13 and it was my first ever real roller coaster because I was afraid.... it’s kinda intense for your first roller coaster but it was a lot of fun but if you have glasses I warn you PLEASE put them somewhere you will definitely lose them
oh but the 2nd time i rode this, the restraint that goes over your shoulders was locked in, but a bit loose. so the whole time i was freaking out b/c at each loop or twirl it would move back and forth (only a cenemeter though).
mine too! well second because i rode big thunder mountain at disney when i was 10, but rode this one last year! a big step up from big thunder mountain at disney. i even rode the boss after that! :P
Jordan W.H. My list is 1.Mr.Freeze 2.American Thunder 3.Screamin' Eagle 4.Batman 5.Either The Boss or Pandemonium. Also I completely agree with what you said about ninja.
haha i was on a trip w/ a group and the mom in my group was like it'll be fun! so i did and i was freaking out at the beginning when we went up (i think going up is the WORST part). but, let's just say i rode it 3 more times that day(: and 3 other coasters... including the boss!
Six Flags stole Goliath from SFNO after Katrina. The ride belonged to the City of New Orleans and SF Dismantled it and moved to to SFFT. To this day i can't stand SF for what they did to SFNO and Astroworld in the SAME YEAR. They are a Disgrace
+Craig Anderson It wasn't at all stolen. Six Flags still owned the ride at the time. They just took it to SFFT and rebuilt it as Goliath. Being a native Houstonian, I agree that it's sad Astroworld and SFNO had to close. But keep in mind that Six Flags was really struggling at the time, and needed to close at least one park. Astroworld was the least profitable one and it was being slowly consumed by gang activity. SFNO was destroyed by Katrina and most of the property was not salvageable.
I got yelled at by an employee because one time me and my friends were there and he said "how was the ride?" And I yelled "TRAUMATIZING" and when everybody was getting off he was like "you wanna ride this again l, bud?" I said sure and I rode it again and I liked it and he was like "did you learn your lesson?" I said "no" and then got off. XD
Elias Mertens You could say that, but you need to consider that it is a roller coaster where you are seated in a position where you would have a tendency to dangle, and my head began to dangle and I tried to lift it back up but doing so hurt (idk why). The rest of the rides were fine, though.
Aw, that's unfortunate! That happened to me at my home park on Outlaw Run, I had my head craned forward going over the big drop and it started to make my neck ache.
I rode it 14 times lol. I was on a cross country trip and stopped at six flags st Louis and this ride immediately caught my eyes! I loved it. especially sitting on the edge in the front! I wish I was still there
I hate how long it takes to walk through the entrance to the ride
thats why you run
Yes but it's totally worth it
Jared Novak ikr
Jared Novak I know, but it's basically for theme and to hold max capacity for waiting so, if I were you, just take a walk through it and enjoy it all because there's that amazing ride right inside the batcave
"Let's walk through a sewer pipe kids!"
the batman is Super SUPER fun to ride. its even better at night!
DigEwolf yep
all These B&M's are Loud
Kevin Thompson because they were intended to be then, they just changed it now
I FINALLY RODE IT!!! IT WAS NOT EVEN SCARY!! IM SO PROUD OF MYSELF.. LIKE FOR ALL THE TIMWS I DIDNT RIDE IT,I REGRET IT LOL
My second favorite ride at that park, Mr freeze is my favorite. But i love the batsuit they have in the station.
Yes i agree mr freeze is my fav but batman is second :)
Nevermind it's the same one except its reflected
this is by far the most intense coaster at SFStL. the G's at the bottom of the second loop = paradise
Very good.
It might not be very tall, or fast...but there aren't a whole lot of coasters engineered to subject riders to forces of gravity over 4G. Yet, this ride peaks at 4.5G on two of the double helix turns. My chest hurts every time, but it's so much fun!
BertonRucker1 actually there is a lot. There is 7 other exact clones of this ride and many more that reach 4.5 Gs

They are the only " Mirror" Image B&M Clones
Mirrored, aren't they?
the first time I rode the bat man was when I was ten and I am a huge chicken and I cried at the entrance 😂
Tater Tot same
They are both mirror images of the original Batman The Ride clones
The video was shot in 2010, but that year, the graffiti in the queue line was taken down.
I love riding this ride in the front it feels like you're flying!!
I rode the one at Great Adventure and was surprised by how awesome it was! So many G's! One of my favorite inverted coasters.
I freaking love this ride this was my first rollercoaster before 4th grade started with im in now this is the best ride ever rode it like 4 times
Trust me, this ride is a lot more intense than it looks.
Yeah i waited 4 years to ride it really intense and fun!!
OMG I RODE THIS IN THE SAME PARK IT WAS SO MUCH FUN
cant wait until I go back to six flags st.louis this summer!!!!!!!!1 2013 summer will be AWESOME!!!!!!
This ride looks A LOT like The Gauntlet at Magic Springs in Arkansas. The climb and the first drop are pretty much identical.
Best coaster ever!
This is my favorite type of roller coaster B&M Inverts are amazing.
Rode this 4 times yesterday, best ride there ♥
I'm gonna do this.
I have a massive fear off going upside down, but the rode was still fun!
This was the first coaster I ever road. Now I’ve ridden Batman, American thunder, boss, pandemonium, twisted cyclone, Goliath, raven, Georgia scorcher, voyage, and I can’t remember the last one but it was at Holliday world.
It was the Thunderbird.
I went to six flags a couple weeks ago but we were gonna go on the batman after the water park but by the time we got in line it was already 3 and the line was an hour long! And I love 3 hours away, and i was sad I didn't get to go on but I might go again to six flags this weekend or this summer.
Love has No gender I went once and the line was 3 hours long!!
Apparently the only car of Mega Zeph at the defunct SFNO is located/stored under the station here. Think that’s pretty neat if true, but I think the article on it was deleted.
the best coaster at six flags, but i hate how short the ride is.
This was my first coaster! Lol I remember I was praying when we were going up the hill on the ride! Haha, I screamed so loud! Lol it's funny because at first I was sooooo scared of roller coasters but now I have no limit at all! I'll ride anything!

