This is not a McLaren P1 is a P1.5!
Lol i just came from JustinPlays stream on war thunder🤣
We're excited to see this amazing machine come to life. I got to tell you I wasn't expecting another video for awhile, but you go and surprise us. You're a legend.
That wrap giving off BMW Fina vibes 👌

3 video one weekend. 4 if you include Jack.
@@agsk8life what are you yapping about?
@@agsk8life nobody knows what your talking about.
i was about to say the same thing
I had to double check it wasn't yesterday's vid. YOU MACHINE.
You're no different
It's genuinely heart-warming to see how collaborative this build has been, and the way you've showcased the talents of so many artisans, mechanics and other technicians. So awesome.
When you started talking about the exhaust, I instantly knew/hoped it would be Chris. So awesome to see this. Congrats on this build so far man, you guys are absolutely smashing this one.
It’s crazy how big he’s gotten, he’s based only an hour from me & I remember him starting out in his garage
When I first started watching this series I expected a nice restoration with some budget choices that would make this like a 75% P1. I knew it would be nice, but per the video where you revealed the prices for replacement parts from Mclaren, it seemed like everyone acknowledged that it wasn't realistic to try to do a full OEM rebuild knowing that you would never recoup the value because of the flood. But you have taken this in a direction that is mind blowing. You really are making this the coolest and most unique P1 in the world. It's a car that I honestly believe every other P1 owner will be truly envious of. What an accomplishment. I can't wait to see the story continue. I'm sure it will only get better from here.
I’m wondering how he’s going to financially recover from this 😅
@@AGreyGoat By making millions on his RUclips channel, this is one of the reason you are watching.
@@AGreyGoat Same lol but this build is getting big views and Freddy could even sell some cars if he really needed to. This P1 will definitely give him tons more street cred like the orange F&F Murci. Probably way more.
It's going to be a gem 💎 when finished. I can't wait to see it on RUclips finished haha. Could only imagine how good it's going to look in person
@@AGreyGoatsponsors and advert revenue I'm sure he's doing fine
I hope the previous owner shows up to SEMA, that'd be really badass
that would be a fun video
I hope so too, to let him see how his P1 have been given a second chance.
And then he tries to buy it back 😂😂😂
Imagine he sells it back to him
@@RandomPersonOnRUclips-isinuse $2.5m, no low-ballers. I know what I've got.
WOW amazing series. So cool how your showing everyone whose had a helping hand and supporting/shouting their business. learning so much what has to go into a build like this. Your commitment to your build, peers and people watching is impressive. Bravo!!
Impressive on literally every level, and the humble nature of Tavarish to put so many worthy builders and technicians up on this project is world class. Stay humble my friend...you're going to have the nicest P1 on Planet Earth when this is all done. Bravo!
Freddy killing it over here! Great job dude. See you soon
You the man Alex!
Alex! Love to see the support!
Ciao Alex, waiting for news from your headquarters as well.

