The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

Also in case you don't know the Adder shoots full size bolts fine (15") if you want to use them on it, just need to cheat the dry fire mechanism. Steambow Stinger 2 is also super fun if you haven't tried that.

What would be the broadheads for Adder that would have pretty much the same trajectory as the "blue" target tips bolts? In other words, if I set up my sights with "blue" bolts, what hunting tips should I buy so that the bolts with those hunting tips will hit roughly at the same place? The distance I'm talking about is up to 20 m (red dot). Is this even possible with Adder?

  • @TheShonuff888

I seen the video that you can shortened the safety pin, so when you crank it, it doesn’t automatically activate the safety. It requires you to take it apart, so it’s best to have the tools to do it, mainly a vice and a hacksaw.

Which is online for an extra £100 the jamming is issue tho still and puts me off as I’ve seen people with this now snap strings which is very expensive if it keeps happening pretty cool and I like just it’s tech it’s pretty cool….

I recently bought an EK Adder. I'm trying to figure out how to make a suitable target. I made one out of layers of foam which were compressed together with ratchet tie-downs, but the bolts disappear right into it and I have to take the whole thing apart to get them out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Paul. Auckland, New Zealand.
