I purchased these brushes when I really wanted travel brushes and these amazed me. I was glad they screwed together so they were sturdy and the tops wouldn’t go flying. I unfortunately misplaced them during a move but they are great for plen air painting.

Hi there, glad to see your review! I have some experience with brushes, being from Russia, where all the furs come from. 😊 Also painting watercolours for 35 years. These brushes are definitely natural, but it's not squirrel and not kolinsky. It's some sort of red sable, there are many types and kinds of them. More snappy than squirrel, but hold less water. Personally I prefer sable to squirrel. If you can get yourself black Siberian sable brushes, it's the very best I've tried, and rare.
These brushes look nice, wpuld love to try this brand someday!

They also have synthetics for squirrel and sable for those who do not think animals should be harmed for art sake alone. I've had a set for 4 years i use all the time and it's still like new. Im not a fan of natural hair because i tend to be heavy handed and really beat my brushes up. The synthetics squirrels are my favorites 😍

i’m glad you got this set to review! i was sooo curious about it because they have the silver handle and black handle travel brushes. the black ones have two sets. yours (squirrel) and the set of 4 (sable). i have a feeling they’re the same hair but maybe mislabelled. but im so glad you reviewed this set! now i know they’re not as soft as the squirrel brushes we know 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 looking forward to the palette ;)
Hi Vee. Yes, im happy with this brushes. At first, Inwas a bit worried, they won't fit my preference (as i prefer), and springy brushes, they gladly they are. They're somewhere between the usual squirrel and kolinsky. So i think that they're flexible. I'm excited to upload the palette experience lager tonight. 😅

Yayyy. Hello. Happy New Year. These brushes are not the most premium, but they perform well for the price. I hope they last long, but some artists commented here that they are durable and have used them for years now. I hope you'll like yours soon. I got several sets of the fuumuui brushes about 6 years ago. I bought several because they were so inexpensive I thought they'd wear out fast. I was wrong. The first pack I opened and use daily are still as good as new. Still have a great point. Still holding their shadow and yes, they are natural hair. They are wonderful.
Except mine have a much thinner barrel and are much softer. They have no snap back. Which I enjoy. I did get a set with more snap and thicker barrels but I'm not a thrilled with this fat barrels. Mine do not twist either. They are fiction for and still hold strong. I'll never buy a legacy brands again.

Yes, they have been wonderful for me and I am still very very happy with them. I recommend them to everyone I know. Yes. They've been around for many many years. 30 years I believe.

I have these brushes but they were rebranded as Museo and were not screwed together. I seriously overpaid for them unfortunately and they did not come in a set lol …. I do use them almost every day tho.

hey are they squirrel hair? i got them recently and they were listed as kolinsky sable. i am confused ..
They actually feel kolinsky because of the snap of the hairs. This is also harder than the usual squirrel hair. I guess they might have mixed it up.

Their squirrel and sable brushes are nearly identical. Still good brushes all the same.

I bought the previous model and they don't screw together and are loose. I use tape so that the cap doesn't move. This is a nice improvement. I contacted them about that when I bought them.
When I bought mine, the description said kolinsky sable. They look like yours, but mine are snappier.
I do like them.
I was looking at the set with a dagger and I think a flat.
Ohh. Good news that they improved the screw now. And also, this might be Kolinsky? It feels Kolinsky as its not soft. It favors my preference but im not sure if its good for the consumers as it may be confusing. Hope people watch reviews first. Thanks for sharinh your experience. 🙏