Gotta get this series to the finish line, SEMA is this week lol

I appreciate you showing so much of this build. When so many other shows cram a 6 month build into a 30 min episode and make it look so easy. You show the real difficulty involved and amount of work it takes to do something like this. Bravo!
It's so amazing how far you and your friends/team have come to completing this peace of art. You are a lucky man and I know all your friends are happy for you
Seems every SEMA project car I've followed is a festival of superhuman effort with utter frantic last minute deadline-looming stress factors. Like six weeks work in six days. Standing ovation, Freddy, because your crew pulled together an astonishing feat in record time with jaw dropping results even for a work in progress. Can't wait for the post-SEMA chapter. You're truly an inspiration for taking on this insanely difficult transformation. Bravo 👏
Freddy inviting all these specialists to showcase their talent and amazing work is awesome! Not only do you give them exposure, but you also support their business!
it takes a village to raise a P1 from the dead
@@user-et7bb5gv5b For sure! Each of those specialists can now say they have worked on a P1 which will look really good in their portfolio.
It also means he doesn't go bankrupt in the process ;)
@@baddriving3966 it's a win-win situation!
Bro this man let everyone touches HIS cars but not himself, and he doesn’t even pay them🤦🏻♂️
I came to this channel after watching the Jay Leno episode with the other Mclaren. I have watched all 12 episodes in the last week and I have to say that it was absolutely fascinating to see the car taken completely to bits and gradually rebuilt and improved. I appreciate all the specialists (actually artisans!) coming onboard to make and repair specific parts and impart their knowledge.
Wish you all the best @tavarish with the final stages of the build. Looking forward to the next episodes!
I think your work ethic is what it takes to pull off a build like this. If you need something done you don’t do it over the phone you show up at the place. You’ve flown all over the world for this car. This series is the perfect guide of how to achieve your goals. You don’t wait around for things to happen, you make them happen. Beautiful job, and congratulations to you sir.
Friends like his don’t come by easy. These kinda projects have frustrations and tempers flare but a great group of friends will stick it out because the end is a great reward of accomplishment that no one has done.
I love how Tavarish shouts out everyone for their work. Real high class man 👏👏👏
When he gets their work for FREE, I would shout out as well! He is getting thousands of work for nothing by advertising the company! Doesn't need a genius to determine what he's doing!
@richardgreene3460 seriously lol. People are excited about helping on a project like this otherwise they wouldn't do it. Nobody gets anything for free. There is something in this for all parties who choose to get involved.
@@richardgreene3460where did you hear he got their work for free? If you think so, you're on a vibe.
@@brandonwisco he definitely gets a discount but i don’t recon its ever FREE, he still gave the same shoutout to tachyon for the turbos and i doubt they’re giving him custom built turbos for free.
@@tobiasnaylor Especially when only .1% of watchers will ever need a custom turbo, or whatever else he used.
Absolutely AMAZING work Freddie! you and the guys have knocked it out of the park! The P1 is one of my all time favourites and I can't wait to see it run, loving what you've done so far! Keep up the tremendous work and I can't wait to see where this goes next
I love that interior colour & the red you chose Freddy. That car is starting to look superb
I think the coolest thing about this series is its also showing off all of these talented business owners showing off their craft on a very difficult project.
The thing that keeps me drawn to this series is the sheer audacity of it.
Tavarish, subscribed many many years ago when you uploaded your first videos on fixing some cars and followed along and saw the progress with better and more expensive cars over the years.
This today is a masterpiece of art, so beautiful and with so much love and experience built, thank you for that, Sir Tavarish.
Greetings from south of Germany, from Stuttgart, home of Porsche and Mercedes-Benz. 😍🍀
Such an awesome and awe inspiring build that only Tavarish can do. I love your humbleness and genuine appreciation for all those who helped you along the way. That's what always makes watching your journey and projects so much fun and so enjoyable
this guy is a legend, still humble, never got into his mind, we are your fans man!
Just when I thought we had to wait another 2-3 weeks for the next video, this mans drops the next day, lets go!! 😮💨🔥
Yeah he mentioned in a community post that he might be able to drop 2 this weekend, so stoked he was able to.
So much love being put into these videos. It’s an art piece all in its own.
Been following this build from the beginning and it's really getting exciting to see it coming together. Can't imagine anyone, especially if they've watched, wanting to take on a project of this magnitude. Looking forward to seeing the first road test, fingers crossed.
Freddie I met you in the UK a few weeks ago. I love how humble you are, that ending was perfect dude. Looking forward to the next one
You my friend took the phrase project car to a whole new level. Sickest P1 out there. So happy for you man 🔥🫡
Congrats, Man !!! You should be super proud of the work you and your crew and everyone else who had a hand in the P1 EvO !! I thoroughly enjoy watching your projects. Kudos!
New to your channel and I literally watched all 12 parts of this build in just one day and wow!! What an amazing journey you’ve taken us on. Super excited to see the final product. I’m based all the way in South Africa and recently just got into car reviews. I do hope to get into buying and rebuilding cars in this manner too as I used to watch my dad do the very same growing up. Truly inspiring watching you guys tackle this challenge 👏🏾🔥🔥

Awesome series! When Tavarish said "thankfully, I have pretty good friends" Who wanted to see Jared walk in with a huge smile on his face and a big hug! :)
We miss Jared!!