my first time to six flags i rode this ride as the first ride and this is accally my favorite ride there this ride is EPIC its way more then it looks on camera by alot!
And this ride is my all time favorite. So much fun
NANANANANANANANA BATMAN!!!!
They should really switch this ride backwards too! What do you think CoasterForce?
I LOVE THIS RIDE
this isnt batman for me, this is mind eraser. we have batman and you sit in rows of 4 and its really loopy and fun:)
even better to ride at night
i speak from experience
This should be the next Batman clone to be painted blue. Unless they already did that. Did they?
You got partnership gratz!
Went on that like a million times awesome ride
I loved the Batman!
I love that ride and how it roars
It seemed pretty rusty or was it just me, i like how many coasters start the way this one does, for example dueling dragons, exact same spin.
I've already been, but I'm going again tomorrow!!😁😁So much fun!!
+Meg Kitchen The scariest part of the ride for me is when you just begin to drop and you can see everyone at the entrance.
Really? That's like saying a shoe is just like a doorknob.
i think i know how they are different/.
ones inverted, ones a flying coaster????????
AM I RIGHT?
is this a mirrored type of the other batmans at six flags
I Love all the Rides at six flags st Louis Eurk
@superwiko yes over the last couple years most of the theme-ing has been removed other than the Gotham signs and the fact the stations a batcave.
Rode this today 👍🏽
@xopatrycjaxo ummm sorry to break it to you but there are rows of four and it is literally the same exact layout as the other batman rides except it is a "mirror" to the other ones. :)
I have risen this and It is soooooo smooth
Ok I rode this first time at age 13 and it was my first ever real roller coaster because I was afraid.... it’s kinda intense for your first roller coaster but it was a lot of fun but if you have glasses I warn you PLEASE put them somewhere you will definitely lose them
Lily Argent same but at age ten
@superwiko i know the Batman plate was removed because it was too heavy as of everything else i don't know.
all of them kinda looks the same, but there are some differinces
oh but the 2nd time i rode this, the restraint that goes over your shoulders was locked in, but a bit loose. so the whole time i was freaking out b/c at each loop or twirl it would move back and forth (only a cenemeter though).
Yes it pushes the restraint Esspeicially after the drop when your about too enter the loop
How scary would you guys rate it from 1-10
Messi Andy About an 8
I went to six flags today and rode that. one of the best ones there
what would happen if it got stuck at the part where you were upside down?
unlike the illinois batman ride this ones still comes in black lol
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom aren't they different cause they go the opposite way
This ride is basically the patriot at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City
But with different layouts.
The hill seems really short - how tall is it?
mine too! well second because i rode big thunder mountain at disney when i was 10, but rode this one last year! a big step up from big thunder mountain at disney. i even rode the boss after that! :P
It drops to the right, not the left
Top 5 roller coaster in six flags st louis
5 ninja
4 boomerang

Jordan W.H. My list is
1.Mr.Freeze

Six Flags stole Goliath from SFNO after Katrina. The ride belonged to the City of New Orleans and SF Dismantled it and moved to to SFFT. To this day i can't stand SF for what they did to SFNO and Astroworld in the SAME YEAR. They are a Disgrace

+Craig Anderson ... ' Good 4 U
Craig Anderson there's a batman at every six flags and six flags great americas one was the first so by law sfno stole batman from us
Craig Anderson they just move it jeez.
At the start it looks like the one in great adventure
This thing gave me such a headache...lasted 2 a d
This one looks like its bigger
I got yelled at by an employee because one time me and my friends were there and he said "how was the ride?" And I yelled "TRAUMATIZING" and when everybody was getting off he was like "you wanna ride this again l, bud?" I said sure and I rode it again and I liked it and he was like "did you learn your lesson?" I said "no" and then got off. XD
that's bs
I rode that yesterday never going to six flags again I'm scared of heights fuck that shit
I went on this ride and hurt my back :/
Yah that's your own damn fault
Not really, we were on a school field trip and had to travel in groups, where my group decided to ride the Batman without my consent.
SnakeSpiderScorpion What happened? Batman is on of the smoothest roller coasters I've been on.
That happened to me at my home park on Outlaw Run, I had my head craned forward going over the big drop and it started to make my neck ache.
seems similar to talon at dorney
iv been on it lol
is it scary little son Wants to know
kinda, I would watch out though because I almost passed out while on this ride
Not at all
mirror image
make it steadier!!!!!!
Rode when I was 3 and peed on myself
And a half hours
this one at st. louis is horribly maintained or something. the batman ride at Great America is 10x smoother than this one
I have to see how good or bad it is when I go later this year.
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom , ok
This one
I rode it 8 times
I rode it 14 times lol. I was on a cross country trip and stopped at six flags st Louis and this ride immediately caught my eyes! I loved it. especially sitting on the edge in the front! I wish I was still there
I'm in San Diego california btw iyw.
