2 tablespoon of oil
1 packet of sazón
1 packet of ham
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon of adobo
2 tablespoons of sofrito
2 tablespoons of tomatoe sauce
1 1/2 cups of rice
1 1/2 - 2 cups of water

@@GigisRecipes It came out pretty darn good! By applying your technique I was able to make the rice more on the dry side the way I like it. I was always making it too sticky. I will keep making it this way. Thank you!

My rice sticks to the aluminum pot every time 15 min when I check it. Forms a hard layer. Any advice?
Is the hard layer in the bottom of the rice?? If so that's normal. If not Maybe the flames need to be a little lower or you need to cover it completely first. Hope this helps.
Gigi's Recipes it’s not the pegao I remembered from my family’s cooking. The bottom hard layer is stuck with burnt rice, not just the seasonings. Maybe I need to turn that heat down :/

Thanks for the video! I love Puerto Rican beans and rice! But every time I make them I hear my Mexican grandma yelling at me in my head to never mix the rice! 😂 once she covers the rice she doesn’t touch it until it’s ready to eat!

You need to give more details, like how high the flame is, how long to cook it for, etc… nice rice though. Thanks.
The flame should be on medium to medium high heat since it is rice it can burn and ruin ur pot as well , cook it until the water is all soaked up into the rice which takes Around 20-40 minutes since it’s a big pot