Having watched him for years … I didn’t realize it would feel this emotional. Good job Freddy ! You really feel the vision from when he used to say wrench everyday
Same! Can't believe how emotionally invested i am in this I pity anyone that stopped watching over the hybrid stuff
29:52 Freddy! Love all that you do. Wanted to say when you opened the box to expose your new wheel for the P1 OMG! Fantastic! Thanks, Scott
I think the craziest part of the whole build is the vision. When this P1 was flooded and totaled, I don’t think anyone would have thought to restore it. But the vision to not just restore it but make it a 1:1 is just astounding. Believe in your ideas and with the right people, it can become a reality. Awesome job!
That's the problem. it is not this P1. They exchange almost every single part and build a new car in the image of another car.
This show is turning into something pretty amazing. These side missions where you feature other shops and thier specialties is awesome. Great exposure for them as well.
It’s worth noting, we’re watching a lot more than just a hyper car rebuild. That in and of it’s is just nuts. But the collaboration and effort being put forward by everyone involved is just unmatched. Freddy has forever changed the way we watch rebuilds. Being brought along while he makes major decisions on the most infamous build on RUclips is a true joy. Thank you ❤

It’s not a hypercar anymore, it’s just going to be a modified super car.
@@IamDude2 please explain how improving a car in terms of technology by today’s standards, not when it was built, constitutes a demotion in the cars build?
@@nickcoleman1968 I’m sorry, what? You think building a motor is what makes this a hypercar?! Ah bless. What made this a hypercar was the way the hybrid system linked in with the IC engine, without it it’s just a modified 675 which would be a modified super car. If he’d replaced the hybrid system with the modern day equivalent AND modified the engine then yes, you’d be right. But he isn’t going to, this is just a rebuild on the cheap, so you’re wrong and come across like a sad little fanboy.
I don't think he's concerned about it being cheap but rather is rushing the build to keep views up.
Tbh I wouldn't have a problem waiting 2 years for the build to be complete whilst they do other stuff like the Audi r8 on the side but this is the way they've decided to go. 😮😮
1,000,000%% Frddie... absolutely breathtaking and from the heart. Love ya man. Outstanding job to your people at Team Tavarish!!!! Hearts all round!!
This man is WILD - tavarish & all the people helping this build are LEGENDARY!
Damn that hug from Jack at the end just shows how much time and effort everyone put it!!
Yep, I felt that hug...dam nearly teared up.
Can't wait to see the follow up to this - It's a great piece of work from everyone involved.
Great job everyone involved in this project. Really looking forward to hearing that unobtanium exhaust!
Thank you Freddie for not “faking it” with the car at Sema. It’s sooo much better to see it in it’s current state then just put together to look finished.
Freddy has really elevated to another dimension after his heartfelt video about personal issues and dedicating to the P1 projects. I was not really interested to see his content but this series has been wonderful. And I have to give special mention to music track selection that have been better than most channels.
What an amazing journey! This has Been watching you build this car up and all of the hard work your friends has given you. I cannot wait to see more! Congratulations!
Great video, the production level of your videos is off the hook. Visuals are amazing, love your cut to welding and the entire process.
Been a long time lurker and out off all the content you've put out and maybe the entire car community. No build has united this many people compared to this. The emotions of seeing what you build roll again is something i remember fondly and will never forget.
Damn this would be the sickest P1 comeback in the world. So happy for you Tavarish ❤
Part for the fact that now it's basically a tuned 650S.
@@AB-80XNot sure, but I’m almost certain the 650, doesn’t have a 720 engine, let alone a built 720 engine. Also suspect the suspension is far better on the P1 than it is in the 650, so personally I don’t see that comparison.
@@MechanicalMafioso
Like I said, tuned. Or in this case, engine swapped.
As for the suspension. Let's see what happens. Maybe he also realizes that the OE suspension is too expensive and thus just throws a set of coilovers at it.
@@MechanicalMafiosoit'll be twice as expensive as DDE 720 GTR with a built 1300+hp engine. The P1 without the hybrid drivetrain and battery will actually weigh less than the 720s. It'll have an older version of the 650s/720s transmission. Won't be a completely new build but it should be interesting
@@sys-administrator
That's a ridiculous comparison, and you know it.
